Chapter 42 - 42

A minute and a half later, Leo could already see the red and gold steel figure in front of him.

Two seconds later, the silver armor wrapped in golden light came directly to the side of Mark III.

"Jarvis, connect with Mr. Stark."

"Leo, why are you here? How did you do it?" In less than a second, Tony's exclamatory voice came from the headset.

"Mr. Stark, this is also one of my abilities. It was only activated after the last incident. You know, I'm very low-key."

Leo said to Tony through the headset.

"Leo, this time going out is no joke. I don't want to get you into trouble. I can do it alone."

Tony continued flying with his eyes fixed on the front.

"They must have gone to Gemilla because of Ethan. Whether it's because of Ethan or the matter of Stark Industries' weapons, I can't just sit back and watch."

"So what do you want to do?" Leo asked

"Destroy my weapon."

"I'll go with you. This is the first combat test of the Mark III and I don't want to miss it." Leo and Tony flew side by side.

Tony didn't say anything, but his feelings for Leo deepened. Perhaps at this moment, Tony finally truly regarded Leo as a partner.

Mark III's hands also shot out flames, and the speed increased a bit. The air around the armor showed a strong fluctuation, and an explosion sounded out of nowhere.

The Mark III entered supersonic speed.

Leo followed, and above the clouds, two figures, one gold and one red, flew quickly towards Gemila.

"Mr. Stark, will we be targeted by satellites?"

"No, we're too small. Unless the military has satellites specifically monitoring a location, we might be discovered if we break in. But we won't be passing through the military's test area."

Tony said confidently.

"Mr. Stark, do you think you can withstand a tank shell?"

"I've calculated it, there shouldn't be any problem. Why are you asking this question?" Tony asked curiously.

"I was thinking, if a tank shell came at you, would I save you?"

"Take care of yourself. Don't ask me to rescue you when the time comes."

Leo also smiled, and the two of them sped up a bit.

...

In the small town of Gemila, only a few dilapidated buildings remain in the town. The walls of the bungalows are full of bullet holes, and desperate cries and shouts are heard all around.

All the freedom fighters with guns seemed to be killing for fun, shooting randomly at the running refugees.

Seven or eight refugees were driven into a room, and then a grenade was thrown into the room. There was a loud bang in the room, and then there was no sound.

Some soldiers also captured the women and children, and drove all the men to the wall, forcing them to lie down facing the wall with their heads in their hands, ready to kill them all.

Among them, the bearded deputy leader who had brought Tony out of the cave was also standing in the middle and commanding.

"Get all the women in the car, hurry up, put the weapons over there!"

"Get everyone out of the house!"

"Catch him!"

I saw a man holding his two children and his wife trying to take the opportunity to run away.

The men knocked the man to the ground with the butt of their rifles and dragged the woman and two children onto the truck.

"Shoot him along with the others!"

He waved his hand and asked his men to drag the man to stand against the wall.

His son broke free, crying out, "Daddy, Daddy."

The father also struggled to break free and ran to hug his son.

The deputy leader walked up, grabbed the boy and threw him backwards.

Kicked him to the ground directly.

He stomped on his father several times with all his strength and said to the soldier beside him.

"Shoot him, you bastards!"

Turn around and walk away and look somewhere else.

The soldier pulled my father up and made him kneel on the ground, raised the rifle in his hand and pointed it at his head.

The mother standing by helplessly covered her daughter and son's heads, about to see their father die in front of them.

A whistling sound came from the air.

Everyone looked up and saw a red and gold steel armor descending from the sky. It sprayed its hands downwards to slow down and knelt on one knee as a buffer.

Tony Stark is here.

Another silver armor fell down quietly without any movement, as if it was made of foam, and stood on the ground silently.

Although it looked only three-fifths the height of the red and gold armor next to it, it looked even more terrifying.

Someone immediately opened fire on Tony and the other man, but the brass bullets bounced off their armor and had no effect at all.

Mark III stepped forward and punched the nearest soldier with a gun, knocking him seven or eight meters away. The soldier flew onto the wall on the second floor and fell to his death.

Three consecutive palm pulse cannon shots took out the three shooters around.

He turned around and pointed his hands at the soldiers who were tying up the women and children in front of the truck.

But all five of them used the hostages in their arms as shields, preventing Tony from using the palm pulse cannon.

The energy light in his hand slowly went out, but Jarvis locked onto the heads of the five robbers on the screen.

Two rows of small automatic machine guns suddenly appeared on his shoulders.

Twelve small bullets were fired, ensuring that each person received two fatal hits.

The machine gun was retracted, but the noise still made the tied women and children take a step back, with deep fear in their eyes.

It was not until the child rushed out and hugged his father that they reacted and knelt down in fear.

Tony did not forget the bearded man he saw. Jarvis turned on the scanning system and determined that the bearded man was hiding behind the wall and was about to make a phone call.

Tony punched through the wall, pulled him out, and threw him into the crowd.

"He's yours now."

"Mr. Stark, don't you want to kill him yourself?" asked Leo, who was watching the whole process.

"I think I killed him and gave him such a great pleasure!"

"Okay, then I'll go to the other side and you continue. I'll find you then."

Leo separated from Tony. He believed in Tony. After all, he was protected by the protagonist's halo and no accidents should happen.

There is still fierce fighting going on all around, no, it should be said that it is a massacre. This small square is just the tip of the iceberg.

Leo came to another location and saw that the freedom fighters were still madly slaughtering civilians who could not resist, and anger surged in his heart.

As he walked over, the three soldiers who were shooting at the refugees suddenly had their guns stuck, and the triggers turned into finger-cutting knives, cutting their fingers directly into two.

The guns were also thrown to the ground, but they floated up again, with the muzzles pointed at themselves.

Dozens of bullets were fired, turning them into bloody sieves one by one.

More and more people noticed this strange silver figure and pointed their guns in this direction.

Hundreds of bullets from more than a dozen guns were fixed three meters away from Leo. The next moment, all of them were reflected back and hit their foreheads directly, blowing their heads off.

Leo was truly merciless to them, rising up and flying low over them like a harvester.

Wherever they passed, all the gunmen died instantly.

Who made them hold metal guns in their hands? With just a thought, the gun fragments could pierce their heads.

If Leo's spirit was only 19 points, he would have been able to mow the lawn even faster.
