Beerus rubbed his temples in frustration, his golden eyes narrowing. "Tch... another mortal mastering that angelic technique!" The thought alone made the God of Destruction's head pound. It seemed he had to take this seriously no more holding back.
With a growl, Beerus clenched his fists tightly.
At that instant, violet flames of Hakai energy surged around his body, the air warping under the heat of destruction itself. His aura pulsed with divine pressure an unmistakable sign that Beerus was invoking the full power of a God of Destruction.
Facing him, Lin Hao stood calmly, silver eyes glowing. His expression didn't waver.
"Whizzing…"
Almost simultaneously, both vanished.two blurs colliding in midair faster than sound.
"Bang! Bang! Bang!"
Having completely mastered the movement of Ultra Instinct Sign, Lin Hao no longer relied solely on dodging. This time, he met Beerus blow for blow, fist against fist, divine energy bursting at every impact.
Explosive shockwaves rippled through the sky as the two clashed, each strike tearing through layers of atmosphere. The sky itself began to crack from the intensity of their power.space trembling under the might of two beings beyond mortal comprehension.
"Boom!"
Their fists met again, and the sea below split apart from the aftermath.
"Ha! Now this is what I call a real fight!" Lin Hao shouted, exhilarated.
Though he wasn't yet fighting at his full potential, the thrill of facing a God of Destruction pushed him beyond his limits.
Beerus grinned fiercely. "Heh… that Ultra Instinct of yours unfinished or not is stronger than I expected." His tail lashed through the air in excitement.
"Come on, Lin Hao! Let's finish this!"
"Haaah!!"
With a roar, Beerus unleashed another surge of Hakai energy. The purple aura expanded outward, vibrating the entire realm as his divine power skyrocketed.
"Very good," Lin Hao smiled faintly, "then let me see just how powerful the God of Destruction truly is!"
Their figures blurred once again.silver and violet lights streaking across the sky like colliding comets.
"BOOM!!"
A deafening explosion followed, forcing the Z Fighters watching below—Goku, Vegeta, and Piccolo—to shield their faces.
"Damn… their energy's insane!" Vegeta muttered, barely able to stand firm.
The earth itself trembled violently as the sky began to crack audibly.
"Crack… Crack…"
Crimson fissures split across the heavens, remnants of distorted space caused by divine energy clashing uncontrollably.
Whis's calm voice broke through the chaos. "Goodness, if this continues, the planet will be erased entirely…"
Raising his staff, Whis created a translucent blue barrier around Beerus and Lin Hao, isolating their battle within an angelic containment field. "There. That should prevent the destruction of Earth.for now. I haven't even finished trying that new Earth pudding yet."
Within the barrier, the two combatants separated again, breathing lightly.
"It seems it's difficult to overcome Beerus with only the incomplete Ultra Instinct," Lin Hao thought, rotating his shoulder. "I'll have to abandon this form for now…"
His silver glow flickered, and he let the aura fade his form stabilizing before igniting once more, ascending into the true Mastered Ultra Instinct.
Beerus raised an eyebrow. "Oh? You've dropped the Sign form. I take it you realized your incomplete version can't beat me."
"Maybe," Lin Hao replied with a faint grin, "but this fight… ends now."
The air exploded again as Lin Hao shot forward, faster than before.
Beerus's instincts screamed. He tightened his stance this time not underestimating the mortal before him.
"Swish! Swish! Swish!"
The next exchange shattered the sound barrier a dozen times over, divine power colliding like the wrath of creation itself.
Lin Hao launched a flurry of precise blows, each strike cutting through the air with the silver gleam of Ultra Instinct. Yet every time he was about to land a hit, Beerus tilted or twisted away effortlessly, his reflexes guided by instinct alone.
"Oh? You're using Ultra Instinct too?" Lin Hao narrowed his eyes, silver aura shimmering. "But yours… it looks far less refined than mine."
He halted his assault, hovering midair as he studied Beerus.
From the beginning, Lin Hao had known that Beerus wasn't just strong.he possessed a latent form of Ultra Instinct, the same instinctive technique Whis once mentioned that even other Gods of Destruction struggled to maintain.
Although Beerus' version was far from perfect, it still gave him an edge in battle. His movements instinctive and unpredictablekept Lin Hao on constant guard.
"Indeed," Beerus admitted, smirking. "My Ultra Instinct isn't complete. It's not the calm, polished version you angels prefermine burns with destruction."
He cracked his neck and rolled his shoulders. "Still, even if it's rough, I can make it work."
It was true. Ultra Instinct was one of the most difficult techniques in existence few deities could use it at all. Beerus himself had only glimpsed its essence through his training under Whis, but his battle experience made his instincts sharp enough to rival the angels' teachings.
Even so, he had to acknowledge Lin Hao's superior mastery.
Beerus grinned. "Impressive… I didn't expect a mortal to reach this height. But if that's the case, I won't hold back anymore."
"Good," Lin Hao replied, tightening his stance. "Then come at me with your full divine might!"
The moment Beerus spread his arms, a wave of Hakai energy exploded from his body blazing violet flames twisting the very space around him.
Then, with a flash of godly speed, Beerus lunged. Though his movement looked deceptively slow, he was in front of Lin Hao in an instant, his fist crashing forward with the weight of destruction itself.
Lin Hao tilted his head just enough for the attack to graze past, then pivoted—his right leg snapping up in a silver blur.
Beerus' pupils narrowed. His body stopped mid-motion as his instincts screamed. He darted backward at the last instant, Lin Hao's kick slicing through the air where his head had been.
"Oh? You dodged again, huh? In that case…" Lin Hao's expression hardened.
"Aha!"
Raising his palms, Lin Hao gathered a torrent of divine ki. Dozens of radiant energy spheres materialized in front of him each pulsing with Ultra Instinct precision.before firing toward Beerus in rapid succession.
Beerus' eyes widened. Even with his instincts, he knew dodging them all was impossible.
"Tch… fine then!"
He extended both hands, summoning twin orbs of purple Hakai energy. The destructive spheres met the incoming barrage head-on.
"Boom! Boom! Boom!"
The sky erupted in violent flashes as divine ki and destructive energy collided, cancelling each other out with explosive brilliance.
Before the smoke cleared, Lin Hao's form vanished.
"Wha?"
A split second later, a crushing blow struck Beerus' abdomen. Lin Hao's fists and feet came in a blur.striking his gut, ribs, and chest in rapid succession.
Beerus gasped, sent hurtling backward by the force of the assault.
Buzz!
He crashed violently into the translucent barrier surrounding the battlefield, the divine shield humming on impact.
"Huh? A barrier?" Beerus muttered, glancing around as sparks of energy crackled.
Lin Hao hovered nearby, his silver aura flickering. "That's Whis' handiwork. I noticed it earlier… He probably knows our power could destroy the planet if he didn't intervene."
Indeed, the cracked sky and warped clouds around them told the story, if their punches had continued unrestricted, Earth itself might not have survived another exchange.
