Alex POV – Manhattan
The ground comes at me and I don't slow down.
I slam through the first wave of Chitauri riders like they're flies on a windshield. Armor cracks, bodies scatter, metal scraps rain down like confetti. I don't even swing — just let speed tear them apart. Mach 20 and an immovable body does that.
Another swarm dives in, shrieking, weapons glowing. I plow straight through their formation, and they pop. Limbs, sparks, screams — none can withstand me anymore and none can stop me.
I tilt, bank, rip across a skyscraper's edge. Glass shatters from the shockwave, aliens shredded in the slipstream. I don't dodge — I don't need to.
Iron Man POV
Jarvis screams warnings in my ears. HUD lit up like a Christmas tree.
But that's not what gets me.
It's the blur. Red and blue, plasma fire hugging a human shape, ripping through Chitauri soldiers faster than my sensors can keep up.
"Uh," I mutter inside the helmet, "pretty sure I didn't order the knockoff."
I chase, thrusters burning — and fall behind instantly. Mach 20? That's not flight. That's cheating.
Captain America POV
The street shakes like an earthquake. I whip around just in time to see Chitauri shredded mid-charge, their bodies scattered before they even get within reach of my shield.
Through the smoke: a figure. Suit bright, cape trailing, glowing with sun-fire. Moving too fast to be natural, too strong to be human.
My grip tightens on the shield. I've seen gods. I've fought monsters. But I've never seen this.
Thor POV
Lightning crackles around my hammer as another metal beast crashes to the ground. But then — a thunder louder than mine.
A comet of fire splits the sky, scattering the Chitauri like dried leaves in a storm. The figure at its heart carves through them with nothing but speed and strength.
I pause, chest heaving. "By Odin's beard…" I mutter, voice low. "Another god walks Midgard."
Natasha POV
I'm pinned behind a wreck, Chitauri blasters tearing it apart inch by inch. I'm ready to roll, ready to make a final gamble.
Then the noise hits. A roar. A crack. And my attackers vanish — bodies ripped apart midair, nothing left but sparks and screams.
Through the haze, I catch a shape. Red, blue, burning like he owns the sky.
I don't lower my guns. Don't trust what I don't know. But for the first time all day, I'm not outnumbered.
Hawkeye POV
Arrow drawn, target locked, ready to fire.
Then woosh. The Chitauri I was aiming at is gone — shredded by a blur before I can let the string go.
I swear under my breath. Blink hard. The blur's still there, tearing through soldiers faster than I can track.
"Yeah," I mutter, "guess I am still affected by whatever Loki did to my mind because what I see can not be true, yeah I am still mind controlled."
Alex POV
I rip through another swarm and hover above the chaos, chest heaving, the city burning below me.
Every eye is on me. Heroes. Soldiers. Civilians. Even the aliens pause.
They wanted a savior.
They wanted a god.
Well, here I am
