Chapter 14 - Chapter 14

After the SS-rank Gate incident in the capital, the story of the mysterious boy in a school uniform was locked away as the Hunter Association's highest-level secret.

Only the top executives and the SSS-rank Hunters knew the truth of his existence.

And yet, rumors still leaked into the world outside—strange whispers spreading like wildfire.

---

In the broadcasting studio of the National Television Network, Yoon Chansu, the renowned Prophet Hunter, sat before the camera for a live interview. The topic: the disappearance of the SS-rank Gate.

"Master Yoon Chansu," the host began eagerly, "as the Prophet who predicted the SS-rank Gate with absolute accuracy, what do you think caused it to vanish in an instant?"

Yoon Chansu's calm, unwavering gaze locked onto the camera. Beneath that serenity lay an unshakable resolve.

"I have encountered someone who lies beyond my prophecies."

The host froze. The audience across the nation fell silent in shock. This was the man whose predictions had never faltered—now admitting there was something he could not see.

"What… do you mean by that?"

"In this world," Yoon Chansu continued, his tone steady yet heavy, "there exists one person whose future I cannot perceive at all. His destiny is a void… a complete blind spot. Yet, at the same time, he holds the power to shape the fate of this entire world."

"Are you saying… that man was the one who erased the Gate?"

"Yes," Yoon Chansu answered without hesitation. "He is the one who made the Gate disappear."

The host leaned forward, his voice trembling with the question on everyone's mind.

"Then… who is he?"

A faint smile tugged at Yoon Chansu's lips.

"He is nothing more than an ordinary young man… in a school uniform. But his power eclipses everything in this world."

The host pressed again, his tone laced with fear.

"And you are not afraid? If he possesses such power… what if he decides to destroy the world?"

"He came here for fun," Yoon Chansu replied simply. His words carried the weight of absolute certainty.

"He bears no malice toward this world. To him, it is merely a game… and everything he does is for his own amusement."

The studio fell utterly silent. Across the nation, countless viewers felt a creeping unease, as though the ground beneath them had vanished. The world's future now rested in the hands of a boy who sought nothing but entertainment.

---

After the broadcast ended, Yoon Chansu returned to his private room. A satisfied smile lingered on his face.

Ding!

A familiar notification echoed in his mind.

[You did well.]

Yoon Chansu did not flinch. He had long known that the boy was watching him—always. He had already made his decision: to follow the path he had foreseen in his heart… to become the chronicler of the Creator God's endless game.
