The water of the waterfall falling from the hills was flowing through the rocks and the fragrance of the colourful flowers in the plants planted on the river bank was spreading everywhere. With the chirping of the birds and the soft sound of the air, the scary forest of the night now seemed as beautiful as heaven. Kabir, lying on a big rock, was still unconscious, but his body was drenched in sweat and fear was still visible on his face.
The dark black eyes of the man sitting next to him were staring at Kabir, light dark complexion, thin pink lips, light beard on the face, scattered hair and sharp face were completely cold. His 6 feet tall body was wearing only black paint, his muscular upper body and long strong arms with prominent veins could drive anyone crazy. Then the thin fingers of that man slowly moved towards Kabir's face but before he could touch him, Kabir opened his eyes in panic "Ahhhh"
Kabir sat up screaming, but the next moment he realised and he looked at the person sitting in front of him and for a few moments he forgot to breathe. Kabir was lost in the black eyes of the person, but in a few seconds the magic of his eyes broke and Kabir said in a stuttering voice "Who... who are you?
The man ignored Kabir's words and took his hand back. Kabir was still looking at him when that man got up from there and reached the river bank. Kabir closed his eyes and tried to remember last night.
"That wolf.... the wolf was about to eat me last night but what happened there?" A soft voice came out from his dry trembling lips, he looked around and his eyes lit up with surprise.
"Which place is this? Where am I? I was in the jungle. Is this the same jungle? And who is this man?" Countless questions came out of his mouth.
"Excuse me..." Kabir called out loudly but the man did not pay any attention,
"I am speaking to you.... can't you hear me" Kabir's loud voice had no effect on the man. Kabir's patience started to fail, he came down from the rock and moved towards the man.
"Are you deaf or are you deliberately ignoring me?" Kabir said in a frustrated tone but the man did not even look at Kabir, he was standing there like a statue and looking at the water falling from the waterfall with cold eyes.
"Oh Mister, can't you hear me? I'm talking to you?" Kabir shouted angrily and tried to put his hand on the man's shoulder, but before he could do so, Kabir's foot slipped on the moss on the riverbank and he fell into the shallow river. "Aaah... my foot"
While trying to get up, Kabir fell again, he could not even get up due to the sprain in his leg. The man standing in front of him stared at Kabir with cold dark eyes, there was no humanity or any emotion in his eyes as if there were several layers of cold ice frozen in those eyes which was not possible for anyone to melt.
"Why are you standing and staring like this, can't you help me? can't you see, I am unable to get up, ah..." Kabir said in pain and anger and extended his hand towards him, even then he kept staring at Kabir without saying anything. Kabir angrily tried to stand up by pulling his hand back but suddenly two strong arms supported him and his eyes widened in surprise.
The man who was standing like a lifeless statue of stone a while ago, had now lifted Kabir in his strong arms. In a moment, Kabir's hands had automatically surrounded the man's neck, but still he was surprised and was looking into those dark eyes as if he would find the answers to Kabir's questions in them. But that stone-hearted man had not looked at Kabir even once till now. A sweet smile spread on Kabir's lips which disappeared in a few moments when the man took him down from his arms and made him sit on the stone.
The man started to walk away without saying anything, but the grip of slender fingers on his strong wrist stopped his steps.
"Who are you?" Kabir said slowly and deeply and The voice forced him to look back.
"It is not necessary for you to know this" The harsh voice that came out of his mouth was like that of a demon.
"Why not? I need to know who is the person who saved my life?" Kabir's calm voice was once again ignored
"Please tell me who you are?" This time there was curiosity in Kabir's voice,
"What you can't even imagine" he replied in a harsh voice without looking at Kabir and started to walk away. Kabir was getting more and more restless as he was walking away from him. He just wanted to know the person who looked like a prince but his attitude was as cruel as a demon.
"Where are you going? Wait..... listen" Kabir kept shouting but that man's steps did not stop,
"Where are you going... at least tell me your name" As soon as he heard Kabir's voice, he stopped for a moment,
"Advik...." his voice was so harsh that the listener would get scared, but on hearing the name, a sweet smile spread on Kabir's lips.
"Aadvik... what a beautiful name" he muttered smiling with his eyes closed, the next moment he opened his eyes and saw clouds of sadness on his face. He looked around restlessly but Aadvik was nowhere to be seen.
"He was here just now, where did you go so soon...? Advik.... Advik.... where are you... Advik...." Kabir's restless and nervous voice started echoing everywhere.
A lot of time had passed but Advik had still not returned. Kabir reached the river limping, but it was difficult for him to stand even for a moment due to the severe pain in his legs. He gave up and sat down near the river, the beautiful view there also started to look pale due to the confusion on Kabir's face.
"My friends must be worried for me, I don't even know where my mobile is, how do I contact them? If I am not able to walk properly, then how will I go back? Advik has also gone, what should I do now?" Saying this in a dejected voice, Kabir closed his eyes. After a few minutes, he was startled by the sound of someone's footsteps and opened his eyes.
