Chapter 7 - The Villains’ Counterattack

The battlefield shook as the villains regrouped. From the jagged rift above, Darkseid descended with his Parademon army, their wings black as obsidian, eyes glowing with the Anti-Life Equation. From the opposite horizon, Thanos appeared, the Infinity Gauntlet shimmering, reality itself bending around his fingers. The two tyrants moved with deadly precision, each step a prelude to chaos.

"Scatter them!" Darkseid commanded, his voice a thunderclap that echoed across crumbling skyscrapers.

Parademons swarmed streets while Outriders poured from dimensional cracks. Hulk roared in defiance, charging through a wave of enemies, fists smashing concrete and steel. Doomsday met him with a feral roar, the earth quaking under the titanic collision.

Superman and Thor clashed in the sky, hammer against fists, lightning and heat vision tearing through buildings. Each blow sent shockwaves rippling across the battlefield.

In the shadows, Batman coordinated a tactical counterstrike with Nightwing and Robin. "Target their leaders—fracture the chain of command," he instructed, batarangs and precision explosives striking Parademon generals. Spider-Man swung between the chaos, webs snapping to redirect debris and save civilians.

Wonder Woman and Valkyrie cut through Hela's undead soldiers, blades clashing with bone and dark magic. Storm hovered above, lightning arcs meeting Darkseid's energy blasts in explosive collisions.

Even Loki, perched atop a rooftop, spread illusions to further confuse heroes and villains alike, laughing as chaos enveloped the city. Deadpool darted through the battlefield, slicing indiscriminately, his maniacal laughter oddly effective against the enemies.

For the first time, the heroes felt the true scope of the threat. It was not enough to fight individually. To survive, they would need coordination, strategy, and every ounce of strength they could muster.

The villains' counterattack had begun—and the heroes were on the defensive.
