It was nighttime on the first day, and I stopped looking at the guys I had planned to sacrifice. Since I had 20 fresh souls for the chopping block, there was no point in looking for more right now. My next target was the last three-member female team that I had planned to grab.
Each of them had several colored hairs, like highlights of different colors, and was wearing a band from a village I didn't know about. Which isn't uncommon, as there are several small villages in this world. People only know the major ones.
"I will be on first guard watch; you girls get some sleep." One that looked to have light blondish and pink hair said to her teammates.
"Are you sure, Sora?" One asked her. I could tell that the one named Sora was the leader and looked to be the roughest injured one in the group as she spoke.
"We have our scroll now, and all we need to do is make it to the place in four days. I think pushing myself a little for guard duty isn't a bad thing right now. I want you two to be fully recovered first, so waiting four hours won't be an issue." Sora said.
"Really, don't worry, Kaede." Said Sora to a long-haired girl with a flower in her hair; she was blonde, with some kind of orange and red tips. Kaede nodded and sighed as the last one looked on in silence.
"You too, Kageko, don't worry. I am fine, we will get through this and make our small village proud." Sora said with a smile, making me smirk and wipe a tear away, as the bittersweet dreams of a child who dreams for the future crumble into dust.
They all looked to be around 15 years old as I watched the two girls move between the roots of a huge tree, with Sora watching. The twins had found a spot to sleep and hide about a mile away, so I let them get some sleep. I can go a few days without sleep, so it wasn't an issue for me right now.
As time went by, I waited for the two to fall asleep as I wove my hand signs, slowly making mist cover the area at first. Taking my time so Sora wouldn't think it was unusual until it was too late. "WAKE UP!" She yelled out.
"Too late," I said, showing up next to her as I sent a punch towards her face, only to hit her, and she burst into water. "Oh, a water clone. You are the first to avoid being knocked out by my first attack. I am liking you even better, Sora." I said as the other two quickly joined their team leader.
"You know me? Who are you?" She asked me as I smiled and nodded.
"I know you and your teammates, all of you have piqued my interest. My name is Kume Miko, and I am soon to be your husband." I said, smiling, making her look at me as she spoke.
"You attacked us out of this make-believe idea that I am going to be your wife." She said as I chuckled.
"Oh, it's not make-believe, it's going to happen like it or not, ladies. Soon, you three will be moaning, begging me to crave for my child." I said with a smile as I licked my lips. This made all three of them shiver as they could tell that at least I believed what I was saying.
Sora looked around, trying to find my teammates, but couldn't see in the mist, making me laugh as I spoke. "You don't have to worry, ladies. I am here by myself, and I wouldn't want anyone to get in the way of getting to know each other. It would be a shame to have a fifth wheel on our date, don't you think so?" I said.
She listened to me before looking at her teammates. This guy has a large ego. So odds are what he was telling her was the truth, she smirked. Thinking to herself, that this Kume was way too overconfident to think he could take the three of them on at his age.
"You shouldn't have come here alone then!" She yelled out, throwing a Kunai with a string of explosive tags attached as I weaved my hand signs. "Wind style! Wind dragon jutsu!" I yelled out, blowing the Kunai back at the girls, shocking them.
"DODGE!" Sora screamed out as they scattered just before the explosion, but it was close enough to send two of them flying as Sora rolled on the ground. I rushed towards the one who looked timed, Kageko.
She was trying to get off the ground as I began to throw a punch towards her, but she touched the ground quickly, making me jump back as an earth spike shot out of it towards me. Making me keep jumping until I was about 50 meters away from her, then the three girls regrouped.
I started to clap and speak. "Wonderful, I haven't met someone who isn't one of my women that could hold their how with me this long. You three are very talented, but your chakra pools don't look as if they have recovered yet. And after fighting all day, you girls only recovered half of it back." I said, looking at their information.
They looked at each other and knew they weren't in good shape. What shocked them was that they now looked at this Kume. He didn't have any signs of fighting on him.
"Ladies, I will show you something very special. It will make you gaze in wonder and amazement at its girth and size." I said, slowly taking off my shirt, making them bite their lips as Sora spoke.
"You wicked Pervert!" She yelled out.
But at that moment, my chakra burst out as a pale purpleish-green aura began to coat me, changing my skin into a pale white as three horns showed up on my head. One on each of my temples curving back towards the back of my head, and one smaller one on the top of my forehead, pointing up.
Purple markings began to spread from my eyes down half my cheeks as I opened my eyes, revealing black eyes with purple irises. "I was just talking about my Saga mode, swag. You nasty girls, is nothing but dick on your minds?" I said with a smirk as over a dozen large purple aura energy snakes moved around me.
"You three should feel honored. I was going to save this for later. But I think letting you taste it is a fitting reward." I said, taking a step towards them.
Sora and her teammates took a step back. They had never heard of Sage mode before, and they hadn't felt this powerful of chakra before. She knew they needed to get out of here, or it was over for them. But she had no idea how to do that without losing one of them.
She couldn't think of anything. For the first time, Sora felt completely helpless as her knees gave out and she fell. "SORA!" Her teammates screamed out as they stepped between her and me.
This was a good team, I thought. "You three want to be Chunin?" I asked, making Sora look at me as I smiled.
"I can let you girls become Chunin. But you have to accept my deal." I said this was a chance to get what they wanted, and that I would also get what I wanted. A win-win for both sides, as long as they are willing to accept.
"What are your terms?" Sora said.
