The silver supercar quickly disappeared in front of Leo.
Leo turned and walked towards the venue which had already ended. When he reached the balcony on the rooftop, Pepper was still waiting there.
Although nearly half an hour had passed, she still expected Tony to return with a martini with extra olives.
Seeing Leo walk up to her, a hint of disappointment appeared in Pepper's eyes.
"Sister Pepper, Mr. Stark, there was an emergency and he has already left. Let me pick you up. Let's go back together."
Pepper blinked hard, nodded, and said with a smile, "Well, let's go. I happened to be driving here."
With Leo, the two of them had a meal in the city and drove home chatting and laughing all the way.
Pepper returned to the room again, probably with many unfinished documents in her hands.
Leo rushed to the underground studio, and before he opened the door, he saw a flash of fire.
A pulse cannon fired, and a big hole appeared on the basement ceiling, and several adjacent light tubes fell and shattered.
Tony's right hand is wearing the completed and painted Mark III arm part.
Tony opened the door and came in, but he didn't react at all and just looked at the hole in the wall.
Leo also saw what was broadcast on TV, which was a reporter reporting on the current situation of the town of Gemila.
"The recent riots are a foreign warlord force, which the locals call freedom fighters. As you can see, anyone who dares to stand in their way will die."
"...next to me, this woman was seeking news about her husband, who had been kidnapped by the insurgents and might also be forced to join their army."
"Desperate refugees clutched photos of their loved ones and anxiously sought news from passersby."
"A child asked me, where are my mom and dad?"
"These refugees have very little hope of survival and can only hope someone will come to rescue them."
Tony also walked to the door and looked at his own shadow reflected on the glass door, that unfamiliar shadow.
"I once said I would no longer manufacture weapons that kill people. Now, in Gemilla, Ethan's hometown, everyone is suffering from the ravages of war, and they are using the very weapons I said I would no longer manufacture. I am a joke."
Tony faced his inner self and made up his mind. He raised his right hand and smashed the door against himself.
"Bang, bang, bang" the glass door opened three times, as if celebrating Tony's new life.
"Leo, the gold-titanium alloy has been delivered to your room. I'm going out for a while, you go to sleep first!" Tony walked towards the experimental board.
Leo saw the face of the bald leader and the bearded deputy leader on TV, as well as scenes of large numbers of refugees being shot.
"Mr. Stark, don't you need to think about it again?"
Leo already knew what he wanted to do, but he was a little concerned about the two tons of gold and titanium alloy in the room.
Stark didn't answer, took off his white vest, put on a special black tight combat suit, and stood in the center of the experimental board.
These days, Tony has transformed this place into a robotic operating table to put on the Mark III himself.
The experimental board cracked open, and a total of twelve robotic arms presented all the components of the Mark III.
Tony stepped his feet into the foot armor, and the ones on his calves, thighs, and waist also attached to it, and the robotic arms tightened the parts.
The two hand parts were also sent down from the top. Tony stretched out his hands, and the arms, shoulders, elbows, back armor lining, and outer shell all came forward to tighten up Tony, and the equipment was completed.
Finally, the head piece was attached and fixed, and the golden mask was put on directly, and the eyes lit up.
The complete Mark III has been fully worn by Tony.
The most familiar red and gold combination,
The prototype of combat power armor is equipped with pulse cannons, missiles, jammers and mini-machine guns on the hands, shoulders and thighs.
The upgraded crystal lens on the chest can focus energy and deliver a powerful blow, while the titanium-gold mixed aluminum alloy solves the problem of icing at high altitudes.
"Mr. Stark, this place is thousands of miles away from Gemilla. Even if you fly there, it will take several hours. Have you decided?"
Leo said to Tony seriously that this was not a test, but a real battle.
Tony didn't answer. The Mark III had already started up, spewing out flames and flying outward, making his attitude clear.
Leo rubbed his forehead speechlessly.
"Well, I thought if it was just one day later, I would have succeeded. I was about to break through, but now I've wasted another day!"
With a wave of his hand, the metal blocks piled together in the corner flew over, turned into pieces of accessories, and attached to Leo's body.
He walked forward, picked up a high-tech Bluetooth headset from the table, and put it on his ears.
"Jarvis? Jarvis, are you there?"
"Mr. Leo, what's going on?"
"Can it be connected to Mr. Stark's armor?"
"Sure, Mr. Leo."
With a wave of his hand, a piece of silver metal flew over and quickly turned into a helmet similar to the Mark III. It was attached to Leo's head, and the headphones were still on.
A small silver-colored suit of armor was completed. It weighed over 200 pounds and was nothing but a movable iron shell.
There weren't even any openings for the eyes, leaving only a few tiny breathing holes to facilitate Leo's breathing.
The white armor floated up without any fireworks and flew out quickly, leaving Tony's villa.
Looking at the dark night sky, even with the golden eyes open, Tony's figure could not be seen.
"Jarvis, which way is Mr. Stark?"
"Mr. Leo, to your east."
After looking around, Leo quickly flew up.
He accelerated and caught up, the speed getting faster and faster. With the external metal protection, Leo was able to increase the speed to two hundred meters per second and move forward quickly.
Less than half a minute into the flight, Jarvis' voice rang out, "Mr. Leo, you can't catch up with Mr. Stark at your current speed. The Mark III's average speed is 300 meters per second, and it can reach Mach 1.3."
When Leo heard this, his eyes widened slightly, and a circle of golden light emerged from the silver armor.
A golden mesh circle appeared on the outside of the armor, and seemed to have been greatly deformed. Its specific appearance could not be determined, but each line became more solid, as if it really existed.
But under the golden light, Leo exerted a little force.
A slowly moving golden dot instantly turned into a golden ray of light, crossing the dark night sky and rushing forward.
"Jarvis, help me contact Mr. Stark"
"Connecting Mr. Stark."
At this moment, Leo judged that his current speed should be close to 500 meters per second, and he should be approaching Mr. Stark quickly.
"Mr. Leo, Mr. Stark declined the call."
"Well, I'm not going to stop him from going there. Really, Jarvis, how far am I from Stark?" Leo was a little amused.
"About seventeen kilometers. At your current speed, you can expect to catch up with Mr. Stark in ninety seconds."
"Mr. Leo, you've deviated from your course. Please move twenty degrees to the right."
Leo turned slightly and chased after Tony.
