Midoriya had to take a pause and stare at the army of villain bots that lied ahead of him thses were the same bots that were used during the entrance exams and he knew that if these are here then maybe....
He didn't have to wait long as three massive shadows emerged from behind the bots these were the massive zero pointer bots something only on the level of Aoko's or Bakugo's quirk could destroy the only other option was cooperation and that didn't seem that plausible right now.
"What the hell are those?!!"
"Are they trying to kill us!!"
"Did they seriously put those in the hero entrance exams"
"How rich is UA again behena"
"Full time amir "
"Will you too stop_ ah hei bhagavaan, mujhe khud ko punah prashikshit karane kee shakti pradaan karo"
"Ah Nani what are you even saying?"
Yeah it was Chaos for everyone here and now he had to figure out a way to get pass the bots when suddenly a massive wave of ice hit one of the zero pointers it was Todoroki as he ran under the frozen bot .
"I froze in a position such that it will fall soon so you better move out NOW!!" He said and everyone scrambled to move out of the way except for two students but midoriya wasn't worried about those two .
As the other students were moving out of the way his instincts as a hero kicked in as he used his grappler to well grab as many students as he could and help them get out of the way not that the teachers and heroes on standby would have allowed them to get hurt but he still did it.
But he wasn't alone as he saw the one who was previously in the lead Nearl Pegasus lifting others and moving out of the way as she chose to help others instead of simply winning.
And eventually the massive bot fell down creating a small shockwave that pushed back a few students Nearl who had seen two students still under the boy turn around in horror.
"Two students are still under the boy we have to help them"
"Don't worry they're fine definitely" replied midoriya.
"Huh?" Reacted Nearl as her ears twitched as she heard the sound of something solid hitting metal.
And bam came out two fist from the downed bot and out came kirishima and Tetsutetsu with the quirks hardening and steel the ultimate spear and shield as present mic announced their quirks.
"Damn it our quirks are too similar" said kirishima as a single year came out.
"Bah whatever let's get back in the race " said Tetsutetsu as he started running.
"Huh i guess they are alright" as Nearl lowers her arm and shrugs and turns her focus to midoriya who was fighting a bot.
Midoriya was currently pulling the head of a 3 pointer bot with all his might under any normal circumstances his actions would be considered stupid and sucidal and they would be correct if it was over 200 years ago as with the arrival of quirk came the increased capabilities of mankind like increased strength, durability and stamina way above the norm 200 years ago even without quirks.
That means midoriya was able to rip the boys head right out of it's body like plucking a stubborn radish or potato from the ground.
Midoriya eventually noticed that Nearl was looking at him as she gives him a thumbs up causing midoriya to blush a bit.
Somehow somewhere Uraraka just felt a bit weird she didn't know why but she focused on running and getting pass the robo inferno.
"Alright then it's about time I get back to the race even if I'd like to help the other students this is still a competition so then farewell" she said as she bend down and ran kicking up a massive dust cloud behind her in the process.
As he watched her go midoriya too decided that he should continue in the race but not before taking the shield that the 3 pointer bot had for an arm as he used it as an impromptu shield and weapon against the other bot.
Just as he started running he heard what sounded like sonic booms approaching from behind him causing him to brace himself it was the correct choice as one of the 0 pointer bot now had 2 holes in them.
He was able to quickly identify the cause of the destruction it was infact Aoko going at 30%power as she flew like an arrow and used her leg like the top of said arrow as she blew a hole straight through the bot's mid section.
While the other came in like a bullet as he punched straight through the bot's head with both his fist in front he was infact Bill Armstrong.
"Wow will you look at the power behind those two punched straight through the zero pointer bot like as if it was nothing!!!" Shouted Present mic.
"Bill Armstrong quirk: superman
Just like the famed comic book super hero this kid has super strength, durability and flight along with increased reaction speed and stamina like seriously is he really superman straight from the comic books"
"Not bad girl" Bill says as he winks at Aoko.
"Fuck off"replies Aoko as she flips him off as she continues running.
And with that the robo inferno became quiet again as midoriya use his shield to destroy another bot and finally get through the first obstacle and ran.
He ran as he looked behind him as momo creates cannons to destroy the bots and Uraraka used her quirk to drop the bots to their doom and so many others struggling to get through.
But he turns around as he had to get a noticeable placement in this event as to make an impression for the pros who would be watching.
This was his chance to show the world that even he a quirkless can become a hero and so he puts more power into his legs and ran with all his might.
Meanwhile at the front Todoroki was already now longer in the lead as Nearl and Ilda had quickly passed him by with their quirks especially suited for running in straight line.
And right now both of them were running at top speed one with the power of modern day engine on legs and the other powered by the force of mythology in flesh as both actually recognised the other.
"I didn't think I'd get to meet you again sir TENYA ILDA" said Nearl as she ran side by side with him.
"Yes I didn't think so either but it's always a pleasure miss Pegasus" replied Ilda with a smile on his face as he increased the gear in his engine legs.
As for how the two knew each other simple they were both from a lineage of legacy heroes with Ilda from the ingenium line with the current ingenium being his brother and Nearl from the radiance knight lineage with her father and brother being the current radiant knights.
This was a something that happened years ago where the various legacy hero Lineages met with eachother as to form friendship and partnership with those of other countries.
The two had formed a sort of rivalry as kids especially over running due to their quirks and they had very much enjoyed their rivalry and as they ran they smiled as they relived their childhood it was a bit of nostalgia.
And it was ruined by the reemergence of a certain purple grape gremlin.
"I got you now first place will be mine
GRAPE RU-"
He never got to complete his sentence as the two runners stopped due to the next obstacle in front of them that being.
"Ahhhhhhh-"
As Mineta plunges into the abyss.
"Now everyone it's time for the second obstacle if you think the first one was easy then how about this one of yah fall you're out of don't agree maybe you can crawl out it's the FALL!!!!" Declared present mic.
As in front of the students was a giant pit with stone pillars and connected them were steel cables to help crossing and down below were nets to catch anyone who fell.
"Well this is a predicament" said Ilda as he looks down.
"Now not really especially not for them" replied Nearl as she points behind her at the fast approaching Aoko, Crash and Bill with the last one having the ability to fly making this challenge redundant for him.
"Uh huh..... Well see you at the finish line miss Nearl" said Ilda as he took a deep breath and got ready to make an impressive impression for the pro heroes when he takes the internship that was fast approaching but also because of mainly because.
"It's safe to assume that my brother is also watching so I really can't let him see me being lame!!!" He said as he slides across the rope while T- posing.
"THAT'S LAME THOUGH!!" said present mic on the mic.
Seeing this Nearl laughs as she wipes a year off her eyes.
"You really haven't changed have you Ilda always the awkward straight forward boy who loves his brother" she said as she takes a deep breath and opens her uniform to expose her back and from it sprouts wings.
"But I can feel what you mean and i can't disappoint my family either!!" She said as she flaps her wings and burst forward at full speed.
And so the race continues.
A/N: I have no intention of creating any romantic relationship right now outside of the midoriya and Uraraka one as that is cannon as far as I know, so no Ilda and Nearl aren't a thing they are childhood rivals only .
