Olowokere was unamazed when he saw the two brothers advancing towards him with guns, as they were the only children he knew they could attempt to kill him, because they were his non-biological children. He had known about this since their childhood. However, he did not discard them, he appointed them as his vice chairmen, raised them and sent them to school as if they were his own biological sons.
After they had successfully unlocked the smart door, they entered Olowokere's bedroom. Olowokere asked them why they were trying to kill him, despite all the great things he had done for them and their mother.
"Why are you trying to murder me, Adeola and Gabriel?" he asked, his voice laced with a hint sadness.
Adeola replied, "Dad, do you think I am stupid? I am a grown up and married man, but you still think you could fool me and my younger brother. Why did you not add us to the list of the names of the children that will inherit your assets?"
Olowokere, "I know you are not stupid. But how did you know that I did not add you and your brother's names to my will? Did I tell you that?"
Adeola and Seyi both sneered and replied in unison, "Of course, we knew. Because we are not stupid like you thought we are. We have no time to waste, Dad. We are very grateful that you did not give us too much stress, for Opeyemi, Ayomide and Yetunde are here. They will both meet their demise with you right here this morning."
Olowokere, "I may be old, but I am not senile. Did your mother not tell you that you are not my sons? I did DNA test for both of you when you were young, and the result were negative. You have no blood of mine in you, said angrily. You are not my sons. Nonetheless, I appointed you as my vice chairmen, raised you and sent you to school as my own biological sons. Then what else do you want? Are you not satisfied with that? How can you be so greedy and covetous?"
Gabriel, "Greedy? Covetous? he sneered. Yes, we are greedy and covetous. You did not show us love like you did to the others. Was it because you thought we are not your sons? Then why did you raised us and sent us to school?"
Adeola, "It is okay Gabriel. We have no time to waste. Let's finish him off and leave, said maliciously."
Adeola was aware of the shocking truth that he and his younger brother, Gabriel, were not their father's biological sons. However, he kept this secret from Gabriel. The revelation stemmed from a tumultuous period in their childhood when Olowokere, their father, discovered through a DNA test that his second wife's children were not his own. Initially, Olowokere demanded that his wife should send the boys to live with their biological father, but she refused, leading to a bitter dispute. Eventually, Olowokere relented and agreed to raise them as his own. Since then, Adeola had harbored the knowledge that he and Gabriel were, in fact, non-biological children of Olowokere.
The non-biological children were the ones who wanted to take the life of the man who raised them, sent them to school, and made them his vice chairmen in his companies. Despite Olowokere's unwavering support, Adeola and Gabriel's actions were deplorable. They sought to harm Olowokere and claim the assets that were not rightfully theirs, driven by greed and a covetous nature.
This was indeed the hallmark of ungrateful non-biological children and impossible heirs. Their insatiable desire for wealth would ultimately lead them to commit unspeakable acts, revealing the true depths of their depravity.
