"We should get going.We smell like lake."He says.
"What does the lake smell like?"
"Like lake!"He laughs giving me a 'duh' expression.
Our drive back home was even better than the drive to the lake.
You can never go wrong with Drake throwbacks,your favorite sweets and person being in the same space.
When we arrive,Danniel tells me he has to go 'do something' and that he'd be back in time to take me out for dinner.
I don't think much of it until I'm all alone watching television.
He's being all suspicious again.I probably shouldn't ask because something tells me I don't want to know the answer.
*Phone rings.*
"Hello?"
"Hey Cals!Guess what!?"
"What?"I laugh.
"I'm going to LA university!"
"Oh my goodness Lissa that's your dream!Congratulations!I can't wait to tell mom and Danny!They will be so proud of you!"
I love when she achieves her goals or when her dreams come true!
"Thank you so much!I just thought I'd let you know now because if I didn't say anything now,I would've forgotten."
I can't help but smile.
"You're so welcome."
We then exchange goodbyes and I head to the shower.
I still smell like 'lake'.
After my shower,I head to my room to get dressed.After wearing my underwear I realize I forgot my phone in the bathroom so I run out to go get it.
When I enter my room,Xavier is sitting on my bed facing the door.
I nearly have a heart attack due to shock.
"Xavier what are you doing here?How'd you get in?"
Must have forgotten to lock the door again.
He shyly looks up,trying not to look at my half naked body.That's when I realize I'm still in my underwear.
"Oh my f..."I pick up my towel and wrap it around myself.
How embarrassing.
Not everyone is Danniel Cali.
"Uhm...sorry.If I had known you weren't dressed I wouldn't have...I'm sorry."
I can tell he genuinely feels bad so I decide not to make this more awkward that it already is.
"No no it's okay.I'll just quickly go get dressed in the closet.I'll be right out." I smile at an attempt of not making things weird and it works because he returns it.
I decide to put on jeans and a noodle strap top with fluffy slippers that match my pants.I then put my hair in a neat low bun and put on small hoop earrings.
"Wow you look beautiful.Simple but gorgeous."
"Thank you so much."I can't help but blush.
"Wow..."
He doesn't stop starring.
It's making me nervous.
"So what are you really doing here?"
"Well...what are your plans for the rest of the day Cali?"
