Chapter 1 - In The bluest of the Sea-Prolouge

I was hated by the other kids my age for being different. It wouldn't be like this if my parents didn't die while protecting me.

Every time I approached a kid, I always get yelled at by the same words—

"Go away, orphan!"

...

Children do really not have any filters when saying what they have in their mind. At home, it was no different—my useless uncle lived in our own house like it was his in the first place and is always drunk and smoking. I couldn't handle the odour every time I faced him, it made me want to throw up.

My life will continue like this until I grow up

Or so I thought.

After school, I always walked on the same path in our neighbourhood. There's a house that belongs to an old couple—it was pretty and cozy to see especially since there's a lot of flowers and plants in their backyard but—there's something strange in that very same house.

One of the windows is always blocked by a curtain like it was vacant for a long time. It might be normal to everyone but to me it's not. Those old couples took their grandchildren to live with them one day and there were three of them. Just enough for a big house. You can also hear loud talking in there that is from those kids.

Yet, that very window still didn't open as if no one ever dared to go behind the room of it. But why?

Yet, a kid like me should not interfere with such things from a stranger in our little town so I choose to just mind my own business.

After all, they always said that— "A secret would never be kept as a secret. All secrets would be revealed by it's own way." And they were not wrong.

As I took the very same route, something strange happened. It wasn't really that strange but new to me.

A paper airplane flew towards me and when I went to see where it came from, the closed window from the house of the old couple is now open and it looks like someone is hiding there for I can see a golden hair peaking.

Was it one of the grandchildren? Impossible. The youngest one who is a girl goes to the same school as me and has after-school classes, the older one is in highschool and will come home when dark while the oldest boy is in college and is living in a dorm. So who could this be? Was it another kid? Probably because why would those old couples just took in a random kid outside?

I quickly brushed it off and walked away thinking that it's just a random coincidence.

But these incidents didn't stop. Every time I walked passed-no... Every time I'm in front of that window even in the slightest inch, paper planes would keep flying towards me. I chose to ignore it again and again for I thought that it was just a random bullying like I used to receive in school from students older and taller than me so this wasn't new. But one time, I got fed up and tried to tear the paper plane but noticed something written on it. I quickly put it back together and finally read what it said:

"What's your name? (•‿•)"

I raised an eyebrow and looked at the window again and saw a boy who quickly hid like he was afraid to be seen.

Now that was weird. He has the same golden hair as the one I had seen before. Who was he?
