"DXD: Transfer Student"Chapter 253: Group Invincibility Divine Skill
Once, splitting himself into clones had been riddled with restrictions for Draconis Yi. Like the Queen Promotion, it required Rias to pinpoint an enemy HQ, or the boundaries of a Rating Game to function.
But now? Absolute Dominion changed everything.
Draconis Yi wielded full command over every power in his body—no more chess piece rules, no more artificial limits. He could trigger Promotion or duplication whenever he pleased, skills once locked behind the game's mechanics.
Seeing a clone with the same overwhelming strength as the original, Loki was stunned into silence.
Draconis Yi had already been tossing around Maou-level attacks. Now he'd doubled up? Was this even fair anymore?
Loki had banked on Fenrir and his other monsters to tip the scales, but with the clone on the field, his strategy was in shambles.
Rias's eyes sparkled. "Well, this is a gift from the gods. Fenrir's all yours, then?"
Sona and Tsubaki just stared, speechless. Rias was already picturing future Rating Games—with a peerage member like Draconis Yi, the championship was hers, no contest.
Draconis Yi flashed a grin. His clone zipped in front of Fenrir, waving to Xenovia.
"Xenovia, mind if I borrow Ascalon?"
Xenovia, locked in battle with Fenrir alongside Irina, wielded a Holy Sword in each hand. Seeing Draconis Yi's clone arrive, she managed a tired smile. With him here, the fight just got a whole lot easier.
She tossed Ascalon to the clone. On another front, Koneko's transformation caught everyone's attention—cat tail flicking out, ears perking atop her head, her aura spiking.
She'd accepted her nekomata power at last. Senjutsu flooded her veins; she now stood at Ultimate-class devil strength.
"I'll take point," Koneko murmured, unleashing a senjutsu strike that sent Hati flying.
Akeno watched, quietly impressed. Then, with a determined nod, she let her own wings shift—half devil, half fallen angel.
"Lightning!" she intoned, voice low but fierce.
Her magic surged, multiplying in strength. She'd broken through to Ultimate-class as well.
BOOM.
Another giant wolf went tumbling, courtesy of Akeno.
Rias's confidence soared. "Perfect! Time for an all-out assault!"
Her magic boiled, her attacks nearly matching Ultimate-class intensity. A breakthrough was close.
With Rias's relentless firepower, Rossweisse joined in, unleashing her own barrage. Together, they managed to blast one of the serpent clones to oblivion.
The tide had turned. Loki's face contorted with rage.
"Damn you! You worthless pests!"
Divine power screamed through the air. Driven to the brink, Loki went all in.
Magical sigils blazed across the sky, vast and ominous.
Rossweisse paled. "Lord Loki, you'll tear this whole dimension apart!"
No one doubted it. The pressure was suffocating—Ultimate-class devils struggled to breathe.
Then, pillars of divine light crashed down, shaking the earth. This was Maou-level devastation.
Unlike Draconis Yi's precision strikes, Loki's magic was a blanket bombardment—no one was spared.
Draconis Yi frowned. The mad dog was desperate. But he couldn't let this place be wiped out—there was a city nearby, innocent lives at stake.
Loki spread his arms, divine power flooding out.
"Die, insects!"
BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM—
The sky erupted, magic circles firing off countless beams of annihilation.
Draconis Yi raised his hand. The silver Divine Lament Shield materialized.
High above, golden patterns rippled across the black fortress. The shield in Draconis Yi's grip blazed, radiating light.
Aegis of the Virtuous Monarch.
Golden light swept out, freezing everything in its path. The divine beams slammed down—yet not a speck of dust stirred. If not for the raw destructive energy swirling, one might think it was all a joke.
This wasn't the same Aegis he'd used before. The range was massive now—a true area-wide defense, not just a selective shield.
A group invincibility technique. Supernatural, absurd, and utterly game-breaking.
Loki's eyes bulged.
"Impossible… That's not even a Longinus! How can it be this strong?"
Draconis Yi just chuckled. "Longinus aren't limited to what's written in the records."
Right now, his sword and shield set might not be a Longinus, but its power was easily on par.
Loki stared, dumbfounded, as his grand magic was brushed aside like nothing.
"There's my chance!" Saji Genshirou shouted. Loki's energy was spent—this was it.
WHOOSH.
A purple rope shot from Saji's Sacred Gear, winding tight around Loki.
"Got you!" Saji crowed.
Loki snarled, pouring divine power into breaking free—but the rope held.
"No… This can't be!"
The god's eyes went wide. Even his attacks couldn't snap the binding.
"This is the Black Dragon King's curse, Lord Loki. Not so easy to shake off," Saji said, grinning.
Loki raged, voice cracking with disbelief. "Why did the God of the Bible leave Balance Breakers? Why create weapons that can kill gods? Did he foresee something? Why give humans the power to slay the divine…"
It was panic, not just anger. Both Draconis Yi and Saji were once human—now devils wielding god-killing power.
Draconis Yi didn't waste time pondering. He gripped the Regalia Blade, eyes locked on Loki.
Opportunity had arrived. This time, he'd finish it.
Under Loki's frantic gaze, Draconis Yi unleashed Judgment of the Monarch once more—bringing the blade down with lethal finality.
