Ronan's pov
I'm already 23 and I haven't found a mate yet. The elders are now questioning my authority as the lycan king which I can't blame them for. As an Alpha of Alpha's my Luna is the most important person to me and my pack members right now.
" Alpha Ronan" my beta called me as I looked up from my table.
" Any problem Gabriel?" I asked. " We just received information that the alpha of the bloodmoon pack rejected his mate," Gabriel said.
Alpha Theodore again? He already has lots of problems in his pack and he dared to reject his mate too. Some of these alphas are meant to be taught through a lesson.
" And is there any reason for that?" I asked " yes alpha, he claims she is wolfless and he needs a strong luna" Gabriel told me smiling. " Is that the reason he rejected her? How i wish the moon goddess blessed me with a human, i would cherish her with everything in me" i smiled looking at my beta who was about to burst out with laughter. Gabriel was like a brother to me, we literally grew up together. And he was my best friend too.
" Come on Ronan, you will find your mate soon. Don't be sad about it "Gabriel said as he tried comforting me.
" Oh please, " says someone who is enjoying the comfort of his mate. I don't need any more comfort from you Gabriel and please take care of that issue for me," I said as I left the office.

Amelia's pov
I stood by the window, looking down at the beautiful garden before me. I just couldn't help but feel like this was just a dream. Unfortunately for me, it is reality and I can't do anything about it. I was going to be discharged from the hospital today and I have already packed my stuff and gotten ready to leave.
" Miss Amelia, please I need you to sign here" the pack doctor said, handing over the bills to me.
I signed the papers and left without any words.
As I arrived at my room, I brought out all my stuff and started packing. I have already planned when to escape and that's tomorrow, my sister's Luna ceremony when everyone else will be busy.
As I finished packing my clothes, I laid on my bed just thinking of the things that have happened within the last few days, and how my life has changed, when all of a sudden I heard a knock on the door.
"Amelia, the alpha wants to meet you in his office immediately" one of the pack maids said before leaving. I was left wondering why he wanted to see me, if he regretted his decision or something else. Like who was deceiving, I said to myself.
As I arrived at his office, I saw him sitting down peacefully like he didn't destroy someone's life a few days ago.
"Alpha, you sent for me" I told him as my eyes were fixed to the ground. He stood up, then started closing in towards me. I kept moving back till I was caged by him on the wall.
"Alpha please we should keep our distance, i don't want your mate walking in and seeing us in this position" i said trying to sound really firm.
"Amelia, I have a suggestion for you," Theodore said, tracing his fingers on my arm, with a lustful look in his eye like I was some kind of prey.
"And what could dat be alpha?" " I want you to be my mistress amelia, i am the only one that can protect you in this world amelia. I will treat you nicely and equally with your sister Sophia, "Theodore said. I looked at him with disbelief and disgust. I couldn't believe he actually said that to me. I should be his fucking mistress!!!. I didn't know how it happened but I slapped him really hard.
" You are insane Theodore, you are about to make someone else your Luna and all you could tell me is to be your mistress!!, you have really gone mad "I screamed at him furiously. He held his cheeks and looked at me with disbelief.
"do you know how many people are pleading to be in that position Amelia, do you?" he asked " well i don't know and i don't care, they should take the darn position theodore, how did u become like this" i asked him utterly disappointed. " I am not interested in the offer alpha, so if you don't mind, i would love to head back to my room" i told him and turned to leave when he dragged me back and pinned me to the wall, holding my hands above my head. " I am your alpha Amelia so you don't walk out on me when I am not yet done talking to you!" Theodore said angrily as he pressed his lips tightly against mine. I tried freeing myself from his grip but I was no match for an alpha. I once craved this but now I feel utterly disgusted with it. I kneed his groin and ran out of his office bumping into Sophia in the hallway.
Third person pov;
Sophia ran into Theodore's office and met him kneeling " what happened Alpha, are you alright?" she asked as she helped him up. "That bitch, she will pay for this," Theodore muttered to himself. " I am fine Sophia, I just tripped" he said, removing his hands from Sophia's and sitting back on his chair.
" I just saw Amelia running out of here, did she do anything to you?" Sophia asked. " no, I called her to ask her to be present at your Luna ceremony, so she ran out heartbroken," Theodore said " shit i didn't even tell her this" he said to himself.
" oh, now I see why she ran out like that. I am so sorry that I had to come in between you both," Sophia said pretending to be sad.
" You don't have to blame yourself Sophie, it was my decision and the pack needs a strong Luna too. I won't allow you to get bullied or wronged Sophie, "Theodore said, hugging her affectionately.
Amelia's pov
I arrived at my room and locked the door behind me as I tried catching my breath. I ran into the bathroom to wash off that disgusting feeling before coming out. I sat on the floor holding myself together while I cried, I couldn't imagine what the man I fell in love with had turned out to be. I stood up and sat on my dressing table looking at my reflection. I am going to leave this hell soon. " Very soon Amelia, you're leaving this place."
