"Oh, so the Moon Bunnies shifted here." After connecting to a few Avatars, Grandmaster Ruu understood what the Nuf Empire was.
Recently, a member of the Moon Rabbit Clan had successfully undergone her second Ki Transformation. Pleased with the newest addition to their ranks, the leader of the Were-Rabbit Tribe had bestowed her a Life-Planet.
"Maybe I should…"
"What did you say?!!" The moment she heard the words Moon Bunnies, the Were-Rabbit instantly lost her temper and launched an attack at Grandmaster Ruu.
Of all things, the members of the Moon Rabbit Clan hated being called Bunnies the most.
Sometimes, hearing these words could even drive members of the Moon Rabbit Clan into a berserk state.
The same happened to Gyu, the Empress of the Moon-Rabbit Clan.
"Why do they hate being called Bunnies so much?" Grandmaster Ruu sighed at the sight of her losing control. Among the Were-Rabbit Tribe, the word Bunny is often used affectionately for their young ones. But for the Moon Rabbits, it is a taboo. An insult that could not be tolerated.
Not wanting to waste time, Grandmaster Ruu casually punched the giant Ki Rabbit, scattering it into pieces.
Even after losing a massive amount of Ki, Gyu didn't care. She charged straight at him in her base form.
Thud!!!!
The moment her punch struck Grandmaster Ruu's Soul Body, a sonic boom echoed through the empty void of space.
"Too reckless." Looking down at the tiny Were-Rabbit in her primal form, furiously hammering at his foot, Grandmaster Ruu couldn't help but feel pity for her.
Moon Rabbits were initially Moon Bunnies, mindless monsters living on the moon of Planet Trafer, home world of the Were-Rabbits.
However, as more and more Moon Bunnies awakened and slowly developed intelligence, they began to despise their fellow tribesmen for their lack of wit.
At one point in history, the awakened Moon Bunnies purged their kin and renamed themselves Moon Rabbits.
"That's enough!" Retracting his Dragon Soul back into his human body, Grandmaster Ruu forcefully bound her in chains made of Soul power.
Taking the restrained Gyu, still in her berserk state, Grandmaster Ruu headed toward Planet Nuf.
"What is going on? Why is there no reply from the Empress?" As Grandmaster Ruu slowly approached in his human form, the Were-Rabbits were already in full panic.
"I was right, we shouldn't have left our homeworld. See how following that girl has gotten us in so much trouble."
"Don't be ridiculous. The benefits you gained from following the Empress are endless. But the moment trouble comes knocking, you're the first to throw her under the bus."
"Everything I achieved was through my own efforts. She just gave me some resources. Resources which I would have earned eventually if I had stayed with the Tribe."
"Like I don't know about your miserable combat skills."
"Enough! Stop fighting. We should focus on the enemy." With a wave of his wand, the Old Moon-Rabbit silenced the two bickering clansmen.
Hearing the words of the Old Moon-Rabbit, both the Moon Rabbit and the Wind Rabbit stopped fighting and focused on the screen before them.
On the screen, Grandmaster Ruu could be seen heading toward their world, holding Empress Gyu captive.
"Activate defensive formation." Under the Old Moon-Rabbit's command, the defensive equipment, magic formations, rune formations, along with countless attack formations, were activated and locked onto Grandmaster Ruu.
"Old man, do you think this is a good idea?" Sensing the overwhelming aura of Grandmaster Ruu, the Were-Rabbit of the Wind Rabbit Clan couldn't help but ask.
Although the strength of both of them was equal, the old Were-Rabbit was a First Transformation Magic Transcendent, thousands of years older than him and seasoned through many battles.
"In these situations, attacking first can consume some of the attacker's reserves," the old Were-Rabbit spoke from experience.
Because of the Sunlight Essence formed on Trafer's Moon, it was constantly attacked by adventurers seeking the resource.
Thus, ages of constant harassment had enabled the Moon-Rabbits to develop a strong planetary defense system. Which they later brought with them to Planet Nuf.
"Attack.…" As Grandmaster Ruu drew closer to Planet Nuf, countless elemental, rune, and energy attacks shot straight at him.
However, many attacks had no effect, as they could barely scratch the shields he deployed using his Soul Power.
Attacks that managed to penetrate the first layer of shields were stopped by the second. If they passed the second, they were blocked by the third, and so on.
Under the countless bombardments of various attacks, Grandmaster Ruu slowly entered the World of Nuf.
"This… why… how!!" Inside the command centre, the old Were-Rabbit and many others shook in their boots.
They couldn't believe someone could withstand an all-out attack from their proud defense system.
With their defenses utterly failing and Gyu still struggling in Grandmaster Ruu's grasp, they lost all will to fight and knelt on the ground, begging for mercy.
"Oh Great Dragon Lord, please have mercy!!!" As Grandmaster Ruu arrived at the most bustling city on the face of Planet Nuf, he heard a voice chant throughout the city.
"Eh?" Seeing millions of Were-Rabbits prostrate on the ground, Grandmaster Ruu was a little lost for words. He had been welcomed by countless worlds before, but this was the first time he faced such a strange situation.
Looking over, he noticed a mage with a good soul. So, Grandmaster Ruu privately sent him a message.
"This…" Hearing the voice, the old Were-Rabbit mage instantly got up, walked toward Grandmaster Ruu under the horrified gazes of the crowd, and respectfully called out.
"Greetings, Lord Saint! I am terribly sorry for the misunderstanding." Seeing the old Were-Rabbit mage respectfully call out, the expressions of the people instantly turned from fear for their lives to overwhelming joy.
They couldn't believe their ears. A Saint was standing before them.
"Greetings, Lord Saint!!! May Your Majesty's blessings be with you!!!"
In the blink of an eye, the chant of begging for mercy changed into a chant of reverence.
"No need to get so worked up. I am in a hurry and need to use the teleportation formation; can you arrange it?" Scanning the crowd, Grandmaster Ruu turned to the old mage and asked.
"Of course, Lord Saint! I will immediately charge the Teleportation formation." With a wave of his wand, the old Were-Rabbit mage disappeared.
"Take care of her, will you. And be careful, she still hasn't regained her consciousness." As the old mage left, Grandmaster Ruu turned to a Transcendent standing nearby and handed him Gyu, still bound in Soul Chains.
"Ye…Yes… Lord Saint!" The Wind Rabbit, shaking with excitement, carefully took Empress Gyu away.
