Chapter 181 - Chapter 181 Tutorial Classroom Battle

"Helen of Troy."

Chloe, who was listening nearby, raised her hand and said.

"Uh, yes, Helen of Troy. She was a beauty who caused conflict between two nations, uh…"

Before he could finish speaking, Dikes covered his chest and started coughing again.

"Teacher Dikes, are you alright?"

Lana stood up and asked him with concern.

"Ugh!"

Before Lana could finish her sentence, Dikes suddenly spat out a pool of yellow substance from his mouth.

The thick yellow substance was likely paint commonly used in oil painting.

Startled by the paint he spat out, Lana shrieked and recoiled.

Chloe, who was nearby, immediately reached out and caught Lana, who almost fell.

"Ugh!"

Dikes, coughing violently while clutching his throat, spat out another pool of blue paint onto the desk.

The yellow and blue paints intertwined on the desk, forming a strange oil painting.

Everyone was incredibly surprised by his behavior. They stood up and fearfully backed away.

Eric, however, watched Dikes, who was continuously spitting out paint, with a solemn expression.

After spitting out the paint from his mouth, Dikes's eyes glowed with an eerie light. He picked up an oil paint brush from the desk, dipped it in the paint he had just spat out, and began to paint on the blackboard.

With eerie brushstrokes, he quickly outlined a giant eye with thick lines.

After finishing on the blackboard, he started scribbling and drawing randomly on the wall with the paintbrush, appearing to have completely lost his mind.

"What's… what's wrong with him, Eric?"

Clark frowned, cautiously wary of the other, and asked Eric.

"It's obvious."

Eric's eyes showed a cold expression, "He's possessed."

"Possessed?!"

Clark's eyes flashed with a hint of tension when he heard that word. "Is it Devourer of Heaven?"

"It looks like it."

Eric frowned, activated his super speed, and in the next second, stood in front of Dikes.

The Star Scepter in Clark's backpack instantly flew into his hand. He aimed it at Dikes, who was drawing a very "disgusting" oil painting, and directly swung the Star Scepter.

A powerful beam of light directly struck Dikes's chest, blasting him away.

With a thud, Dikes's body hit the wall heavily, then slowly slid down.

The students below hadn't reacted yet. They only saw a strong beam of light flash before their eyes, followed by Dikes being knocked away, hitting the wall hard, and then sliding down the wall.

Eric, meanwhile, stood where Dikes had been, his eyes glinting with a cold gaze.

"Er-Eric!"

Watching Eric strike Dikes away with one blow, Lana's eyes were filled with an expression of disbelief.

The other students, unaware of the situation, only saw Eric casually wave his hand and knock the strangely behaving Dikes unconscious, instantly filled with dread.

"Cough!"

Coughing, Dikes stood up. The insane look in his eyes had not disappeared. Instead, he let out a monster-like roar and charged towards Eric.

"The light of the Star Scepter still can't dispel the darkness on him?"

Eric shook his head. The moment the other charged, he grabbed Teacher Dikes by the neck and twisted hard.

Crack!

Teacher Dikes, roaring and behaving strangely, had his neck snapped by Eric.

His head lolled to the side, and he collapsed directly onto the floor.

The classroom was deathly silent!

Everyone stared at Eric unblinkingly, as if they had seen something incredible.

Eric killed Teacher Dikes?!

This thought echoed in the minds of everyone who witnessed the scene.

The terrified students who had come for tutoring were all frozen in place, not daring to move, fearing that Eric, in his frenzy, would attack them directly.

Incomprehensible emotions directly occupied everyone's minds. Fear, dread, and incomprehension, like maggots on bones, tightly entangled their hearts, making it impossible for them to breathe.

The oil painting on the blackboard, which Teacher Dikes had outlined with thick lines, resembling an eye and even more like an indescribable random doodle, suddenly moved.

A viscous substance, like chocolate sauce, moved along with the oil painting.

And from within the oil painting came countless heart-pounding roars, as if an ancient terror was about to emerge from within.

First, a face appeared on the flowing lines of the oil painting, and then the faces sealed inside continuously wriggled outwards.

As it wriggled its head out, it let out heart-pounding roars.

At the same time, a strong wind swept through the classroom!

Overwhelmed by this terrifying and horrifying aura, the students continuously recoiled, letting out screams of fright.

Unable to break free from the oil painting on the blackboard, the lines on the blackboard began to move, coalescing into a tumor-like substance that continuously extended along the ceiling.

"Oh my god! What the hell is this thing?!"

Chloe looked at the terrifying entity before her, her eyes filled with dread.

Before the tumor-like thing could extend from the ceiling, Chloe immediately ran to the back door, ready to push it open and leave this hellish place.

Lana, calling out to Eric and Clark, quickly followed Chloe, preparing to open the door first.

Thump! Thump! Thump!

As the strong wind blew through the classroom, all the simple storage cabinets on the walls opened.

The sudden appearance of images on the storage cabinets made Chloe stumble back in shock.

Because the scene depicted on them was her own mother, her mother who was confined in a mental hospital.

"Chloe, you betrayed me!"

Her mother in the portrait, with disheveled hair, looked at her and said, "You saw me. You always knew I was in the mental hospital, but you never visited me. You cursed me to be locked in the mental hospital forever. You wished I would never appear in your life."

Chloe's mother, with dark, hollow eyes, roared at her, "That's impossible! You'll never get rid of me! Because I am the future you. You will spend the rest of your life in this cold mental hospital just like me! I am you, and you are me, Chloe! You can never escape me!"

"No! No! No!"

Chloe clutched her head and continuously retreated, her eyes filled with extreme terror.

Meanwhile, Lana, too, saw her greatest fear in the opened storage cabinet.

Her Aunt Neil, with festering, blood-stained hands, looked at her and said, "Lana, the biggest regret of my life was adopting you. You ruined my life, yet you never brought me any happiness. I should have had my own career, and it's all because of you, you orphan! You completely destroyed my career and my life!"

"Look at what you've done! You disappoint me. I've never been so disappointed in anyone before, and now you've done it! You—you are indecisive and only drag others down. You can't even tell the person you like that you like them, or tell the person you should have broken up with that it's over. I've always seen your hypocritical face. I'm sick of everything about you!"

Lana, retreating step by step, attacked by "Niel's" heartbreaking words, completely broke down emotionally and collapsed to the ground, crying.

On the other side, the students, whose hearts were gripped by fear, saw Eric, his eyes glinting with evil, bloodthirsty light, charging towards them.

"Welcome to hell!"

Eric, letting out a chilling sound from his mouth, raised his fist at the students.

The entire classroom plunged into chaos.

Only Eric, who was "cursed" by Hecate, and Clark, who had re-gripped the Cosmic Scepter, remained unaffected and uninfluenced by the illusions conjured by Devourer of Heaven.

Although the illusions seen by Lana, Chloe, and others could not affect the two, the tumor-like substance continuously extending from the ceiling was a tangible presence.

Looking at the two girls collapsed on the ground, crying hysterically, and the other students wrestling in a heap, Clark nervously looked at Eric.

"Eric, what should we do?"

"We'll deal with it!"

Eric shot a beam of Heat Vision laser from his eyes, aiming it at the tumor-like monster on the ceiling.

Sizzle!

The Heat Vision instantly pierced through the black, continuously surging tumor, then penetrated the ceiling with undiminished force.

"Crash!"

The severed black tumor, along with parts of the ceiling structure, crashed down.

Seeing Eric's action, Clark immediately shot Heat Vision from his eyes, aiming it at the continuously moving black tumor on the ceiling.

The rapidly moving and constantly expanding, contracting, and wriggling tumor dodged Clark's Heat Vision attack and moved directly to the corridor ceiling outside the classroom.

Thump!

Eric activated super speed, instantly moving into the corridor outside.

The black tumor moved even faster, shouting as it moved.

"I saw everything!"

"I saw everything!"

Whoosh!

A gust of wind blew past. Eric instantly activated his super speed and chased after the other.

Clark also followed closely behind.

Following the aura, Eric found that the substance he was tracking had an increasingly faint presence.

Frowning, he immediately stopped.

"Is it a disguised lure?"

Thinking this, he immediately returned to the classroom.

Under the enhancement of the night, even if he toured the entire teaching building, it would not take a single breath of time.

Just as he activated his super speed, Eric returned to the classroom, looking at Teacher Dikes, who was now covered in black substance, like a bloated version of "Venom."

"Venom"—Dikes, wobbling and staggering to his feet from the ground, his eyes filled with a crazed expression.

"Your power is truly incredible!"

After personally witnessing Eric's speed and the laser beams emitted from his eyes, "Dikes's" eyes glowed with an even more frantic light.

"And you!"

Saying this, he turned his gaze to Clark's body, who had arrived afterward.

"You are beings that do not belong to this world, just like me. I was born in Shadow Land, and you were born in an unknown place. We are similar types of existences."

"Oh really?"

Eric's lips curled into a cold sneer. "I'm very interested in creatures like you. Perhaps I can keep you in an experimental apparatus and a petri dish to observe your growth."

Saying this, he immediately shot a beam of Heat Vision, aiming it at Dikes, who was completely covered in the tumor-like black substance, and with a bang, blasted him against the wall.

At the same time, Clark shot Heat Vision from his eyes, and both beams of Heat Vision struck the other's body simultaneously.

As both of them fired their Heat Vision, Eric reached out and retrieved the Star Scepter, firing a beam of light from the Star Scepter towards Devourer of Heaven.

Three beams of energy with strong light characteristics struck Dikes's body, rapidly dissolving most of the black tumor on his body.
