On a sunny day, Ash, with his partner Pikachu, and Xiao You embarked on a journey to Pewter City. They followed the winding path and unknowingly arrived at Viridian Forest, a necessary stop on their route.

At noon, Ash and Xiao You found a scenic clearing in the forest and decided to enjoy their lunch. Xiao You had carefully prepared a sumptuous meal, including sandwiches for themselves and special treats for their Pokémon.

"Wow, it's a Shinny Pidgey!" Xiao You gasped, covering her mouth.

"Pidgey, dodge!" Xiao You couldn't help but shout for the golden Pidgey. But unfortunately, Pidgey couldn't dodge in time and was hit by the lightning once more. After several fierce rounds of battle, Pidgey gradually succumbed to Pikachu, eventually losing its ability to battle and falling from the sky.
Ash unhesitatingly pulled out a Poké Ball. A red light flashed, and the Poké Ball accurately struck the golden Pidgey. The Poké Ball shook a few times, and with a "click," it successfully captured the golden Pidgey.
Ash happily picked up the Poké Ball and said, "Great, I successfully caught it!" He used the power of the Meadow Plate within him to heal Pidgey, then took out some Pokémon food, placed it on the ground, and opened the Poké Ball to release Pidgey.

"Weedle, hold on!" the Bug Catcher shouted.
"Pidgey, Encore Wing Attack!" Ash pressed his advantage.
The golden Pidgey attacked again. Weedle was knocked back repeatedly and quickly lost its ability to battle.
"Hmph, you have some skill, but this is just the beginning! Come out, Metapod!" The Bug Catcher, unwilling to admit defeat, sent out his next Pokémon.
Metapod's hard shell gleamed with a metallic luster in the sunlight.
"Pidgey, use Air Cutter!" Ash shouted.
The golden Pidgey flew into the air, rapidly flapping its wings, sending out sharp Air Cutters towards Metapod. The Air Cutters were incredibly powerful, making "bang bang" sounds as they hit Metapod.
"Metapod, use Iron Defense!" the Bug Catcher nervously commanded.
Metapod's armor shimmered with a white light, strengthening its physical defense, attempting to resist the Air Cutter attacks. But the Air Cutter attacks were so fierce that cracks gradually appeared on Metapod's shell.
"Pidgey, Steel Wing!" Ash seized the opportunity and gave a new command.
The golden Pidgey's wings instantly became as hard as steel, gleaming with a metallic cold light. It charged at Metapod at high speed, its Steel Wing slamming heavily into Metapod.

The golden Pidgey nimbly flipped in the air, cleverly avoiding the Fury Cutter attacks, then, with extreme speed, turned back and charged towards Scyther. The Aerial Ace skill was astonishingly powerful; the golden Pidgey's body was like a golden lightning bolt, slamming heavily into Scyther.
Scyther was shaken by the impact but quickly regained its balance, once again swinging its scythes to attack Pidgey.
"Pidgey, use Air Cutter and Steel Wing together!" Ash shouted.
The golden Pidgey rapidly flapped its wings in the air, releasing streaks of Air Cutter, while simultaneously its wings became as hard as steel. Air Cutter and Steel Wing combined to form a powerful attack.
Although Scyther tried its best to resist, it was ultimately no match and lost its ability to battle after being hit by the attacks.
The Bug Catcher looked dejected. He hadn't expected all three of his Pokémon to be easily defeated by Ash's Pidgey.
Ash smiled and said, "It's okay, Pokémon battles are like that, sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. And your Pokémon all tried very hard!"
The Bug Catcher looked up at Ash, a hint of admiration in his eyes: "You are indeed very strong, I am thoroughly defeated. I will continue to train my Pokémon diligently!"
"Keep it up! I'm sure you'll be even stronger next time!" Ash encouraged him.

Ash frowned and said firmly, "We'll help! We can't let those bad guys succeed!"
Xiao You also nodded: "That's right, we'll rescue the Pokémon together!"
Ash sent out Pikachu and the golden Pidgey, and Xiao You also sent out her Pokémon. They followed the Bug-type Pokémon to the evil organization's base. This base was hidden deep in the forest, surrounded by traps.
"Everyone, watch out for traps!" Ash reminded them.
