"Ha!" Felicia scoffed. "I didn't ask Spider-Man to do my dirty work."
"After witnessing him gun down at Ben Urich's place, I grabbed a gun and went to Thomson's office, where I shot him!"
"I don't think I missed," she said, turning to Thomson. "But... why are you still alive?"
"That was just a filthy imposter!" Thomson yelled, struggling to his feet inside the cage.
"Imposter?" Felicia was shocked.
"Yes," the Green Goblin's voice echoed from behind. "Unfortunately, that was one of my men."
At that moment, Kraven the Hunter, standing to the side, glared at Felicia: "My idiot brother... was killed by a woman!"
The Green Goblin reached out and grabbed Felicia: "I'm sorry, dear. I actually cherish the relationship between us, but the Chameleon is one of us, and this matter can't be left unresolved. Otherwise, I can't explain it to them!"
"Don't touch me!" Felicia pushed Green Goblin away, slapping him.
As a woman, her strength was somewhat astonishing, primarily due to her years of persistent training.
But the next moment, Kraven the Hunter reached out and grabbed her hair, slamming her to the ground.
"You killed my dear brother, how do you want to die?"
The skin on Green Goblin's face was cracked. He covered the split on his face in annoyance, looking at Felicia on the ground: "You angered me! I wanted to make this quick and easy, but you always do things that make me angry. You know the consequences of making me angry!"
"Kraven, bring her over here!"
Kraven the Hunter pulled Felicia up by her hair.
The three of them came before a glass container, which was crawling with hideous, ugly venomous spiders.
Green Goblin grabbed Felicia by the hair, slamming her face against the container's glass. "You like spiders, don't you, woman? Wanting to avenge that spider, Yurik?"
"Open your eyes and watch closely. When Vulture brings Parker here, I'll make him watch you embrace the spiders!"
"I'm sorry, Vulture only sent his apologies."
A voice cut through the air.
Shadow Spider-Man dropped from above, his hands shooting out webbing: ". He's been permanently detained!"
Thwack! Thwack!
Two globs of webbing struck the two closest Green Goblin's henchmen, binding them instantly.
Peter noticed that Shadow Spider-Man's webbing emission method was different from his. He used technologically synthesized webbing, while the other hero shot it directly from his wrists.
The advantage of this was that his webbing could be fired at will, unlike his own, which was limited to the pre-set patterns of the web-shooters.
Perhaps when I get back, I can try adjusting the web-shooters using this method?
Green Goblin and Kraven the Hunter below were startled. Kraven the Hunter quickly drew his gun and began firing at Peter.
Buzz! Spider-Sense automatically triggered.
Peter landed on the ground, twisting his body nimbly to dodge the bullet. Then, he instinctively pulled out his revolver, preparing to retaliate.
However, when he was about to pull the trigger, he hesitated.
On the one hand, the high school student Peter was currently in the dominant position in his consciousness. On the other hand, he remembered Aunt May's words.
"Wow, Spider-Man actually showing mercy? That's a first!" Kraven the Hunter sneered.
"Idiot, what are you doing? Why aren't you shooting him?" Jonah, locked in a cage nearby, also yelled.
Green Goblin laughed heartily, "You wouldn't happen to be an imposter, would you?"
"Hmph!" At that moment, Parker suddenly stretched out his hand and used a web to pull Kraven the Hunter in front of him, smashing a fist into his face.
Bang!
Kraven the Hunter's mouth was immediately filled with blood, and his teeth were basically gone. His prominent nose was also directly crooked. The immense force caused him to become dizzy.
Parker threw two more punches, smashing them onto his shoulder blades, directly shattering them.
With the current surgical standards, even if they could be pieced back together, those hands probably wouldn't be able to exert much force in the future.
For a beast tamer, this was more agonizing than death.
And this was the result of the compromise between the "good" Parker and the "evil" Parker.
The "evil" Parker advocated for killing these guys, while the "good" Parker couldn't bring himself to do it.
So their fused consciousness decided on a compromise: disable him.
Parker released Kraven the Hunter, tossing him carelessly onto the ground.
Kraven the Hunter lay limp, the successive waves of pain triggering his body's protective mechanisms, plunging him into unconsciousness.
Clatter!
At that moment, the sound of chains falling to the ground echoed from a nearby cage.
It turned out that Green Goblin, while Parker was dealing with the two henchmen and Kraven, had opened the cage containing the tiger.
It was a white tiger, nearly four meters long, and incredibly fierce.
More importantly, the cage opened inward, towards the cage next to it, where Jonah was held!
Green Goblin cackled sinisterly, "Feeding time!"
"Aaaah!" Jonah screamed in terror, stumbling backward.
But his feet were bound by chains, limiting his movement, and the cage was small.
The White Tiger, starved for days, was already famished. Seeing Jonah, its eyes immediately lit up, revealing a ferocious glint as it lunged towards him.
At the critical moment, Peter reached out and shot two strands of webbing, binding the White Tiger's upper and lower body simultaneously, and pulled hard.
The large white tiger, weighing a full four hundred kilograms, was pulled back by Peter, directly suspended upside down at the edge of the cage.
Peter transferred the webbing from his left hand to his right and pulled out a revolver, shoving it directly into the White Tiger's ear.
Bang bang!
Two shots in rapid succession.
The White Tiger's skull was tough, but it couldn't withstand bullets fired directly into its ears.
Two high-speed spinning bullets slammed directly into it's head, turning its brain into mush.
Awoo—
White Tiger let out a mournful howl and died on the spot.
"Thanks, but don't worry about me, go save your girlfriend!" Jonah said quickly, seeing that Peter still wanted to enter the cage to rescue him.
Peter knew he was talking about Felicia, but Felicia wasn't his girlfriend.
He didn't argue about it, but turned to look at where the Green Goblin had been standing.
The Green Goblin had opened a door to an underground passage and was dragging Felicia inside, a revolver held to her head.
"If you dare to follow, I'll blow her brains out!" After leaving a threat, the Green Goblin jumped into the underground passage with Felicia and disappeared.
"Widow, uh... wha-what the heck?!"
Just as Peter prepared to give chase, his Spider-Sense warned him again. Behind him, a figure shouted as they lunged.
