Chapter 46 - Chapter 45

Everyone watched in surprise and disbelief at what was happening to the demon leader, wondering if he was finally going to fall.

Naruto's wives and daughters were too shocked to react to seeing their father paralyzed, but only Kaguya understood how dangerous that technique was and what could happen if it was completed.

Kaguya raised her hand and extended her palm, but stopped when she noticed a flash of light.

"What troublesome children."

BOOOOOOOM…

A soft voice, followed by an explosion where Naruto had been, echoed as an intense light shone. In the sky, a figure appeared, completely covered in a white toga that also hid her face. The clearly feminine figure shone with light, but the truly shocking thing was the twelve wings on her back, as dark as night, and in her arms she held none other than Naruto.

Naruto snapped out of his daze and blinked when he realized he was being held.

Naruto: Thank you, Gabriel… – he said softly to his wife, who had accepted him when, after falling and being lost, he became her light when God "abandoned" her.

Gabriel smiled faintly beneath her toga, her deep, dull green eyes blinking.

"YOU… YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOU'VE DONE!"

Hagoromo roared, having lost his surprise attack, knowing he wouldn't get another chance and had revealed himself. But what really shocked him was that this unknown person had destroyed his Chibaku Tensei—no one should be able to do that.

"Kuchiyose no Jutsu!"

Several explosions were heard as eight colossal creatures appeared, instantly charging several spheres of power.

Hagoromo stopped in his fury and turned his head as he saw the bijū—his children—appear, but their eyes… Wait, how did their mother escape?

Hagoromo didn't finish the thought when a hand grabbed his face tightly.

Naruto tightened his grip, veins bulging in his hands.

Naruto: Heh, such pathetic trash, attacking from behind… – he mocked, his expression twisting.

Shiva took a step forward, only to be intercepted by Gabriel.

Gabriel: That old man is worthy of going to the light… He has many sins on his conscience, and he needs to be judged, just like anyone who tries to interfere… – he said with an amused smile beneath his toga.

Shiva wore a serious expression.

Shiva: Do you think you can defeat me, fallen girl?… – he asked with genuine curiosity. Yes, she had enormous magical power, but compared to him she was nothing. At most, she would only cause some trouble for Indra.

Gabriel smiled.

Gabriel: There are beings I cannot purify due to power limitations, but I can help someone else do it… You see, all demons have a limit, no matter if they surpass others, are prodigies or whatever. The Great Father cannot have creations that could one day surpass Him, but… there is something capable of breaking that limit… Besides, I am the Judge of the World… – she explained calmly as she took a trumpet from her robes and brought it to her lips, to Shiva's growing curiosity.

A thunderous trumpet blast resounded.

Naruto and Hagoromo, who were being hit by the Tailed Beast Bombs, suddenly froze. An intense light began to emanate from Naruto's body. He did not let go of Hagoromo, who tried to stab him with another black rod that simply warped and dissolved.

"AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH…"

A horrifying scream echoed from none other than Naruto, who was beginning to be covered in strange markings. Beneath his eyes, two more eyes appeared and then exploded, leaving empty sockets from which a black substance oozed.

Hagoromo watched with his third eye, horrified by this strange transformation and the energy trying to devour him—his soul.

Lilith frowned; it was the first time she had heard such a pitiful scream from Naruto, and she understood why when two pairs of white wings appeared on his back, followed by the demon wings—a total of thirteen wings. But the white wings were the problem. Naruto was a pure-blood demon… Wait, that bitch Gabriel is experimenting.

A sound like static crackled through the air as a massive pressure flooded the battlefield, forcing several people to their knees—including the stunned heroes who were supposed to be humanity's hope.

"GRRRRRAAAAAAAHHHH…"

A powerful roar echoed, sending a massive pulse of energy from Naruto's body outward.

Shiva's eyes widened in surprise. The power was clearly greater than before, and his appearance was anything but normal.

Hagoromo blinked when he met a pair of dark, icy eyes, as black as night, around which yellow rings began to form, resembling a… Rinnegan.

The extra eyes beneath the yellow ones underwent a similar transformation as the mouth of that thing split open, revealing teeth similar to a shark's. Its hands… were no longer hands.

Hagoromo didn't finish observing when he sensed someone appear behind this monster.

"YOU, demon… This ends here."

Indra shouted, glaring at the back of this strange and undeniably horrifying monster, whose body was shrouded by the darkness of night. With the lack of light, clouds covering the moon, and the late hour, it truly looked terrifying—over two hundred meters tall.

"THUNDER!"

A thunderclap echoed in the sky, briefly illuminating the field as the rain, which had stopped, began to fall again. But instead of being encouraged, several fighters felt their stomachs sink into emptiness. The raindrops soaking them did not inspire them—they filled them with despair. These were none other than the members of the hero group.

"Hahahahaha, Dad's going all out. Are we done with these heroes yet?"

Kilmaria, in her true form, mocked the group of heroes, who stared at her silently, as well as at her sisters. The two sides had regrouped, and the heroes' side clearly looked worse, both in their breathing and their injuries.

"The sexiest dragon has entered the battlefield! Say hello to UNCLE-SAMA, heroes!"

A flash of concern crossed the heroes' faces when two unknown women appeared beside the demons. They looked injured, but still full of energy.

Kilmaria and her group smiled at the sight of two of their mothers now present.

Uncle smirked and glanced oddly across the battlefield before her eyes settled on that thing that radiated her partner's energy—so chaotic and sexy.

After roaring, Indra fell silent and motionless. He was on high alert against this being that threatened his ambitions. If it hadn't come to this, they might have become allies or ignored it altogether, but now it had become a problem he had to eliminate.

"GRRRRRAAAAAAAHHHH…"

The Jūbi didn't stay calm for long and roared again, as if activating a field-wide effect.

Hagoromo suddenly felt himself lose all sensation in his lower body and was abruptly hurled downward, much to his disbelief.

"My!"

Hagoromo, who was falling in a daze, heard a voice so familiar it made him tremble, just before intense pain exploded in his forehead.

Kaguya, who had materialized, went straight for Hagoromo's forehead to take his third eye. Not bothering to escape with her special ability, brazenly showing off her severed horn, she tore the eye out.

"AAAAAAAAHHHHH, MOOOTHEEERRR…"

Kaguya remained unfazed and absorbed the eye's energy, recovering some of her chakra.

Hagoromo tried to move his hands when he saw his mother reach for his other two eyes, only to realize he no longer had hands… or legs… or even a torso.

Without hesitation, Kaguya dug her nails in, and amidst the falling rain the eerie sound of organs being torn apart was muffled.

Kaguya: My filial son, I would torture you, but I know you're a coward who conspires and would never fight alone or without a plan. I know about your prophecy, and I will enjoy guiding those children. I have seen them, and they will not be your puppets… You won't be able to influence them—they are part demon… Your plans, your goals, and your schemes end here. I will reclaim my chakra… – she said as a smile spread across her face.

"NOOOOOOOOOOO…"

Hagoromo roared. His backup plan in case he died had been exposed… No, it wasn't fair. Everything had to go exactly as he'd thought and imagined it. He was God… the father of the ninja world and of everyone, not his mother. She was a mad tyrant. He was the savior… the only one who could guide the world.

Even in his final moments and in agony, Hagoromo didn't believe he'd made any mistakes. He had always guided the ninja world toward peace, just as he desired. That was why he had severed the bond between Madara and Hashirama when they tried to unify the ninja world. They believed themselves to be gods… and they paid for their transgression. He was the only god, and only he decided when peace would come—no one else.

Kaguya sighed as she felt a vast amount of energy flow into her body—the original source. Her filial son at least served as an excellent source of chakra.

Kaguya glanced at the White Zetsu in front of her and disintegrated it before turning her gaze to the group controlling the beasts against that chained dragon.

Kaguya vanished through a portal.

Indra was in a bad position. Maybe he had bitten off more than he could chew, since the strange energy of this monster interfered with his unique God Magic. Even though he was stronger, without his special magic he might as well be a low-ranked god.

Indra dodged a swipe at his face from those claws before crashing into something.

"Leave it to me."

Indra turned and looked at Shiva in surprise. Is he saving me?

Naruto pointed his finger at the lovestruck pair as a torrent of energy began to gather around him.

Both gods frowned when they saw that green energy; this demon's powers had always been…

FLUSSSSH…

BOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMM…

A powerful explosion followed as Naruto, Indra, and Shiva appeared in the sky, trading blows at high speed, leaving only flashes where they had been.

Odin jumped in to support the gods while Thor intercepted Amaterasu.

"LET THERE BE LIGHT!"

"AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH…"

"MOM, GABRIEL…"

"SUBMISSION OF THE MADWOMAN AFFECTS ENEMIES AND ALLIES…"

"GRRRRRAAAAAAAHHHH…"

Acnologia roared, sending that strange eight-tailed beast flying, and began to thrash violently, trying to break free from the golden chains that completely covered him. They even prevented him from releasing his transformation in order to escape and transform again. No one besides that ten-tailed thing should be able to face him; their energies were useless against him.

"HOLD IT DOWN… USE YOUR TAILS… MADARA, SUSANOO…"

Kushina roared orders, tightening her chains. This dragon wasn't giving her any time to begin her seals, and if she lost this opportunity, he would never allow himself to be captured again.

Madara guided his full-body Susanoo to the dragon's back and sat on it, making the earth tremble.

Mikoto: He's so stubborn… – she muttered, tears of blood spilling from her eyes. Even with the imposing Susanoo, the dragon did not bow, still firmly held by its legs yet not subdued.

Rin, who was being protected by Hilda, swallowed hard. She didn't understand anything about what was happening, not really… She wasn't as informed as her ninja superiors and had only come because her boyfriend had promised her a normal, happy life, and now—demons, angels, dragons… Hilda hadn't even finished explaining the world's culture to her, and she was already in a war.

Hilda: Get ready, Rin… – she said seriously, sharing a silent look with Kushina, who understood.

Rin nodded silently.

Naruto bit into an unsuspecting Indra's shoulder, making him scream, then followed up with a headbutt that sent him flying backward, finishing him off with an intensely hot dark sphere.

BOOOOOOM…

Shiva stepped into Naruto's range, destruction energy swirling around him.

Naruto stepped back, but Shiva didn't allow it. He shifted to a different plane to negate all of the demon's strange abilities and instantly appeared in front of him—only to turn and stop a gigantic spear of light with a mere look.

Naruto quickly brushed against the energy surrounding Shiva before jumping back. He noticed the tip of his claw had vanished… This energy was more dangerous than before. His claw was an extension of his body, as strong as he was. If they destroyed his soul, there would be no return for him, and the worst part was that he still hadn't found a damn way to negate that ability. Not even Gabriel's Burning Blessing was enough.

Shiva sighed as Gabriel fell from the sky, then turned to look at Naruto in the distance, who was watching him warily.

Shiva: You are strong, boy—stronger than many. But your mind is unstable. You are a threat to my people and my faction. I will eliminate you along with your remnants. It's nothing personal, and I don't take sides… You have earned my respect, and for that reason, you will personally die by my hand. They will tell the story of a demon who was great enough for the God of Destruction himself to consider him a threat worthy of elimination… – he said calmly, glancing sideways at Odin, who was approaching, and sending him flying with a blow. He is neutral.

Odin was launched away, colliding with that ten-tailed beast, which was now attacking recklessly, with no target.

Shiva looked at the strange ten-tailed being. After the demon, that was the second threat to deal with, and… wait, "second"?

Shiva: Don't you have two mothers?… – he asked the demon curiously.

Naruto smiled mysteriously but didn't answer, much to Shiva's confusion. He hadn't seen her appear at any moment… very strange. And then there was that demon who meticulously controlled the underworld—Azula.

Ophis, who was observing everything from within the clouds, sighed and looked at that ten-tailed thing. It was strong and strange… Together with that giant snake and herself, they could drag Red Baka out of his lair, but first she had to save the one controlling them.

Ophis focused her gaze on that strange being—the demon, stronger than Rizevim… He was more useful to her.

Ophis disappeared in a swirl of dark smoke.

Naruto considered merging with Ddraig and unleashing his full power, then rejected the idea. It would only grant him borrowed time and a single suicidal attack in which he would die anyway. He preferred to die with style.

Naruto's hands glowed red. If he was going to die, he would clearly take them all with him. Satan wanted out and also shared a fragment of his soul, just like the Ten-Tails. Maybe he could watch what came next a little longer.

A smug smile spread across Naruto's face. He just wanted to watch the world burn, so to hell with it.

Shiva prepared to eliminate Naruto in the blink of an eye, only for a small figure to suddenly appear in front of him.

Ophis: He's mine. Step back and I'll let you live… – she said monotonously to Shiva, who frowned, recognizing the energy of that girl.

Shiva: He's a threat, not even you should intervene… I'll take him down whether you interfere or not… – he said seriously, looking at the dragon, who gave a dry smile, her dull eyes seeming amused.

Ophis: Impossible. Just as the difference between you and him is clear and vast… the difference between you and me is immense. I can kill you and go on to destroy your faction… I can come and go before you can even move… And even if I don't intervene, if he dies you'll have an enemy who, no matter how long it takes, will wipe out your faction… – she replied simply, with little interest.

Shiva's gaze instantly went to the giant serpent on the ground, held down, and he realized what she meant—the worst creation of Elohim… the Cursed Leviathan, and next to it, the Phoenix.

Shiva clenched his fists, looking at Naruto and Ophis.

Naruto dispelled his less-than-pleasant transformation but kept his wings, giving Shiva a wink.

Naruto: Help me, and I'll help you… kill him… – he told the little loli. Shiva was the biggest threat in his eyes, with his destruction energy… That's why he was cautious; his release was useless against him.

Explosions continued to thunder in the distance, but the trio paid them no mind. Each of them was more than capable of crushing everyone there individually, with a few exceptions.

Shiva frowned.

Ophis: Withdraw… You shouldn't have intervened. By coming here, you left your faction—which you seek to protect from the demon—unprotected… – she told him.

Shiva: The gods are more than capable of buying me a few seconds to— – he didn't finish, interrupted.

Ophis: They were… Gaia, Izanami, Aphrodite, and other beings attacked your faction the instant you disappeared… – she explained calmly, as Shiva's heart skipped a beat.

Naruto raised an eyebrow. He hadn't known about that, nor why everything had literally turned out like this when all he had been trying to do was remove the Sekiryūtei from the group and later sacrifice him live, in front of everyone, to plunge the hero group into despair.

Ophis: You don't know everything. Didn't you wonder why the Egyptian faction—or what's left of it, who hate Naruto and the demons the most—didn't come rushing in to take a side? They're also under attack, as a message to anyone who chooses a side. That's why there aren't many of them here. Your faction is being systematically wiped out. Your presence here was planned and anticipated. They wanted to lure you away from your home… – she said calmly, while Shiva blinked in confusion.

Naruto: What the hell?… – he exclaimed. He had also felt that everything was strange from the beginning, and this goddess wasn't supposed to be naive.

Shiva: Who?… – he asked, trying to make sense of what was happening. It seemed he had been manipulated. Oh no—his wives and family were in danger.

"Stop!"

Egyptian faction.

Watching from afar as the demons looted the recently destroyed faction, Vali, the current Hakuryūkō, could be seen.

"Don't interfere, Va-kun… We can still be friends…"

Vali froze for a second when a familiar figure—the only one who had ever called him by that nickname—appeared beside him, watching what was happening in the distance.

Vali: Lavinia… – he said in surprise. She had simply disappeared.

"Hello… son…"

Vali turned so fast his neck hurt when a face so familiar and nostalgic appeared before his eyes.

Albion: No… – he breathed in disbelief.

"Motheeeer…"
