"Damn it!" the man inside the car cursed under his breath.
The large hand that wrapped around Melody Thorne's waist to pull her into the car let go immediately.
"It's you again!" Melody Thorne's tone was full of disdain.
Ethan Knight's car sped away from the spot, his clothes half-open. "If it weren't for me, you'd have been taken away by now!"
"Who?" Melody Thorne glanced back through the car's rearview mirror and saw two men standing right where she had just been!
"Probably had some bad intentions toward you!" Ethan Knight's gaze flickered past Melody Thorne.
"Where are you taking me? Isn't yesterday's deal already void?"
"Whether it's void or not is up to me. Now my sister is with Jared Quinn. If you want to go back now, I can choose to send you back!"
"You'd be that kind to me?" Melody Thorne snorted coldly. "So now that Jared Quinn has reached some agreement with your sister, you're here to find me, right?"
