Chapter 123 - Chapter 124 Hawk, Who Conquered the Nine Realms

Hawk spit out a mouthful of saliva onto the grass beside him.

He looked at Malekith, who was asking if he wanted to continue, and chuckled.

"Just warming up."

"Is that so?"

Malekith smiled slightly: "Are you done warming up now?"

Hawk smiled as well:

"Yes.!"

Just as he finished speaking, a phantom of a phoenix bathed in crimson flames was projected behind him.

The next second.

The phoenix phantom instantly took over, transforming into piece after piece, covering Hawk's body.

The piece with gorgeous feather patterns covering the shoulder armor, making it look even more realistic, collided with Hawk's left shoulder like a meteor in the churning flames.

With a metallic roar like stars colliding, it instantly embedded itself and perfectly fused with the Saint Cloth pieces that arrived at the same time.

Immediately afterwards, arm armor, leg armor, greaves countless pieces shining with the golden light of fire, as if they had a life of their own, shot out from the flames.

Precisely, continuously, and seamlessly, they were inlaid and integrated with every part of Hawk's body.

Just as the last piece of the visor, gleaming with phoenix fire, clicked and fit perfectly over Hawk's expressionless, cold face,

Hawk finished speaking.

"Lightning!"

"Sonic Fist—"

The moment his right fist swung out, accompanied by the cry of a phoenix, a flurry of fist shadows arrived before Malekith in the blink of an eye.

*Thud.*

Malekith's right cheek was struck by the fist, his head tilting to the left, creating a ripple visible to the naked eye.

Then, Malekith was also sent flying, crashing into the wall built by the London government for Stonehenge with a deafening roar.

Malekith landed on the ground, creating a crater in the grass.

Mud and rocks flew everywhere.

Smoke billowed.

Peter, crouching on a stone at Stonehenge, stared wide-eyed at Hawk, who was covered in golden light and had golden wings.

But he was even more astonished when he saw Hawke stretch out his hands, remove a pair of wings from his back, and toss them aside.

After discarding these currently impractical, decorative wings, Hawke stretched his neck in the sudden downpour.

His inner universe was burning fiercely at a critical point.

The next second,Hawke's figure left an afterimage in place, almost appearing above Malekith's head the instant Malekith crashed into the ground, his right fist, wreathed in crimson flames, swung down at Malekith again.

Boom, boom, boom, boom—the earth trembled amidst the deafening explosions and billowing dust.

The London Earthquake Monitoring Centre's systems emitted abnormal alarms.

Peter's eyes lit up.

"Is that all?"

"Hehehe!"

Just as Peter was thinking this, Malekith's perfectly villainous laughter echoed from the dust.

"Little guy."

"I must admit, I misjudged you."

As a villain from the same era as God-King Boul, Malekith calling Hawke "little guy" was perfectly appropriate.

The dust quickly dissipated under the sudden downpour.

Malekith's figure reappeared in Hawke's sight.

He came into view.

His clothes were slightly dirty.

Malekith was surrounded by a transparent barrier formed from dark red ether particles.

His pale pupils stared at Hawke, who was wearing his Saint Cloth.

"Your energy is indeed formidable."

"Unfortunately, it doesn't belong to this universe."

"Therefore, you need Aether particles to maintain the reality of your energy."

"But by doing so, you can't use the Aether particles for other interesting things."

"And I can sense that you don't seem to have complete control over this realityized energy!"

"This reminds me of another little guy."

"Thor."

Everyone knows.

Thor, the God of Thunder?

No.

Thor, the Hammer God.

"So."

"Last chance."

Malekith, sensing the approaching aura of the other little guy and the approaching critical point of the Nine Realms' convergence, lost his patience and looked at Hawk.

"Hand over the Aether particles, and I'll spare your life."

"I refuse."

Hawk's answer was crisp and decisive.

Hearing this, Malekith stopped speaking, and the moment his smile vanished, he appeared before Hawk in the blink of an eye.

Boom!

Accompanied by a punch mixed with dark red energy from the Aether particles, it slammed into Hawk's mask.

The mask cracked with a cracking sound.

Just one punch.

Hawk's mask shattered.

The next second.

Boom!

Malekith, enveloped in Aether particles, slammed Hawke into Stonehenge, the combined energy of the Nine Realms sweeping through.

Instantly,Hawke and Malekith vanished from Stonehenge.

Peter, perched atop a Stonehenge pillar, stared in disbelief at Hawke's sudden disappearance.

Instinctively, he jumped down from the pillar, standing where Hawke had vanished.

And then.

That was it.

The wailing of sirens blared from nearby, rapidly approaching, while Hawk and Malekith seemed to have vanished completely.

Peter was stunned.

Just then,"Malekith, come out and face your death!"

"Boom!"

With a thunderous roar amidst the torrential rain, Thor, clad in his battle armor and wielding Mjolnir, descended from the sky.

Thor, expressionless, stared at Peter, who was also slightly taken aback.

"Malekith?"

"No."

Peter, looking at the abruptly appearing Thor, instinctively shook his head, then pointed to the spot where Hawk and Malekith had just disappeared, saying, "They were just here a moment ago, and suddenly they vanished with my friends."

Thor's voice was the deep, resonant voice that even a superhero with a demigod's body, comparable to a mortal, envied.

He listened to Peter's words, nodded, and explained, "That was a spatial ripple caused by the convergence of the Nine Realms."

Peter frowned.

"When will they be back?"

"I don't know."

"What?"

"The Nine Realms Converge only happens once every few thousand years. I wasn't even born the last time."

"What do we do now?"

"I don't know."

Thor's answer was straightforward.

He had come here to protect Hawk from Malekith after his girlfriend Jane mentioned that a human named Hawk also possessed the Aether.

He wanted to prevent Malekith from taking Hawk's Aether.

As long as Malekith couldn't obtain Hawk's Aether, and as long as they could hold out until the eight minutes of the Nine Realms Convergence, even if Malekith obtained the Reality Stone, he wouldn't be a threat to the Nine Realms.

He had originally planned to come to Earth last night.

But his mother, the Queen of Asgard, had died, and he had to attend her funeral, so he was late.

And he really was late.

The Nine Realms Convergence was about to begin, and during this time, Heimdall's Eyes, which could see anywhere in the Nine Realms, were temporarily disabled.

So, after saying that, Thor didn't know what to say.

Their eyes met.

For a moment, the atmosphere became somewhat awkward.

Meanwhile, on Jotunheim, one of the Nine Realms, a completely different scene unfolded.

This was the realm of the Frost Giants, a harsh and desolate environment filled with snow-covered mountains, glaciers, and forests.

Boom!

Hawke and Malekith, brought here by the spatial ripples created during the Nine Realms' convergence, were locked in fierce combat.

Icebergs were constantly cracking.

The ice surface was also constantly fissuring.

The two fought almost from icebergs to ice surfaces, then from frozen mountains to icy forests.

Calling it a fierce battle wasn't entirely accurate.

Because

Hawke was almost entirely on the defensive by Malekith, and if it weren't for his constantly burning cosmos, he would probably have been defeated long ago.

Although he wasn't defeated yet, he was in a bad state.

Hawke's Phoenix Cloth was now covered in dense cracks.

His mask had already been shattered by Malekith.

Again Hawke's current armor looks golden, much like a Gold Cloth, but it's really just for show.

Moreover he's already using his Aether to materialize his own cosmos.

Malekith also possesses Aether, and initially, Hawke, with his vibranium-forged armor's ability to absorb all kinetic energy, could hold his own against Malekith.

But after Malekith realized Hawke's armor was made of vibranium, the situation changed.

Vibranium might be the most powerful metal on Earth, but it's not the strongest in the universe.

That title belongs to Thanos, whose 'Uru metal' sword, resembling an airplane propeller, cleaved Captain America's vibranium shield in three strikes.

And Malekith, who has lived for thousands of years and still possesses Aether, is even more formidable.

After Malekith realized this, his attacks took a different turn.

But!

Hawke didn't back down at all; even if he was being overwhelmed, he would fight back—that was his motto.

"Go ahead and kill me if you dare!"

"Fine!"

Malekith, ruthless and taciturn, once again dragged Hawke down towards the ancient ice below.

But just as they were about to touch the ice,the spatial ripples of the Nine Realms converged again, and with a whoosh, Hawke and Malekith vanished without a trace once more.

Standing at a distance, the Frost Giants, watching from afar, stared at each other in bewilderment as the two suddenly appeared, destroyed their home, and then vanished just as suddenly.

The next second.

"Odin!!"

"Asgard!!!"

Don't ask them why they blamed Asgard and Odin; the answer is that Odin stole their Frost Giant race's most precious treasure, the 'Box of Ice'.

Earth.

Stonehenge.

Peter, who originally intended to leave, didn't leave because of Thor's arrival and stayed with Thor, who hadn't left either.

Thor, hefting his hammer and sensing the slightly awkward atmosphere, glanced at the London police officer who had tried to enter but was scared away, coughed, and looked at Peter, saying, "Jane told me Hawke saved her, so Hawke is also my friend."

Peter glanced at Thor, hummed in agreement, and then fell silent.

Spider-Man is a chatterbox.

But Spider-Woman isn't!
