Amyra day started with headache and she knew it will definitely end with one.When her sisters manager call came in she knew the day couldn't end well but what was she to do, reject the call,that is definitely not possible.She made a promise to her mother to always support her sisters no matter what and she has upholded the promise since she died.
She stood up from her bed and dragged herself to the bathroom to perform her daily routine although she rushed it this time around so as not to be late.Twenty minutes later she came out of the bathroom and quickly picked a blue jean and pink t-shirt which she finds very comfy,she paired it with a black sandal June gave her as a birthday gift.
She came out of her house few minutes later chomping on an apple
"Good morning Tanya"she called out to her neighbour who came out to throw out her garbage.
"A lovely morning to you too,I thought you were going to be sleeping in with the fever you had yesterday"she asked confusingly
"I have some things to round up at Lisa's place"
"Oh,so you are coming back to rest after right?"Tanya asked in a not so asking manner.
Amyra twisted the edge of her clothes,she knew the older woman was looking out for her because she was the one who took care of her yesterday night when she came down with a fever and none of her sisters could come over to her place,but she really had to deliver the clothes she was holding to Lisa because she has a shoot for an advert that morning.
"Tanya,I would really love to come back home instantly but as long as Lisa's manager sees me you know I won't have any other choice than to just go to the company,she is a great snitch and will definitely tell on me that I'm intentionally skipping work"She explained with a great sign
Tanya moved closer to her and held her hand, being a mother of two teenagers has taught her a lot on how to handle some cases and she knew Amyra own was a very special one "Why don't you just tell your sister to come pick up this dress,you were doing some finishing on this dress when I came over yesterday despite not feeling well.You have to prioritize yourself at some point you know"she said and looked into her eyes to try and convince her
Amyra removed her hand begrudgingly and gave her a quick hug "I promise you I will take a break after lunch today "she raised her pinky up to stamp the promise
"What are you,a two year hold "Tanya scrunched up her face but still accepted the pinky promise with a sill grin on both their faces
Amyra walked quickly to her car and got into the driver's seat but not before making sure the dress was neatly hanged at the back of the car.She drove out of her driveway while waving to Tanya.
