Chapter 73 - Chapter 7: Lion Heart

"Let's go." Signaling the Moon-Rabbit Transcendent to follow, Grandmaster Ruu entered the Nuf Palace.

Boiling with nervousness and excitement, the Moon-Rabbit followed behind, completely forgetting that he was supposed to guide.

Seeing his state, Grandmaster Ruu didn't bother and instead scanned the entire palace with his Soul Power before heading straight toward the Teleportation Room.

After a few minutes, both arrived at their destination. Inside, the old Were-Rabbit mage was feeding large amounts of glowing crystals into a pit inscribed with thousands of formations and runes.

Using various spells, he continuously pulled Ki Crystals from the palace vault, charging the teleportation formation.

"Do you have access to the Rucant star system?" Grandmaster Ruu asked the Moon-Rabbit Transcendent as he watched the formation being powered.

"Replying to Lord Saint, currently we only have access to Trafer. However, Trafer might have access to Rucant," the Moon-Rabbit Transcendent spoke slowly, making sure he wasn't talking gibberish.

"Trafer is good." Knowing that the teleportation formation would only lead to Trafer, home planet of the Were-Rabbits, Grandmaster Ruu contacted his Avatar stationed there and asked him to arrange things.

Half an hour later, the teleportation formation was fully charged and ready to go.

"Thank the Bunny for me when she wakes up." Saying so, Grandmaster Ruu disappeared, leaving Planet Nuf.

Hearing the word Bunny, the Moon-Rabbit's Transcendent teeth began to turn into fangs. Seeing this, the old mage instantly cast a spell to calm him down.

"Will we ever be able to break this curse?" Putting the Moon-Rabbit to sleep, the old Were-Rabbit mage mumbled to himself in a lonely, sad voice.

__________

"Greetings, Lord Saint!!" When Grandmaster Ruu appeared on the other end of the Teleportation formation, he was warmly greeted by the Leader of the Were-Rabbit Tribe along with his many subordinates.

In the corner of the Teleportation Room, his Avatar sat silently.

"Is everything ready?" Instead of asking his Avatar, Grandmaster Ruu turned to the Leader of the Were-Rabbit Tribe.

"Yes, Lord Saint, everything is ready!" the Leader replied excitedly as his big belly jiggled.

"So, what's the wait?" Grandmaster Ruu grew a little impatient. It had been twenty-eight years since he left Frokuin.

"Lord Saint, I have prepared a banquet. It has our most renowned moon cake, ..." Without noticing the urgency in Grandmaster Ruu's voice, the Leader of the Were-Rabbit Tribe began listing the dishes he had prepared.

"Kzy, I am in a hurry, how about another day." While speaking, Grandmaster Ruu leaked a slight bit of his aura.

"Ye…Yes, Lord Saint." With somewhat trembling hands, Kzy, the leader of the Were-Rabbit Tribe, signaled his subordinate to open the formation.

Soon, a bright blue light flashed, and Grandmaster Ruu disappeared from Planet Trafer.

"I told you, the main body was in a hurry." The Avatar of Grandmaster Ruu turned to the trembling Kzy and said in a teasing tone.

"But… didn't you say Moon Cakes are your favorite?" Kzy had been friends with the Avatar of Grandmaster Ruu for years, and he felt betrayed.

"Moon Cake is indeed all our favorite, but as I told you, the main body had something important to do." The Avatar of Grandmaster Ruu raised his hands in the air, indicating I told you so.

__________

"Ruu, what are you doing here?" As Grandmaster Ruu appeared in the teleportation room, an arrogant voice sounded along with a majestic aura.

"Lion Heart, currently I am in a hurry. Can you send me to Rucant?" Ignoring the questioning look of Saint Lion Heart, Grandmaster Ruu requested him to lead the teleportation formation to the Rucant star system.

"No worries. First, we shall deal with our unfinished business." Saint Lion Heart wasn't willing to budge.

The war between the Were-Beast Race and the Dragon Race had only ceased a mere five thousand years ago. Before that, they had been mortal enemies; especially the Were-Lion Tribe and the Soul Dragon Clan.

"After all you've done, you dare to show your face before me!!!" Saint Lion Heart roared as he threw a punch at Grandmaster Ruu, infused not only with his powerful Ki but also the force of Laws themselves.

The strike's power was overwhelming. Grandmaster Ruu's Soul Power couldn't withstand it, and he was sent flying out of the teleportation formation.

He only managed to stop himself after crashing through several buildings.

[Secret Art: Rebound]

Knowing he couldn't stop the next incoming attack, Grandmaster Ruu activated his Secret Art, reflecting all the damage back toward Saint Lion Heart.

The second punch was millions of times stronger than the first, and like a rocket, Grandmaster Ruu shot straight toward outer space.

"You bastard." Feeling tremendous pain out of nowhere, Saint Lion Heart instantly realized Grandmaster Ruu had used his famous [Rebound].

"What is he up to?" Stabilizing himself in the space above Terra, Grandmaster Ruu frowned. The fight between Saints had been strictly forbidden by His Majesty; even Third Transformation Transcendents required permission to resolve personal grudges.

So why was Saint Lion Heart acting like this? Countless thoughts raced through Grandmaster Ruu's mind.

Meanwhile, Saint Lion Heart left Terra and appeared before him, face to face.

"Lion Heart, if we continue, the Royal Guards will be mobilized." Seeing that Saint Lion Heart had no intention of stopping, Grandmaster Ruu gave a stern warning.

"Royal Guards…" At the mention of those words, Saint Lion Heart froze. After a few moments of silence, he finally spoke again.

"You can go to Rucant. But if you dare set foot on Terra again, I'll make sure the only way you leave is through the Gate of Reincarnation."

Seeing Lion Heart lose all desire to fight at the mere mention of the Royal Guards, Grandmaster Ruu wore a smug expression as he followed him back to the teleportation room.

"I'll send the bill for all three trips to Frokuin." Just as Grandmaster Ruu was about to depart, Saint Lion Heart reminded him.
