"DXD: Transfer Student"Chapter 254: Might Have to Bear His Child

Draconis Yi's sword crashed down, Loki scrambling to raise every scrap of divine power he could muster. A shimmering barrier snapped into place, barely holding against the force of the attack. For a moment, the two powers locked in a furious deadlock.

Draconis Yi's eyes narrowed. He poured more holy-demonic energy into the blade—the light grew blinding, Loki's shield began to tremble, cracks spidering across its surface.

On the other side of the battlefield, Fenrir panicked. Loyal to a fault, the giant wolf lunged, desperate to break through and reach Loki.

But a purple magic circle bloomed beneath its paws. Chains of energy shot out, wrapping Fenrir tight before it could take another step.

Draconis Yi's clone caught the scene, brow furrowing. That magic circle wasn't part of their plan. Who—

Koneko's expression shifted, recognition flickering in her eyes. "It's big sister."

A sultry voice echoed above the circle. Floating there was a woman in a black kimono—black hair, gold eyes, and a pair of jet-black cat ears.

"…Kuroka."

Koneko's posture stiffened, wary and defensive.

Kuroka smiled, eyes glinting. "Koneko, you've accepted your power now, haven't you? Good girl. Makes your big sister proud."

Koneko's answer was steel. "I won't end up like you, neesan."

Kuroka laughed softly. "Never say never. We're born for battle—our hearts never settle."

She turned, snow-white legs swinging free as she stepped onto Fenrir's massive head. "Don't bother struggling, puppy. We went to a lot of trouble just for you."

Her finger traced Fenrir's eye, smile still in place but colder now.

Draconis Yi's clone watched, piecing it together—Khaos Brigade's real target was Fenrir. This wolf was no ordinary beast; its God-Slaying Fangs could wound even a deity. Xenovia and the others had kept their distance for good reason.

"You teamed up with Loki just for Fenrir?" Draconis Yi's clone asked, voice icy.

"Of course. Vali wants those fangs, after all." Kuroka's gaze lingered on Draconis Yi's clone, a hint of admiration in her tone. "Your powers… really something."

Draconis Yi wasn't interested in small talk. "That wolf should be my prisoner."

He reached out, holy-demonic energy swirling toward Fenrir. Kuroka didn't flinch, just watched with that sly smile.

A flash of sword light split the air—Draconis Yi's magic was sliced apart. From a rift in space stepped a young man in a suit, sword in hand, Bikou at his side.

"…Arthur."

Draconis Yi's clone tensed. Even without his Sacred Gear, he was no pushover, but Arthur's Holy Sword was a genuine threat.

"Fenrir's ours for now. You'd better finish with Loki—wait too long and you'll lose your chance," Arthur said, bowing with impeccable courtesy.

Draconis Yi weighed his options, then turned away, cold and silent, focusing back on Loki.

Kuroka and her crew let out a collective sigh of relief. They'd poured everything into capturing Fenrir, with Loki's chaos as perfect cover. Facing Draconis Yi head-on would have been a nightmare.

No one had expected him to be this strong. His calm, unassuming demeanor had fooled them all. Absolute Dominion—now they understood why they'd underestimated him.

At least their plan had succeeded.

Loki, meanwhile, realized he'd been played. Fenrir was gone, and his situation had gone from bad to catastrophic.

"Damn it, Vali, you set me up…"

"Should've kept your arrogance in check, you divine idiot. Go die with your twisted ideals," Draconis Yi said, voice flat as he gripped the Regalia Blade tighter.

His clone joined in, both launching attacks at once. The unfair numbers overwhelmed Loki—he could only watch as Draconis Yi's sword shattered his final defenses.

BOOM.

A Maou-class strike.

Judgment of the Monarch blazed, swallowing Loki whole. He vanished in a burst of light.

For a long moment, Rias and her team stood in stunned silence. Draconis Yi had killed a god.

Once, only Longinus wielders could dream of such a feat. Now, Draconis Yi had done it. His Sacred Gear would surely be counted among the God-Slaying ranks after this.

Draconis Yi sensed something shift. He looked up at the massive black citadel hanging in the sky—something about it had changed.

It seemed to have absorbed a fragment of Loki's power. The ancient fortress, once lifeless, now pulsed with a strange new energy.

His gaze landed on the black statues lining the walls. For the first time, he felt a faint aura emanating from them.

Could they… actually fight?

If those statues—once the Virtuous Monarch's elite warriors—could take the field, Draconis Yi couldn't imagine the chaos that would follow.

In the distance, Kuroka and her crew secured Fenrir. Arthur sliced open a rift, and Kuroka paused, glancing back at Draconis Yi with a look both admiring and mischievous.

He really was something else…

Koneko had changed so much since meeting him…

Not bad. Maybe I'll have to bear his child.

Kuroka's lips curled in a secretive smile as she slipped into the rift, plotting who knows what.

With Loki gone, Draconis Yi turned his attention to the clean-up. Fenrir's offspring, Sköll and Hati, fell quickly, and Rias's team finished off the serpent clones.

Victory was complete.
