Chapter 3 - 3. Lenergy dan Legends

Three years had passed in the blink of an eye, and the Legends' progress continued unabated as they fought tirelessly to train themselves, each striving to become the strongest in pursuit of their individual goals.

Sirius, the commander of the war that would go down in history, was a king who ruled the kingdom of Legenia as the supreme hierarchy above all other kingdoms on other planets—except for planet Legenia, which he currently inhabited.

So far, he had acquired at least three Origin Legends who had been trained with all the advanced facilities within the kingdom of Legenia, until their potential was unmistakably clear.

Although these Origins only allowed their users to master a single type of magic, having complete fundamental mastery over one magical art could prove extraordinarily dangerous.

The existence of Seiya as the Origin Light remained completely unknown to Sirius, as he was already confident that the three Origin Legends he had obtained who carry darkness, wind, and plant magic would be sufficient for the coming war.

Now...

As for Satori Seiya, who had already turned ten years old, he...

...

...

"Alright, children, can anyone explain what the Legend race is?" spoke a teacher while tapping the wooden blackboard behind him.

Seiya immediately raised his hand, prompting the teacher, who often saw him volunteer, to feel somewhat weary. "Isn't there anyone else who'd like to answer besides Seiya?"

The other students remained silent, some feeling shy, others lazy, and some genuinely feeling too ignorant to meet their teacher's gaze.

"Sigh... Go ahead, Seiya..."

Seiya, who sat in the front row, immediately approached the teacher and faced all his classmates to explain what the Legend race was.

"Legends are a race born with the DNA of both animals and plants, making us one of the perfect warrior races."

"As Legends, we are all blessed with agelessness, which means we cannot grow old or die from old age."

"Our bodies will stop aging once we reach adulthood."

"The reason is that we must remain young to continue fighting for our individual purposes as a race that makes history."

Seiya's explanation was understood by all his classmates because he always explained things with his characteristic hand gestures that he moved quite naturally.

He also continued his explanation by drawing comparisons with the Human race, noting that these two races only shared similarities in appearance.

What distinguished them, of course, were their lifespans and the Lenergy that humans didn't possess.

"As usual, Seiya. You always—"

Seiya immediately cut off his teacher's words while shaking his head and hands, not wanting to be praised like that in front of the class.

"Please don't praise me, Teacher..."

"Everyone surely already understands what the Legend race is, and I'm standing here just to summarize the main points." Seiya smiled.

"Excellent! In that case, can you explain the Lenergy you just mentioned?"

Seiya nodded. "Lenergy is the source of life energy centered in our hearts and brains."

"Lenergy can help all of us enhance our physical abilities many times over, depending on how much Lenergy is channeled."

"Just by channeling it into our fists alone is enough to make our punches capable of destroying entire trees."

Seiya continued explaining Lenergy as the foundation of the Legends, as it provided so many advantages.

Not only physical enhancement but magic could also be used through Lenergy, as long as they had sufficient capacity to unleash powerful spells.

Lenergy required no incantations to cast magic because it was aided by the Legend brain, which was also the center of Lenergy.

Simply by visualizing what magic would be cast, it would immediately manifest from the direction of the channeled Lenergy flow.

All the students wanted to try what Seiya had described, but their teacher immediately stopped them before something unexpected could happen.

"Once again, thank you, Seiya, for being willing to explain such important knowledge to all of us."

"Give him a round of applause." The teacher clapped along with all the students.

Seiya could only chuckle awkwardly before returning to his seat, where his desk partner began congratulating him.

When the bell signaling the end of class rang, Seiya hurried to pack his books into his bag.

However, before he could step out of the classroom, the doorway was already crowded with students from various classes.

"Seiya! Can you teach me how to channel Lenergy properly?" called out a brown-haired boy.

"Me too! My punches still can't destroy anything, not even small twigs," added his friend with a pleading expression.

From another side, a group of girls whispered among themselves while gazing at Seiya with sparkling eyes.

"He's really smart... and the way he speaks is so mature," murmured one of them with flushed cheeks.

"Seiya, would you like to have lunch with me?" asked a long-haired girl while offering a neatly wrapped lunch box.

Seiya smiled awkwardly while scratching the back of his head. This kind of popularity made him uncomfortable. "Sorry everyone, I need to go train first. Maybe some other time..."

He hurried through the crowd and walked toward the forest behind the school where his favorite place to practice alone.

In a corner of the corridor, three larger boys watched Seiya's departure with displeased expressions. Their leader, Kenzo, clenched his fist in frustration.

"Show-off! He thinks he's so great," he grumbled.

"Exactly, Kenzo. All the girls only pay attention to him just because he's smarter," agreed Riku, his chubby gang member.

"Let's follow him. Time to teach that class star a lesson," Kenzo decided, signaling his two friends to follow him.

In the middle of the forest, Seiya stood before a massive oak tree whose trunk would require five adults to encircle it with their arms.

He closed his eyes, feeling the flow of Lenergy coursing from his heart and brain throughout his body.

"Concentrate... feel the flow..." he murmured softly.

Unbeknownst to Seiya, Kenzo and his two friends had already hidden behind the bushes, ready to pounce and beat him up.

But what they witnessed next left them frozen in place.

Seiya opened his eyes, then assumed a perfect fighting stance.

Golden Lenergy began flowing around his body like aurora dancing gently.

He moved his hands in extremely smooth and controlled motions—a martial art that looked like a deadly dance.

"I can feel it..." Seiya whispered as he unleashed a series of punches and kicks into the air.

Each movement of his hands created invisible waves of Lenergy, but their impact was very real.

The large trees around him began to tremble, then one by one their trunks cracked and toppled with thunderous crashes.

Within minutes, an area the size of a soccer field had transformed into a landscape of fallen trees.

Kenzo and his friends covered their mouths with their hands, eyes wide with disbelief.

"Im-impossible..." Riku stammered.

"He's only ten years old like us..."

But Seiya wasn't finished. He took a deep breath, then raised both hands skyward.

This time, the flowing Lenergy changed color to a brilliant golden-white that produced warm, soothing light.

"Sorry for damaging you all, but I'll restore you even better than before," he said with a voice that was calm yet filled with power.

Gentle light began radiating from his palms, spreading across the entire devastated area.

A miracle unfolded...

The fallen trees slowly rose again, cracked trunks mended as if nothing had happened, and even scattered leaves reattached to their branches.

Within minutes, the forest had recovered completely as though it had never experienced any damage whatsoever.

Kenzo and his two friends exchanged glances with deathly pale faces.

Their bullying plan? It had evaporated along with their overwhelming shock.

They backed away slowly, trying not to make any sound, then ran like lightning from that place.

Seiya smiled slightly while wiping the sweat from his forehead. "Still need a lot more practice. My magic control isn't perfect yet..."

He didn't realize that his demonstration of power had just changed the perspective of three children who had intended to harass him.

Seiya's life over the past 24 hours revolved around nothing but training, studying, and resting, giving him incredibly strong discipline that had been shaped by Kirasaki.

However, it had been a week since Kirasaki left due to sudden urgent business, so Seiya could only train alone without receiving new knowledge from him.

As evening approached, he intended to head home while moving using only his hands, while his feet were currently supporting weights in the form of fish the size of boulders.

As long as he didn't feel tired and could continue his training, he kept using that opportunity to keep developing further and further.

Upon arriving in front of his simple-looking house, Seiya noticed smoke rising from the chimney, indicating that Kirasaki had returned home.

He immediately kicked the fish upward and caught it, then ran into his unlocked house only to see Kirasaki enjoying a cup of hot tea and grilled meat.

"Oh, Seiya. You're still alive, thank goodness." Kirasaki felt happy seeing his student who remained healthy and continued developing during this past week.

"I've been waiting for your return, Master!"

Seiya approached Kirasaki. "I'm ready for whatever training Master will give—"

His words stopped when he saw a girl the same age as him.

A girl dressed like a maid was preparing dinner for the two of them.

Seiya dropped his fish, causing the girl to immediately turn toward him and offer a respectful gesture by bowing her head while lifting her long skirt.

"Welcome back, uhh..." The girl immediately forgot Seiya's name even though Kirasaki had told her.

"Satori Seiya." Seiya took the initiative to speak first.

"Welcome back, Young Master Seiya." The girl smiled, leaving Seiya speechless.

Silent because he was observing the girl's very striking appearance—her long pink hair and eyes has the same color.

"My name is Akari. From now on, I will be your maid under Miss Kirasaki's orders."

"Please treat me kindly~"
