Chapter 2 - First Clashes

The streets of Metropolis were a war zone. Cracks ran through concrete, metal twisted, and every siren screamed a warning of the chaos above. The rift in the sky pulsed, a jagged wound spilling violet and blue energy into the city.

Superman hovered, fists clenched, eyes glowing. Across the rubble, Thor's hammer crackled with lightning, sparks dancing across his armor. Neither spoke; neither would yield first.

With a roar, Thor swung Mjolnir, summoning a thunderbolt that split the street in two. Superman responded, fists slamming into the lightning with a force that shook nearby buildings. Dust and debris tore into the air like shrapnel, and the city itself seemed to scream.

Meanwhile, in the shadows, Batman observed silently, calculating every angle. Spider-Man swung into view, webs snapping across shattered beams, landing squarely between the god and the alien.

"Step aside, Batman. This doesn't concern you," Spider-Man said, voice tense but cautious.

"I know enough to stay alive," Batman replied, throwing a batarang to disarm a falling chunk of rubble.

In a blink, Hulk emerged, roaring his fury, charging toward Doomsday — who had stepped through the rift moments earlier. Their collision sent shockwaves through the streets, smashing cars and crumbling walls.

Above, Flash streaked past, dodging lightning and energy blasts, while Quicksilver mirrored him from the opposite dimension, both trying to measure each other's speed.

All around the city, heroes and villains clashed. Wonder Woman deflected bolts of energy from Storm, Doctor Strange conjured portals to redirect attacks, and Loki grinned, watching the chaos unfold like a painter admiring his canvas.

The first wave of the multiversal collision had begun. No one could retreat. No one could hold back. And with each strike, the rift pulsed stronger, hinting at an even greater threat yet to come.

Metropolis wasn't just a battlefield — it was the proving ground for the ultimate war.
