The morning sun shone through the broken wall, illuminating the dark room with its golden orange rays.
Against the glow, Ishiki looked like a dark shadow. He was not hurt thankfully, Divine blood had formed a protective layer just before he hit the wall. Though it still hurt because the impact was transferred to his body.
"You are a nuisance even after your fingers are torn." A relatively unknown voice prompted.
As the dust, that rose as a result of the wall falling cleared. A tall and muscular man was visible crouching besides the corpses of the guards that Ishiki had killed.
His face, adorned with large moustaches, twisted into disgust and carefully hidden anger.
"How could you be so cruel?" The guard asked, as tears dropped from his eyes. "But, fair. It only proves that the outsiders are Demons. Humanity beyond the mountains is indeed dead and only hideous shadows of humanity like you remain."
