For three days and nights, David worked on his newfound technique.
The constant change in his surroundings was jarring both his focus and his balance. One moment he would be looking at everything normally and the next second, the world would be obscured in darkness.
Adjusting to this change was proving to be a challenge to David. He would take a deep breath, try to look at the same scenery for a while. As if memorising every non-thing thing he could see.
Then he would activate his Vision and start swinging his sword. The first time he tried that, he had accidentally struck his sword deep into the ground as he stumbled for balance. And just like that, he no longer had any idea of which direction he was facing at.
