"I'll get you a new one," Melody Thorne reached out with her other hand to pick a new apple.
"No, I want the one in your hand," Ethan Knight pressed down on her hand that was reaching for the apple.
"Alright then," Melody pushed the half-eaten apple into Ethan's mouth.
Ethan took a bite and his expression changed dramatically. He quickly got up and spat it into the trash can. "What did you give me to eat?"
"An apple,"
"Why does it taste like this?"
"I don't know," Melody shook her head, indicating she didn't know. She also tossed the other half of the apple in her hand into the trash can. Earlier, while Ethan wasn't paying attention, she had rubbed it on the floor!
"Miss, Mr. Jared, you're here," the servant spoke up.
"Mm, we're here to have dinner with Miss Thorne and my brother. Serve the dishes!"
