Main Characters
- Teng Hou Ren: In this timeline, Hou is a 12 year old boy who enjoys playing all sorts of different games. Sure he can be dumbfounded at times, but his happy go lucky spirit remains strong as ever. When it comes to new ideas, his creativity sparks as well.
- Gargantua Dragon: Proudly known as the "Deity Of Combat" and Hou Ren's buddy monster. Nicknamed "Garga" and a loyal friend to his buddy. He has the ability to fight in all different worlds and his swordsmanship skills is no exception.
- Garcat, Gardog and Garbird: Proudly known as the "Gar Trio". Don't let their size fool you as these three are quite strong. The difference is that Garcat is wild and agile, Gardog is intelligent and calm and Garbird is mostly asleep.
- Daryl Hoshino & Cross Astrologia: Proudly known as the "Ace Of Study". It's said that among his classmates, his smarts and intellect is not to be underestimated. Top of the class, usually calm. The two fight together in sync. His world is Star Dragon World.
- Masato Rikuo & Agito: Proudly known as the "Ace Of Sports". His skills in sports are no exception. The two are tend to be compassionate and Masato tends to end things with "For Share". Their World is Ancient World.
Side Characters:
- Ion Nanana & Takokichi: Hou's childhood friend and a member of the school's commentary Club. As they are the main commentators, They tend to give out their all and talk a lot during matches. Their world is Hero World.
- Tasuku Ryuenji and Light Kurouzu: While Light is part of the Buddy Police, Tasuku serves as the Commisioner Of The Buddy Police. While Tasuku fights for Star Dragon World, Light fights for Darkness Dragon World.
- Ranma Kakogawa: Ranma is Hou's best friend. The two of them are also friendly rivals. They host a video channel called "Whaddup Pals". Ranma's vast knowledge in Buddyfight is no exception. His world is Dragon World.
