As soon as the hungry wolf jumped on Kabir, Kabir closed his eyes and covered his mouth with both hands "Ahhhhhh"
After his heartbeat stopped for a few moments, Kabir opened his eyes in shock when he realised that he was alive. The man in black clothes was standing between him and the wolf. The wolf was scared like a pet dog on seeing his deep black, scary eyes that could swallow the light. With a signal from the man's eyes, the wolf ran away from there in a moment.
Then he turned and looked at Kabir who was still in shock after seeing death in front of him. Kabir was still sitting on the ground like a lifeless statue. His face was pale and his body had turned cold. The next moment Kabir fell unconscious. Then that person sat on his paws near Kabir and he stood back while holding Kabir in his lap but there was no expression on his face. He was staring at Kabir with lifeless cold eyes.
On one hand, someone had taken Kabir with him and on the other hand, his friends, trapped in the web of Mohini, had reached the old mansion, but they still had not realised that Kabir was not with them.
"Mona, where are you going? I think instead of getting out of the jungle, we are getting trapped" On hearing Amit's words, Mohini turned around; there was a devilish smile on her face which they were still unable to understand.
Tanish said fearfully, "I am feeling scared in this dreadful forest. I don't know if we will be able to go back or not."
Rihaan said in irritation, "When I said this, you were feeling like acting brave, what is the use of being scared now?"
Saying this he moved forward from there, after walking for some time Rihaan's steps stopped and there was an old mansion in front of him. Looking at the mansion, a devilish gleam was seen in Mohini's eyes, she immediately said "It is not possible to get out of here in the dark of the night, why don't we stay in this mansion tonight"
Hearing this, they all thought for a while, then Rihaan agreed and said, "Okay, anyway Kabir is tired…"
While saying this, Rihaan's words got stuck in his throat when he looked back. When he did not see Kabir there, Rihaan's eyes showed concern, "Where is Kabir?"
Hearing Rihaan's frightened voice Amit said "He is right here"
Saying this he turned back. Mohini said worriedly, "Kabir, he was with us, then where did he disappear?"
"I don't know, I'm going to look for him," Rihan said in confusion.
When Rihaan was about to go back, Mohini quickly said, "No, where will you find him in the dark? Let's go inside the mansion now, we will all go in search of him in the morning."
Rihaan said angrily, "Are you crazy Mona? You are saying that I should leave Kabir in the jungle for the night, are you in your senses? He is my friend, I am going to find him"
Mohini tried to open her mouth to say something but Rihaan said in a strict voice "Because of you we are already in trouble, now keep your mouth shut or else I will forget that you are a girl"
Saying this, Rihaan clenched his fist in anger, then he glared at Amit and Tanish and left the place the very next moment. After he left, Amit said, "Mona, I cannot leave Kabir and Rihaan alone. You go to the mansion with Tanish, I am going with Rihaan ."
Tanish immediately said "I am coming too"
Amit interrupted him and said, "No, it is not safe for Mona to stay alone in the mansion. You stay with her. If we do not return by morning, then both of you return to the village, we will meet there."
Tanish agreed, Amit also left from there without losing a moment but there was anger on Mohini's face. With Kabir's disappearance, the other two boys also got out of his clutches, now only Tanish was with her. When Tanish reached the mansion with Mohini, seeing the scary atmosphere of the mansion, fear was visible in his eyes. He immediately held Mohini's arm and said, "Is this a mansion or a haunted house, is there any ghost or witch here?"
Mohini said with a crooked smile "Not a witch, just a pret"
Hearing this, Tanish got nervous and held Mohini's arm tightly. Mohini laughed and said, "I was just joking, you got scared so easily. What will you do if a pret really appears in front of you?"
Tanish said in confusion, "Please don't say that, I am scared"
Mohini looked back at Tanish and said "ohh relax yaar, okay you wait here I will come just now. Let me see if there is anyone in the mansion who can help us"
"No, I will not let you go alone" Tanish said in a worried voice, then Mohini smiled "Don't worry, I will be back soon. You stay here"
Saying this, Mohini removed Tanish's hand from her arm, and she went towards the dark room of the mansion. Tanish kept watching her go for some time, then he sat there. Mohini reached inside where the old man was already waiting for her. As soon as he saw Mohini he said "Did you bring them?"
Mohini bowed her head and said, "Sorry Baba, out of those four, I have been able to bring only one boy here. The other three escaped from my clutches even after coming here."
Baba said in a deep voice "Ok, I want to meet that one boy, I am sure that one of them is definitely a sacrifice to the shaitan because I can feel his holy energy in the boundary of the forest"
Hearing this, a mischievous look came on Mohini's face. She went to the room of the mansion with Baba where Tanish was. But by then Tanish was sitting there and had fallen asleep. Baba looked at Tanish once and then he went near him. Mohini was standing far away and watching. Baba placed his palm on Tanish's forehead and closed his eyes as if he was trying to know something with his powers. After a few seconds, he opened his eyes and then moved his hands towards Tanish's shirt. After opening the buttons of Tanish's shirt, he felt something on his chest and Baba's face became disappointed.
He looked at Mohini and said "No, this boy is not a divine sacrifice to the shaitan"
Mohini thought and said, "This means he is one of the other three boys."
Baba said in a deep voice "Yes, that is why you have to stay close to them now so that you can recognize him"
