*Azrael and Null continue fighting, Azrael using gravity to his advantage and trying to land some of his attacks, but Null dodges them with his wind, thunder, and fire elements. Both are very evenly matched, but Azrael has more experience in real combat, while Null compensates with his speed and mobility.*
Azrael: You sure are fast, huh!? —He launches several dark gravitational projectiles—
(Azrael's thoughts)
If he dodges them, I'll have won.
*Azrael stealthily prepares his chains. Meanwhile, Null sees the projectiles and dodges them.*
Null: You're very strong too. I can tell you're used to this kind of thing! —He manages to dodge the last projectile and quickly moves toward Azrael— I won't hold back!
*Azrael laughs mysteriously, and Null, sensing his intentions, stops and manages to evade his chains at high speed, but the chains chase him, and he tries to move at high speed to evade them.*
Null: So that was your plan?
Azrael: How perceptive of you to notice.
*The chains follow Null, and Azrael continues to launch dark projectiles and control gravity to the benefit of the projectiles. But Null uses his wind and electricity to move at an even greater speed and then launches several plasma spheres, counteracting his projectiles.*
Azrael: I admit that you have the precision to hit the core where my magic lies in my abilities, which is why you are able to counteract them.
Null: Let's just say I had to learn the hard way (sigh), but oh well.
*The chains manage to grab one of Null's legs.*
Null: Shit!
*Null tries to break free, but it's impossible.*
Azrael: It's useless. Once it ties you up, you won't be able to escape, because now you're bound physically and spiritually.
Null: I see, that makes sense. —Suddenly, he falls to the ground, feeling tired.— Apparently, that's not the only thing these chains do.
Azrael: Exactly, they can also drain energy, which is how I weaken my enemies. —He approaches Null.— I think I've won.
Null: Is that what you think? (laughs)
Azrael: What?
*Suddenly, for a moment, a sphere of lightning can be seen behind Azrael, and out of nowhere, that sphere transforms into Null.*
Null: You only caught a clone of me!
*Null manages to land a blow on Azrael, who falls to the ground but launches a projectile that hits Null, causing him to fall to the ground as well.*
Azrael: (laughs with excitement) Even with my perception, which I was given in exchange for my omniscience, I couldn't sense you, but the truth is, I can never sense you and I always have to rely on my sight to locate you.
Null: (sighing) I've been told the same thing, that even with omniscience, they can't see or locate me. —He gets up and approaches Azrael— That's why I'm practically invisible unless they see me visually.
Azrael: I understand that it would be difficult for many if they had to rely solely on sight to face you.
*Null holds out his hand and Azrael takes it and stands up*
Null: I think it was a draw (laughs) because even when I attacked you, you also hit me.
Azrael: (sighing) I'll have to accept that, although it will remain pending (laughs) I like you, Null.
Null: (laughs) Same here.
*They bump fists and Nevaeh comes out of the bushes.*
Nevaeh: Is the fight over?
Azrael: (proudly) Of course it's over, and as always, I won.
*Null pats him on the head.*
Null: (also proudly) I could have won, but I didn't want to make you look bad.
Azrael: Oh yeah? How about another duel then?
*Azrael and Null stare defiantly at each other*
Nevaeh: Enough, enough! (Sigh) You two are so alike, just as childish —looks at Null— I'm Nevaeh, Azrael's girlfriend. It's a pleasure to meet you, Null. (smiles)
Null: I see. It's nice to meet you. I see Azrael is very lucky —looks at Azrael— right!
Azrael: Of course I feel lucky —laughs as he hugs Nevaeh— and you, Null, do you have someone?
*Null's smile faded and he looked at the horizon with a melancholic and nostalgic gaze*
Null: I did, but she died in an accident (sighs). Back then, I was still a normal human.
Nevaeh: (empathically) So, it was a long time ago, right?
Null: Yes, but I haven't forgotten her.
Azrael: (in a softer tone) Well, I'm not one to say this, but — looks at Null — could you tell us about it?
Null: Really? — looks at Azrael with surprise but then sighs and says in a nostalgic tone — Well, if you insist.
*Null begins to tell them about his childhood and his story, and also about Elina.*
*After an hour, Null finishes telling his story.*
Null: (sighing) That's my story.
Nevaeh: (almost crying) What a painful life you must have had. I'm surprised you're still here, staying strong.
Azrael: I admit that even I wouldn't have been able to cope without losing my sanity if I had lost what I love most.
*Azrael extends his hand to Null in greeting, and Null is surprised by the gesture but smiles and takes his hand.*
Null: (laughing) I'm glad you listened to me without laughing.
