Chapter 1 - Chapter 1

Konoha Year 46.The era of endless wars.

In a half-collapsed shack on the village outskirts, a boy sat on the wooden floor, his cheeks bruised and his expression dark.

"It's been over a year since I ended up in this world… and I still haven't achieved a damn thing. Aren't transmigrators supposed to get cheats? Where's mine?" Natsume Yō sighed heavily, looking every bit the frustrated ten-year-old. "I don't even need some crazy overpowered golden finger. Just give me a system, any system at all!"

And then—

Ding!

World Mission System binding complete!Main Quest unlocked: World Peace.Side Quest unlocked: Stand Above the Rest. Accept?

"…What?!"

Yō froze, then a grin slowly spread across his face. "Wait, wait, wait… did I just wish this into existence? Talk about instant karma in my favor."

He rubbed his temples, still processing the sudden voice in his head. "But hold up. Before I click 'Accept,' don't you think you should explain what the hell this 'World Mission System' even is?"

The cold, mechanical voice echoed in his mind:

As the name suggests, the host will traverse countless worlds, taking on missions assigned by the system. By completing them, you will grow stronger. When the current world's tasks are done, you will travel to another… until you unlock the Final Mission.Failure to continue before completing the Final Mission will result in host's termination.

"Termination?! Damn, straight to the death penalty? That's harsh…" Yō's scalp prickled.

This is no free lunch. The system and host exchange on equal terms. If you refuse, the contract ends immediately, and all memory of the system will be erased.

"Wait wait wait—don't do that! I was just kidding! No need to get trigger-happy!" Yō flailed in his own head. A golden finger finally appeared, and he'd be a fool to throw it away.

The system continued calmly:

The system can read this world's data and synthesize basic ninjutsu and special techniques. With coins, you may purchase from the shop. Accumulate enough EXP, and you can break into the next realm of power.

"Special techniques? Like what?"

Bloodline Limits, secret arts, divine weapons. If conditions are met, the system can synthesize them and guide you through mastery.

"…Heh. Now we're talking." Yō nodded, excitement creeping into his chest.

Do you have further questions, host?

"For now? Nope. I'll ask later if I get confused."

Beginner's Package delivered. Please check inventory.

And then—

Ding!

Congratulations, host has obtained: E-rank Ninjutsu: Clone Technique; D-rank Ninjutsu: Paralysis Jutsu; 10 Explosive Tags; Taijutsu: Lion Combo; Chakra Refinement Method; Genin EXP pack.

Yō's heart pounded. "Now that's a starter kit. Finally, I've got something to fight back with. No more playing bottom-feeder… those bastards who bullied me are in for a shock."

Back in his original life, Natsume Yō had been nothing more than an ordinary graduate in Shenlong Country, killed in a car accident. He'd woken up here, in the bloody shinobi world of Naruto. Orphaned since childhood, left with nothing but this crumbling house, he had lived as prey for stronger children.

But Yō knew exactly what kind of world he was in. A world where weakness meant death. Where even children could be turned into soldiers and slaughtered in war. If he stayed powerless, he'd die like cannon fodder, forgotten and meaningless.

"To escape that fate, I need strength. Enough to seize my own life with my own hands."

His gaze sharpened. "Alright then… let's get started."

With chakra, he would step out of mediocrity and claim the right to stand as a true shinobi.

He immediately opened the mental scroll labeled Chakra Refinement Method.

"Chakra," it read, "is energy drawn from the trillions of cells within the body, fused from both physical and spiritual power."

A concise explanation, and the key to everything.

Yō shut his eyes, breathing slowly, ready to refine chakra for the very first time.

But fate, as always, never made things so simple.

Whenever you truly wanted to achieve something… the world seemed hellbent on throwing obstacles in your way.
