Chapter 1 - Chapter 1:The Golden Light

The Omniverse stretched endlessly, a realm of countless dimensions, galaxies, and realities woven together by threads of power — mana, chakra, and divine energy. At the very center of it all stood the Omni Palace, a fortress so radiant it seemed carved from the essence of creation itself. And within its walls lived the beings who stood above all others — the Omni King and Queen, rulers of eternity, and their children, each a prodigy destined for greatness.

All except one.

Loryn.

He sat alone on the palace balcony, the vast skies shimmering with starlight and auroras. His deep blue hair, inherited from his father, danced softly in the cosmic winds. His amber-golden eyes, reflecting the warmth of his mother's gaze, glowed faintly as if touched by sunlight itself. Even so, those eyes carried the weight of a boy who had never truly belonged.

Below him, the sounds of battle echoed through the training grounds. His siblings clashed with weapons forged from divine steel, their voices filled with laughter and confidence. Blades of fire, storms of ice, and beams of mana tore through the air as if the laws of nature bent at their command.

Loryn gripped the balcony rail tighter. His lean, well-trained body was the mark of countless hours spent in weapon mastery — swords, spears, bows, every art of combat. And yet, no matter how hard he trained, mana had never answered his call. In a world where power was everything, where every being measured worth by the brilliance of their aura, Loryn stood as nothing.

"Why was I even born if I can't wield what everyone else can?"

He remembered his siblings' sympathetic smiles. They did not mock him, not openly. His parents never showed anger. But their silence, their protective gazes, only deepened the emptiness inside. He was different. Weak. A shadow beneath the brightest stars.

And yet… not all was hopeless.

From the moment he could walk, Loryn had seen something others couldn't — a golden light. Sometimes it shimmered faintly in the halls of the palace, other times hovering above the forests or skies. No one else noticed it. He had asked, once, when he was younger. His siblings laughed. His parents only smiled and told him not to worry. But the lights never left him. They followed him, always just out of reach.

Now, on the eve of his tenth year, the golden light appeared once more. This time, it floated directly in front of him — a soft, glowing sphere, pulsing with life. It wasn't harsh or wild like mana. It wasn't destructive like chakra. It was calm. Infinite. Calling only to him.

Loryn's breath caught in his throat. He reached out, trembling. The moment his fingertips brushed the light, a surge of power rushed into his veins — vast, endless, terrifying. His heart thundered, his vision blurred, and for an instant, it felt as though he was staring into the fabric of existence itself.

The balcony cracked beneath him. A ripple tore through the air, and then it happened.

A black hole burst into existence at his feet. It swirled violently, devouring dust, petals, and fragments of stone, its pull undeniable. Loryn stumbled back, eyes wide in horror. He had no control. The void expanded, growing larger and darker, as though ready to consume everything.

"What… what is this!?"

From the highest tower, his father, the Omni King, rose to his feet, his piercing gaze fixed on the anomaly. At his side, the Queen's eyes softened, though her hands trembled ever so slightly. They did not move to stop it.

"This is the beginning," the King murmured.

The Queen's golden eyes shimmered. "He has found it… the Infinity Energy."

Down below, his siblings froze mid-battle, sensing the disturbance. Shadows rippled. Flames flickered. Even from afar, they could feel it — a power far beyond mana. Far beyond what they had ever known.

The void pulsed once more, then collapsed suddenly, leaving only silence. Loryn fell to his knees, panting, sweat dripping from his brow. He stared at his trembling hands, still glowing faintly with golden light.

Somewhere, across distant realms, six other beings shivered as they felt the ripple — six Monarchs, each chosen by fate. For the first time in billions of years, destiny had shifted.

The 13th Monarch had awakened.
