After finally replacing the flat tire, Alice and Lucy were back on the road, but they were running late. "We need coffee!" Lucy declared, her eyes wide with desperation. "I can't function without caffeine!"
They pulled into the nearest coffee shop, a trendy place with a long line. As they waited, Alice's anxiety grew. "We're going to miss the competition!" she fretted.
"Relax! We'll be fine," Lucy said, trying to reassure her. But as they reached the counter, disaster struck. Alice accidentally knocked over a stack of cups, sending them crashing to the floor.
"Oops!" she exclaimed, her face turning crimson.
The barista glared at them, and Lucy couldn't help but laugh. "This is just the beginning of our unsuccessful day!"
After finally getting their coffee, they rushed back to the car, only to find that they had spilled half of it on the seats. "Great! Now we're going to smell like a coffee shop!" Alice groaned.
As they sped off, they couldn't shake the feeling that their day was only going to get worse. The competition was looming, and they were already off to a rocky start.
