Just as Pei QianLann had expected, from the start of the wedding to the very end, Qiann Yan never showed up.
She had already given the Zhu Family a heads-up, so no one panicked. She calmly explained to the guests that Qiann Yan was too busy with work to attend, and after all, the wedding had been arranged rather hastily.
The guests muttered inwardly, thinking that Qiann Yan really did rarely appear at public events like this, so maybe she did have something urgent. Whether she came or not, the fact remained that the two were sisters, and that couldn't be changed.
The wedding went smoothly from start to finish, without any trouble, and both the Zhu Family and Pei QianLann let out a sigh of relief.
Zhu Zhengming thought he had it all calculated: tomorrow he'd go visit those old friends he used to know. Judging from their attitude at the wedding today, they were already much warmer than last time. That Yan Fei's clout was really something else.
