"And with this we take a short break along with the top 50 of this race going to the next stage and those who didn't make it being eliminated" stated Aizawa lazily.
As they announced that the department of management of UA high took this chance sell some refreshments while at the same time also talking about the various business preposition involving the students who participated in the race as they had no interest in it and thus no student of the management group participated seriously.
"Can I get an energy drink?" Asked midoriya as he raised his arm panting as he made to rank 9 as he rode the explosion that Bakugo created but fell short at the end causing him him to run at the last stretch.
"Sure thing here" said a student of management course as he handed him the drink with a smile.
"Man Bakugo really didn't hold back did he!" Said kirishima as he approached midoriya.
"Nope he was truly serious this time " replied midoriya as he drank the energy drink and passing another to kirishima caught it and drank it he got 11th place.
"Hey deku kun you made it " said Uraraka as she approached him along with Ashido and Hagakure who all made it with Hagakure just barely making it at 51st last place.
"Yah it was a real struggle for me though" replied midoriya.
"But dude your in the top 10 even while being quirkless" said kirishima.
"Huh quirkless?!!" As a management student overheard their conversation as he quickly went up to midoriya.
"Hey are you telling me that your quirkless!!!" He asked aggressively.
"Um.... Yeah?!" Midoriya replied but then suddenly Beru entered the picture even though he hadn't won he was more than satisfied by the result as his tech was already being talked around by sponsors.
"Oi midoriya you remember our agreement right you use my equipment and do the advertising for me right?" Asked Beru.
"Yah I do remember so what do have in mind?" Asked midoriya making Beru smile.
"Oh you'll see" he smiles while rubbing his hands together.
"Wait your from the support department right"asked the management student.
"Yah what about it?" Replied Beru.
"Are you using him to advertise your equipment?" He asked .
"Sure am as he's quirkless making him the best candidate to truly showcase the full capabilities of my tools plus he's my friend" he said proudly.
"Hmmnnn that does sound reasonably good hmmnn " he humms leaving.
"What was that about?" Asked Uraraka.
"Ah nothing just the guy thinking for a way to earn money like always anyway I'll hand it over to you before the next event see yah" said Beru as he ran to get the tool.
" He really has changed hasn't he" said Ashido.
"Yup I'm glad he's been my friend since the start of middle school and it seems like he really has found his calling " said midoriya with a kind smile on his face.
"Hey midoriya, Uraraka you guys made it" said Ilda as he walked towards them.
"Yeah we made it though barely " replied Hagakure.
"Hey at least you made it unlike aoyama over there " said Ashido as she pointed towards aoyama who was currently running towards the toilet.
"Hey be at least a bit more respectful to your classmates " said Ilda as he swung his arms like always.
"Anyway man those foreign students are no joke aren't they" said kirishima.
"Yah like that one guy who was flying around competing with Aoko " replied Ashido.
"Ah yeah I think his name was Bill Armstrong the ace of Skyhigh " said midoriya.
"Yes not only him there's even Nearl Pegasus as well " said lida.
"Yeah and she's so beautiful as well" said Hagakure excitingly.
"Hey if you ask me the guy from England with the electricity quirk is some serious business" said Kaminari who joined in on their conversation he took got in.
"Your just saying that cause he's got a better version of your quirk" said Jiro who was spinning a bottle of energy drink she drank and emptied.
"Though seriously Bakugo's last blast was something else man I heard it all the way from the back it was like a rocket blast" said Sato who joined in as well.
" Then there was that othe foreign student who was flying just like baku bro" said kirishima.
"Actually his name is Warren Pierce and his quirk is methane gas different from Bakugo's nitroglycerin sweat but still it's just as dangerous" said Momo who arrived whole holding a box of extra drinks she got from the management students.
"Man it's like as if they're are a mirror version of us" said Kaminari.
"Nope just you" teased Jiro.
Meanwhile Todoroki stood alone as the right side of his face got a bit of ice covering it due to him overworking his quirk and yet he still refused to use his left flame.
He looked up around the stadium searching for someone and finding nothing as he gritted his teeth as he vowed to win this festival using only his right ice quirk.
He felt frustrated that the fact that he didn't get 1st place infact he didn't even get 2nd but instead he got 4th as during the last moment of the race right after Bakugo had blitz them.
Aoko with her overwhelming strength was able to anchor herself to the ground and thus jumped forward with all her speed seeing this All of the others including himself pushed with all their might but it was at that moment that someone managed to push through.
After Bakugo had passed through he had created a sort of wind tunnel that stayed for a second inside of that tunnel there was no air resistance and thus was the perfect for someone slip through as well.
And that is exactly what that person did where everyone else was pushed out of the way and we're struggling to get their bearings right this person slipstreamed behind Bakugo getting 2nd place.
He's name was Victor pendragon a man who managed to do something that would generally be considered extremely hard even for pros and this guy did it without a single mistake and that too perfectly.
Somehow and someway Todoroki felt uncomfortable around that man and some of the other students who were fighting for the lead at that moment understood this guy was abnormal they didn't know how and why but each of their instincta were telling them the same thing this man victor pendragon was going to be a big challenge for them.
