"Third Kazekage has disappeared!"
Entire Sunagakure was in chaos. It's strongest Kazekage in history, Third Kazekage, suddenly disappeared.
In a high-level meeting, all important ninjas gathered, headed by the two honoured elders, Chiyo and Ebizo.
The meeting was attended by top Jonins currently present in the village. Rasa, Pakura, Zero Two and some more.
Especially Sasori.
The ANBU Commander said, "We found Hatake Sakumo sneaking around Land of Wind two days ago!"
Chiyo shouted, "He must have killed Third Kazekage! Only he is capable of it!"
Rasa shouted, "Then we must get revenge on Konoha!"
While the entire high ranking Jonin council was being hot-headed and angry, Sasori and Zero Two continued to be silent, with their eyes close.
Sasori, because he was the one who killed Third Kazekage, aiming to get revenge on Sakumo by framing him this way. Well, he is usually detached and the silent type.
Zero Two was silent because, 'The killer is Among Us.'
As a reincarnator, she knew that Sasori killed Third Kazekage.
And well, she was also the silent type in these meaningless meetings.
16 years ago, she reincarnated into the world of Naruto as Zero Two.
She has a very strong body compared to normal ninjas, great agility, high chakra volume, and some things she seems to have inherited from being a clone of the Klaxosaur Princess.
Like, Telepathy through her horns. It wasn't really strong at first, but with training and becoming proficient in Yin release, it is really strong. Like a Yamanaka for others, and absolute control over her Klaxosaurs and those who have Klaxosaur blood.
The second thing she inherited was the ruined world of the Darling in Franxx when she used Summoning Jutsu without signing a contract on purpose, because she was suspicious that it might be Klaxosaurs.
Exploring that world so far, she has seen weeds growing from the ground everywhere, and a civilization's ruin. Was it called a 'Plantation'?
Well, aside from those, remains of Klaxosaurs and two living Klaxosaurs who came out on her command.
The Plantation was mostly unharmed, so she has been busy recreating the technology present there. Thankfully, the Plantation she found was the main one.
So, it has the library. And well, the more advanced ones, blueprints and such were stored digitally. Thankfully, some computers still work, and she can charge their batteries with Lightning Release.
She also found where most of the humans of this world were in cryosleep, dreaming like Infinite Tsukuyomi. But without power for who knows how long? Everyone's body have been decomposed.
It was disgusting to throw out hundreds of thousands of those rotting bodies out of the precious cryosleep containers and bury them into the ruined soil where only weeds can grow.
Anyway, as she is 16 now, she is an Elite Jonin of Suna. Well, 'Elite' Jonin isn't really a rank, but it's like, you can't just put Kakashi and Kurenai in the same rank, right?
She is Suna's best Genjutsu specialist and Kenjutsu user, along with being an all-rounder that comes with being an Elite Jonin.
Along with her two giant Klaxosaurs, she is a powerhouse. But she still considers herself as a low to mid-tier Kage. Stronger than current Rasa, Pakura and Sasori, but she doesn't want to put herself in danger against Orochimaru and Jiraiya.
According to her information, Minato is just 15. But according to the one-shot, he might have as well learnt basic versions of Flying Thunder God.
By the end of war, he will be a High-tier Kage. Equal to a tag-team of Fourth Raikage and Killer Bee. Two very strong Kage ninjas.
Anyway, aside from that, according to Minato's age, if the Third Ninja war will erupt now, it will last for 7-8 years, with no benefit.
She would rather study the technology.
While she doesn't have ambition to become Fourth Kazeage, it doesn't seem like she has any choice.
When Third Kazekage was alive, she hid about the technological advanced world. He was Rasa's teacher and father. And student of Second Kazekage, who experimented on him with Shukaku's chakra to give him Magnet Release.
So if she became powerful in Third Kazekage's eyes, she would have been eliminated.
She was waiting for him to die.
Also, Rasa can't be allowed to become Fourth Kazekage. Because he will try to eliminate her just like he did with Pakura.
And aside from being Gaara's sperm donor in around a decade in future, he doesn't have any single good quality.
Defecting might not be that bad, but she needs to access the Ryumyaku and Gelal Stones. Doing it as Kazekage will be much easier.
Most honest reason, she doesn't like these shit-heads in power.
So, she is going to expose Sasori, kill him and become the Kazekage.
After everyone started discussing about starting a war Suna will absolutely loose, Zero Two abruptly stood up.
"Elder Chiyo, are you trying to cover-up Third Kazekage's death by blaming it on Konoha?"
"Huh!? What do you—"
As everyone was surprised by the sudden accusation, Zero Two suddenly slammed a Rasengans on Sasori sitting beside her.
"Gah!"
Everyone raised their weapons, but Zero Two casually looked at Sasori who was heavily injured.
"Sasori, wouldn't you tell where you hid Kazekage-sama's body?"
"I don't know what you mean. I didn't kill him."
Chiyo slammed her hand on the table.
"Enough! Zero! On what basis are you accusing Sasori!? It's obviously the job of Sakumo!"
"Because Sasori was thinking about deserting the village amidst war. And that he needs to turn Third Kazekage into a human puppet as soon as possible before his body starts rotting."
She opened her breast pocket, and took out a mosquito drone.
"This should have the spying footage of Sasori that Third Kazekage requested. Let me retrieve my computer—"
Sasori didn't understand what a computer is. But as a puppet master, as soon as he saw that small mosquito, he understood that it is too advanced of a puppet.
And he remembered Zero Two coming to his lab some months ago when he was busy with creating a puppet that she found the ruins of an 'interesting civilization' and wanted tools for digging, and her winking to keep it a secret for now before she has a result.
So it meant that Third Kazekage might have already noticed his intentions and told her to spy on him.
Afterall, he agreed to keep it a secret if she gave him the high grade steel piece that she showed him for his puppet. The steel was of much higher quality than the rest of the world.
She must have reported that he kept it secret from Third Kazekage.
And even if he had doubts, since he did indeed kill Third Kazekage and was mostly unable to fight right now, he didn't have the patience to gamble on this strange puppet not having his footage and Zero Two taking such a huge gamble without evidence.
So he activated the secret mechanism of one of his puppet in his pocket, and burst a smoke bomb which also had an instant paralysis agent which will last for a day for those who don't have immunity against it.
Everyone except Chiyo got instantly paralysed and fell down in the smoke, and Sasori immediately started running away.
Chiyo looked in horror as she realised that Sasori ran away. Sasori, her grandson was really guilty?
Or did he just panic and run away?
