Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 – A Legacy Beyond Time

Long before the age of Saiyans, Namekians, or even Frieza's reign, the cosmos held secrets now buried in silence. Among them was Krypton, a radiant world in Universe 6, orbiting a colossal yellow sun. Its people were not warriors, but living conduits of power—beings whose very cells absorbed and magnified solar energy, turning light into strength. Their civilization reached wonders of science that rivaled the gods themselves. Cities gleamed like liquid gold, towers spiraled into the sky, and laboratories hummed with energy that bent light and gravity alike.

Yet pride and brilliance often walked hand in hand with downfall. Krypton's core became unstable. Warnings were ignored, arrogance blinding even the wisest of its council. And in a cataclysm of fire, the planet vanished. The Kryptonian race, once glorious, was reduced to dust—its memory fading into legend. Entire archives of knowledge dissolved in the void, leaving only faint whispers of their existence.

Across Universe 7, the Saiyans of Planet Vegeta thrived under the shadow of Frieza's tyranny. Fierce and cunning, they conquered, fought, and multiplied, unaware that their own extinction would one day mirror Krypton's. Wars raged, yet even the mightiest Saiyan never dreamed that a thread of fate could bridge worlds.

Through a rare rupture between dimensions, a Kryptonian scientist named Zar-El of Universe 6 reached out to a Saiyan exile named Rynar of Universe 7. They spoke not with voices, but through currents of data flung across the rift, a desperate exchange between two dying civilizations. Zar-El's crystalline fingers traced the energy signatures of his people; Rynar's battle-worn mind calculated strategy and survival. Zar-El sought to preserve his people's legacy. Rynar sought to break Frieza's chains and ensure the Saiyan spirit would outlive its master. Together, they conceived the impossible: a hybrid embryo, merging the indomitable spirit of the Saiyan with the limitless solar potential of the Kryptonian. Not a weapon bound by weakness, but a being unshackled from fate. They called it: The Starborn Genesis.

With their worlds collapsing, Zar-El and Rynar poured their final hopes into the embryo. Enclosed within a capsule forged of Kryptonian crystal and reinforced with Saiyan armor, it was cast into the currents of space. But this was no ordinary vessel. Using forbidden science, Zar-El bound the embryo in temporal stasis. Time would not touch it. Millions of years could pass, and it would remain unborn, waiting. It floated beyond stars and voids, past the decay of dying planets and the birth of new ones, untouched by age or entropy.

Eras later, a being of radiant light noticed the drifting capsule. Neither mortal nor fully divine, some might have called it a Kaioshin, others an Angel, perhaps something older still. It gazed upon the unborn child and spoke through the void:

"Your people are ash. Your lineage erased. But you are more than their echoes. You will awaken not when you were made, but when the cosmos requires you. Be reborn in a world of gods and warriors. Become the choice that both Krypton and the Saiyans were denied."

With a gesture, the being loosened the stasis. The capsule vanished into the timestream, no longer bound by the age of its creation, drifting toward its destined moment.

On a quiet night on Earth, in the age of Son Goku, the skies split apart. A streak of fire tore across the heavens, crashing into a mountain valley with a thunderous roar. Villagers awoke to the sound, hearts pounding as rocks tumbled and wind tore through trees. At the crater's center, the capsule hissed as steam escaped its crystalline seams. Inside, a child slept, wrapped in metallic cloth that shimmered like liquid gold. His tiny fists glowed faintly, his eyes opening for a brief instant mirroring the sun itself.

Upon his chest, a strange symbol pulsed: a blazing sun encircled by a golden tail, marking him as one born of two lost worlds.

A humble farmer and his wife approached cautiously. — "He… he fell from the stars," the woman whispered, voice trembling. The man, though fearful, lifted the boy gently. — "Then the stars entrusted him to us. We'll raise him as our own." They named him Kael.

Kael grew quickly, different from other children. Even as a boy, he could lift stones larger than himself, run faster than the wind, and leap across ravines with ease. The sun seemed to love him; under its golden light, his strength swelled beyond imagination. At times, his tail unfurled like bronze fire, and his eyes flared gold, filled with instinct he did not understand. It was not only power—it was a hunger to fight, to grow, to ascend. At night, he would stare at the stars and feel an ache he could not name, as though they whispered of a destiny beyond his reach. Unbeknownst to him, the universe itself had begun to shift. The arrival of the last Saiyan survivors was drawing near. And when they came, the world would discover the truth: Kael was no ordinary child. He was the Heir of the Stars.
