While Nearl and Ilda were making through the fall with relative ease mainly Nearl on the other hand many of the other students who had just arrived were having various problems with getting through.
"This is just a glorified tightrope walk" as Tsuyu just crawled over the rope like it was nothing well considering that her quirk is frog that allows her to stick to surfaces it wasn't hard.
"Now's my chance to up my appeal" said Mei Hatsume from the support class as she fixes her support gear.
"Wait they allow you to use support items?" Asked Uraraka.
"Hey ochaco even I knew that like look at midoriya" said Ashido.
"And he better be careful with that one I still need to fix his other gauntlet" came a voice from behind the two startling them.
"Eh who?" Asked the two.
"Oh hey Beru came to display your's as well" said Hatsume.
"Of damn freaking course I am and this time it's not going to break anyway to answer your question I'm Beru the guy who made midoriya's equipment and now I'm gonna advertise my tools to the world through midoriya and me" he replied.
"You folks in the hero course train to fight all the time so to keep things fair we of the support class are carrying items and equipment we personally made" said Hatsume.
"And unlike all of you hero course it's not our quirks that's going to be on the spotlight " said Beru as he bend down and squatted getting ready to jump.
"It's our engeneering skills with which we consieve equipments to appeal to the corporations" she says as ropes shoot out of her belt that attached to the other side of the cliff on a pillar.
"And I hope that the corporation that I do attract is a big one!!!" She declares as she reels in her rope and uses her boots that release air burst to soften her landing.
"So how are you gonna cross Beru I'm curious " said Ashido remembering all the time Beru made inventions from literal garbage.
"Watch me" he says as his backpack and boots open up and inside it a chemical reaction occurs and boom jet pack and boots.
"Boooyyyyaaaaaahhhhhhhkkkkkkaaaaassssshhhhhhhaaaaaa!!!" As he flies all the way to the end of the obstacle leaving behind even the lead runners like Aoko and Ilda briefly until he ran out of fuel and was forced to land as he used the same air burst tech as Hatsume to soften his landing.
"And if you want these landing softeners than do call the UA support class everyone" says both Beru and Hatsume as they essentially advertised their inventions.
"Huh he took a page right out of Bakugo's book Nice I want a jet pack too let's go ochaco let's cross" said Ashido as she walked carefully on top of the rope but she wasn't having much difficulty due to her dancing experience.
"Help~" Uraraka on the other hand was having some real difficulty because of a bad start and was currently losing balance.
But came Bakugo and Warren Pierce who came in like missiles being launched flying straight through the fall .
"Warren Pierce quirk: methane exhaust
This quirk allows him release concentrated methane gas from pores present in various parts of his body mainly at the palm of his hands which he ignites with the help of a spark that his body naturally creates and thus flying like a jet engine!!!!!!"
And with the two explosive individuals blasting right through creating a shockwave that blew Uraraka completely off balance causing her to fall.
"Ahhhhhhh"
But just as he was falling a hand caught her and she started swinging which caused her to open her eyes and look around.
"Are you ok?" And there he was like a prince charming midoriya who was swinging using his grappler while holding Uraraka.

"I'll take that as a yes I guess (-///-)"
And so the two swong to the other end of the obstacle without anymore difficulty as he puts her down and awkwardly scratch his neck.
"Thanks let's.... Just keep running " she finally said to which midoriya nodded and started running.
"Oh what do I see here :3" said Ashido with a teasing smile she was going to have fun with this one.
Meanwhile Todoroki was once again in the lead as he utilized his ice to propel himself at such a speed he was outpacing even the flyers like Bill and Nearl.
"Shit man the lead just keeps on changing between those guys"
"Of course like they belong to some really big name family like the Aozaki's"
"The Aozaki like the ancient and powerful family up north with a literal historical site as a house?"
"Yup those Aozaki's"
"Yah and the other girl is from the Pegasus family it was so obvious"
"Damn those are some big names"
"Yup and apparently that kid at the current lead using ice is actually endeavour's son"
"Wait really"
"Yeah that kid's got the blood of the hero of the darkest night endeavour"
"Bloody hell no wonder they're doing so damn well each of them got literal history on their back"
"Pros from all around the world would want those guys for a sidekick"
"Look the foreign heroes are already nothing down their names"
"Well tough luck I heard that the Pegasus family don't do intership and always trains their own"
Conversation like these were common all across the stadium as they talked about the contestants.
But Todoroki who was currently in the lead was having a real difficulty keeping his first spot as Aoko and Bill were keeping up with him no sweat and right behind them were Nearl, Ilda and Warren this was the first time he was truly being pushed to the absolute limits outside of his house.
And so he just kept trying harder to keep his lead as long as possible until he finally reached the last obstacle if this race.
But not before seeing a purple gremlin being thrown into he front from behind him and when Mineta touched the ground it exploded with pure kinetic force no fire causing Mineta to fly yet again.
"And now for the final obstacle as you have just seen in action with the help of our volunteer it's the minefield straight from Rambo baby" Said present mic.
"Don't worry the mines are set to only cause concussion force not powerful enough to cause too much injuries" stated Aizawa.
"Bah seriously I fly man" said Bill as he flew over the minefield.
"No you won't get pass me!!" Shouted Todoroki as he shot forward with all his might catching up to Bill.
"Oh this is fun!!!" Declared Aoko as he jumped with so much force she caused multiple mines to explode as she shot in front like a bullet.
"Then I shall not hold back either" declared Nearl as she slapped her wings even harder.
"Me too" came Crash Astarosh running in like a thunderbolt.
"Make way dufass" shouted Warren as he flew straight like a jet with his quirk but as he was flying he thought there was something missing.
Suddenly everyone on the track felt something causing to in the back to look forward and those in hne lead to look back except for Aoko and kirishima who smiled as they knew what was coming and ran even harder.
"Oi don't you go forgetting about me EXTRASSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!" It was for a single fraction of a second every student on the field felt like as if time stopped moving.
As tiny sparkes shined in the palms of Bakugo which then slowly turned into an explosion the equivalent of an eruption launching himself at the front of the race.
The initial burst was so strong the ground beneath him broke while that behind him was completely blown away which created a sonic boom!! That meant even if was for a single moment Bakugo had reached mach speed.
As him travelling to the front created a wind tunnel due to his speed that caused the entire minefield to explode completely stopping the race and those at the lead push themselves to their limits but alas it wasn't enough.
"I don't hold back against extras !!!!" Declared Bakugo as he sped through all of his competition and crossed the finishing line.
"And the first place for the Obstacle race is Katsuki Bakugo of UA class 1A HERO COURSE!!!!!!"
And thus the first event of the day concluded with a bang.
