"What the—?" Yō blinked. The mission prompt popped in his head before he could even process it.

Then the answer arrived with a bang.

BOOM!

The rotten front door of his shack exploded inward, wood splinters scattering through a cloud of dust.

A sneering Uchiha swaggered in, face twisted with arrogance.

"Oi, Natsume Yō! Time to pay protection money!"

He kicked over a table, shattered pottery with a swipe, and turned the fragile shack into wreckage. Yō's little mutt yelped—then was crushed beneath the intruder's boot, blood staining the dirt floor. Even the small vegetable patch out front was trampled without care.

"Uchiha Jun'yi—stop it right now!" Yō stormed out, eyes blazing as he took in the carnage.

"Ohh? The little loser finally crawls out." Jun'yi turned, smirking, though his hands never stopped smashing Yō's belongings. "Stop me? Hah! Do you even know who you're talking to?"

"I said…" Yō's voice sharpened like a blade. He lunged, his leg whipping out in a furious kick. "…STOP!"

BAM!

Their shins collided with a crack of impact, the shock forcing both boys back several steps. Jun'yi sneered. He wasn't a genius of the clan, but he had enough strength to bully an orphan.

But this time—

"Jun'yi, don't mistake my silence for fear. You've been pushing me around again and again… today, I'm done holding back!"

The system had given him the Lion Combo, a taijutsu string that could overwhelm someone like Jun'yi even without full chakra.

"Lion Combo!"

In a blur, Yō closed the gap. Jun'yi flinched, stepping back—too late. Yō's kick snapped up into his jaw.

CRACK!

Jun'yi's body launched backward, slammed against the wall, and he staggered up clutching his chest, wheezing. "You bastard!"

He roared and charged, fist cocked for Yō's face.

But Yō didn't dodge. He met fist with fist.

THUD!

Jun'yi spat blood as he was sent flying again, disbelief flashing in his eyes. "No… no way! When did this trash get so strong? Damn it, I'll just retreat for now—bring backup later. Then let's see if you still dare act tough!"

He spun toward the door.

"Heh. Run? Not that easy."

Yō shot forward like a loosed arrow, cutting him off at the exit. His fist drove straight into Jun'yi's nose.

CRUNCH!

"GYAAH!" Jun'yi howled, clutching his face as blood poured. His senses swam, sour, salty, and metallic all mixing like a broken pantry jar.

"You thought I was easy prey, huh? Keep pushing and pushing, thinking I'd stay your punching bag?" Yō's voice dropped into a growl. He tackled Jun'yi to the ground, mounted him, and began raining fists.

BAM! BAM! BAM!

Each strike smashed into the Uchiha's face, swelling it into an unrecognizable mess. The arrogance that had filled the room moments ago was gone, replaced with broken whimpers.

"Stop—stop! Please! I yield! Natsume Yō, I swear I'll never do it again!"

Yō's fists didn't slow. If anything, they came down harder, each one punctuating his fury.

"Mercy! I beg you!" Jun'yi's voice cracked into pitiful sobs, his pride shattered.

At last, the Stray of Konoha had bared his fangs.
