When the door burst opened, Victoria clicked her tongue.
Her head was pressed on her hand, staring down on the walnut table before she raised her face, looking at her sibling who was smiling. He was donning a smile but Victoria who had known him for a very long time knew well that this was perhaps the first time she could ever feel such lividness coming from Hades.
If usually he was "displeased", right now he was livid.
The guard behind him immediately flew from his spot once the door opened and though some of the elders on the table clicked their tongue, cursing that said guard, Hades let him escape as a whimsical mercy.
"Victoria, you should have told them that I will come," he announced while looking at her. Those purple gaze locked coldly straight at her and he could tell that immediately rose the flight or fight response from his sister who immediately crushed the table she was holding on.
