Chapter 1 - Prologue – The Last Breath of a Genius

The last thing I remembered was the sterile white of the laboratory ceiling. The fluorescent lights buzzed overhead, faint and irritating, as the smell of ozone and burned circuits lingered in the air. My mind, always so quick, so precise, was struggling to keep pace with reality as my body collapsed.

I had been careless. A miscalculation in my own experiment—how ironic. The man with an IQ of over 200, holder of multiple PhDs in physics, neuroscience, and engineering, felled not by some grand discovery or act of brilliance, but by a slip in the formula.

My vision dimmed. Thoughts raced faster than lightning: unfinished theories, books unread, anime never finished, the longing for worlds I could never reach.

If only I could see them for myself.

And then—darkness.

When I opened my eyes again, the world was not sterile, but vibrant. The damp scent of moss, the rustle of leaves overhead, and the quiet chirp of birds filled my senses. I wasn't in a lab. I wasn't even in my own body.

The weight of this new existence pressed down on me: long limbs, lean muscle, and an ache deep within my bones. A mirror wasn't needed. I already knew.

Sasuke Uchiha.

The name thundered through my skull, colliding with my own memories. Isaac—student of science, prodigy of the modern age. Sasuke—avenger, survivor, sinner of a shinobi world scarred by endless wars. Two lives, two identities, now entwined.

The pain was unbearable. Memories slammed into each other like colliding storms: my mother's smile from another lifetime, and Itachi's blood-stained eyes; classrooms filled with chalk dust, and the endless screams of battle. For hours, maybe days, I lay there in the forest, enduring the storm until only silence remained.

When I finally sat up, my hands trembled—but not with weakness. No, something deeper thrummed within me. My spirit burned hotter, brighter, as though two souls had fused into one flame.

And then—

[ Ding! ]

A voice, mechanical and ancient, echoed directly in my mind.

Welcome, User, to the Ace Gotcha System. You have been selected through convergence of two souls.Rewards are granted through fate, action, and proximity to places of significance.Spin the wheel of destiny?

My breath caught. A system. Just like in the stories I used to read, the games I used to play. Except this was no fantasy—it was real.

I swallowed hard, testing my voice, the timbre foreign yet familiar. "Spin."

The air shimmered, though only within my mind's eye. A great wheel spun, covered in strange icons—scrolls, weapons, bowls of food, even glowing symbols I didn't yet understand. Faster and faster it turned, until finally—

[ Congratulations! ]

You have received: Chakra Restoration Pill (x3).

Not a bloodline. Not a legendary weapon. Just medicine. Yet, even as I scoffed, something in me stirred—a scientist's curiosity, a shinobi's hunger.

If this was real, if every important place and encounter could grant me chances… then my path was limitless.

I clenched my hand into a fist, feeling the weight of dual memories, dual power, and a destiny unwritten.

I was no longer Isaac. I was no longer Sasuke.

I was something new.

And the world would tremble for it.
