As I sat beside Lady Vivian and held her hand to show that I was not like my brother, she instantly raised her head from her son's chest and turned toward me.
I expected her to yell at me. I mean, she had done that before, so it wouldn't have been a surprise.
However, she shocked me when she held my hand and gently rubbed the back of it.
"No, it's not your fault. The fact that you are saying all this already means so much to me. And I'm sure you love my daughter more than your own brother."
It was her way of telling me that she did not hold me accountable for my brother's actions, and that she did not hate me for being a Lycan.
"But you told me before that your brother is a bad person. I want to know everything about that," Lady Vivian asked, almost like she was requesting her son.
Kash began filling her in on everything that had happened over time, and I noticed the warriors starting to relax.
