Chapter 11 - Chapter 11

Inside his private study, surrounded by ancient tomes and star charts, Yoon Chansu sat in quiet meditation. Suddenly, a mysterious voice echoed inside his mind.

"Prophet Yoon Chansu… come meet me at Hangang Park at nine o'clock tonight."

His eyes snapped open in shock. The voice was deep, commanding, and so overwhelmingly powerful that it made him feel like nothing more than a tiny mortal before a being beyond imagination. He did not know who it belonged to, but every instinct told him there was no refusing it.

At exactly 9 p.m., Yoon Chansu arrived at Hangang Park. Looking around, he saw only a young man sitting casually on a bench. His appearance was so plain that no one would think he was the one who had summoned him. Yet the Prophet's heart whispered that this man was anything but ordinary.

"Are you…?" Yoon Chansu asked, his voice trembling.

Asher, disguised as an ordinary youth, lifted his head and smiled calmly. "Sit."

Obediently, Yoon Chansu sat, his body tense with awe. Though invisible, he could feel it—the overwhelming aura radiating from the man before him, a power many times greater than any SSS-rank Hunter.

"You see all things," Asher spoke, his tone calm yet carrying undeniable authority. "What you prophesied… it is coming."

"You… are the one who is to appear in the near future, aren't you?" Yoon Chansu asked, gathering his courage.

"The prophecy you spoke of is… interesting," Asher deflected smoothly. "Interesting enough that I chose to meet you myself."

Yoon Chansu's thoughts raced. He recalled the visions that had haunted him—a man of unfathomable might, towering above all creation. Looking at this youth, he felt certain: this was him.

"I only wish to know… what future awaits me," Asher asked with a faint smile.

The Prophet shook his head. "Your future… I cannot see it at all."

"Why not?"

"Your power exists beyond the dimension of time itself. To me, it is blind… empty."

A satisfied smile curved Asher's lips. "That is good."

Yoon Chansu was stunned. The man before him seemed to view everything—prophecy, disaster, even life itself—as nothing more than a game.

"The SS-rank Gate that is about to open… how will you deal with it?" Yoon Chansu asked nervously.

Asher smirked. "I'll make it explode… in a way no one has ever seen before."

The Prophet's eyes widened in disbelief. He finally realized—this man had not come to save the world. He was here for his own amusement.

"And the others? Will they survive?"

"That depends on their ability," Asher replied indifferently. "If they cannot… then I'll step in."

Yoon Chansu dared not ask further. He now knew the truth: the being before him was a god watching humanity as one might watch a game. Life and death meant nothing to him. And yet… if he chose to intervene, no disaster could ever touch this world.

"Go now. Our conversation is over," Asher said, waving him away.

The Prophet rose, bowing deeply before retreating in silence. As he walked, a sudden pulse coursed through his body.

Ding!

A status window appeared before his eyes.

Name: Yoon Chansu

Gift: Future Sight

Gift (Updated): Future Sight (Enhanced)

Yoon Chansu stared at the glowing words, stunned once more. This man—this god—had given him a gift beyond measure.

And in the very next instant, the bench where Asher had been sitting was empty. He had vanished without a trace.
