Six months after Magnus vanished from the battlefield, the world of Legends still wrestled with deep wounds.
Though the land had turned green again thanks to the golden particles scattered by the Father of All Legends, the scars of destruction still haunted every corner of their realm.
Cities that once stood magnificent now lay as nothing more than neatly arranged stone ruins.
Small villages that had once been peaceful had transformed into mass graveyards overgrown with wildflowers.
The survivors huddled together in temporary refugee camps, their eyes still harboring fear of an even more devastating war's return.
Sirius had worked tirelessly to rebuild the Legend civilization.
He established recovery outposts throughout the territory, organized food and shelter aid, and searched for surviving Legends to join in preparing for future threats.
But most importantly, he began searching for traces of the Origin Legends, those chosen by Magnus to bear a greater destiny.
Amidst this chaotic recovery, Kirasaki brought Seiya toward a remote village called Raijin.
Their journey took weeks, through forests still littered with battle remnants and rivers whose waters ran reddish from dried blood.
Seiya, still only five years old, often fell asleep on Kirasaki's back.
In his dreams, he always saw flashes of golden light swirling in his chest, as if the Origin Light was trying to communicate with him through his subconscious.
"Master," Seiya whispered one night as they rested by a campfire.
"Why did this light choose me? I'm just a weak little child."
Kirasaki stared at the flickering flames, his face reflecting deep concern.
"Seiya, true strength isn't measured by how big your body is or how hard you can punch."
"The Origin Light chose you because your heart remains pure despite having witnessed the horrors of war."
"But I'm scared, Master. Every time that light glows, I feel like something immense is watching us."
Kirasaki nodded slowly. He felt the same thing himself. Every time Seiya used the Origin Light, even just a little, there was a strange sensation in the air as if another dimension was responding to that power's presence.
"Will Raijin village become my new home...?"
"Yes, it will be where you grow into a great Legend, Seiya."
"But I want to make sure you have a family name."
"Do you know about that?"
Seiya fell silent, he was a child who loved reading from a young age and understood what Kirasaki meant.
"In my dreams... I was given the name Satori Seiya." Seiya spoke with complete honesty.
Kirasaki was momentarily confused by what he meant about the dream, but he knew that little Seiya was filled with honesty due to his own innocence.
"That's a good name. Does it have meaning?" Kirasaki smiled.
"Enlightenment that becomes light, that's what it means..." Seiya said with full confidence.
"I see..." Kirasaki patted Seiya's head.
"I hope you're ready for all the training I'll give you."
"Please give me everything, Master."
"Yes."
...
...
Raijin was a village built on mountain slopes, hidden behind dense bamboo forests.
Its inhabitants were mostly veteran Legends who had retired from the battlefield and young survivors who had lost their families.
The most interesting thing about this village was the presence of an academy that Seiya could utilize to learn and grow into not just a strong Legend, but an intelligent one as well.
"Kirasaki," the academy's headmaster named Ukyo greeted with a warm smile when they arrived at the academy gates.
The man had gray hair tied back and sharp brown eyes full of wisdom. "It's been so long since we last met."
"I'm glad to see you're still alive, though I should have known better than to underestimate a descendant of Shimatsu."
"Ukyo," Kirasaki smiled and patted Seiya's head until he looked up with an innocent expression.
"I need your help. This child... he's special."
Ukyo bent down to look at Seiya hiding behind Kirasaki's robes. His eyes widened when he sensed the different aura from the little child.
"An Origin Legend..." he whispered in disbelief.
"After centuries, one finally appears. I never expected this child would receive it." Ukyo covered his mouth in shock.
"Is that not normal?" Kirasaki asked.
"So far, I've heard that the two Origin Legends found were already adults. One of them was also a war veteran." Ukyo answered.
"I see... Well, what matters is that this child is also the greatest hope for Legends to going forward."
Kirasaki moved closer to Ukyo's ear to whisper, "Make sure you don't tell Sirius about this if you want this village to be safe from his punishment."
Ukyo felt the threat enough that he began breaking into a cold sweat, knowing that Seiya's existence had to be kept secret.
"Don't worry, you don't need to threaten me like that."
"Who's threatening?" Kirasaki chuckled sarcastically until Ukyo could only sigh.
Two years passed since Seiya arrived in Raijin. The academy there became his second home, a place where he learned not only about power, but also about life.
Every morning, before sunrise, Kirasaki would wake Seiya for physical training. They ran around the village, up and down hills, and practiced balance on slippery bamboo logs.
"Lenergy is a life energy that flows from the heart throughout the body," Kirasaki explained while demonstrating meditation poses.
"But unlike the Mana of Mythologia or the fictional imagination of Nartagia, Lenergy must be absorbed from the nature around us."
Seiya, now seven years old, sat cross-legged before Master Kirasaki.
His shimmering golden hair had begun to grow longer, and his golden eyes showed maturity unusual for someone his age.
"Feel the grass beneath your feet," Kirasaki continued.
"Feel the vibrations of life from every leaf, every flower, every living creature around us."
"This universe is full of life energy ready for us to absorb."
Seiya closed his eyes and tried to follow his teacher's instructions. Gradually, he felt something like a gentle flow streaming from the ground, entering through his feet, rising to his heart, then spreading throughout his body.
"Good," Kirasaki smiled seeing the thin golden aura beginning to envelop Seiya's body.
"Now, try channeling that Lenergy to your hand."
Seiya raised his right hand, and with full concentration, tried to move that energy flow.
Golden light shimmered in his palm—not too bright, but enough to make the surrounding leaves tremble responsively.
"Extraordinary," Ukyo, who was watching from a distance, nodded in admiration.
"In two years, he can already control Lenergy with a level of purity that even adult Legends find difficult to achieve."
"It seems he'll become one of those Legends who master both physical and magical abilities, but I believe that's because of the Origin within him."
"No." Kirasaki disagreed.
"This is the result of his hard struggle. Even though he's often faced with many limitations, he never gives up on breaking through them."
However, not all training went smoothly. The Origin Light nestled within Seiya sometimes reacted unpredictably.
One afternoon, while Seiya was practicing basic combat techniques, that power suddenly exploded outward without control.
The burst of golden light created a small crater in the training ground. Trees around it grew wildly, flowers bloomed instantly, but some also withered.
Origin Light didn't just give life—it could also take it away.
"Master!" Seiya screamed in panic, seeing the destruction he had caused.
Kirasaki immediately embraced Seiya, calming him. "It's alright, Seiya."
"A power this great takes time to control. What matters is that you don't give up."
"But what if I hurt other people? What if I can't control it?"
"That's exactly why you must keep training," Kirasaki gently stroked Seiya's golden hair.
"Origin Light isn't a curse, but a responsibility. Someday, this power will protect many people and become a symbol of hope."
Besides physical training and Lenergy control, Seiya also learned about history and war strategy in academy classes.
Ukyo taught him about the three races that fought in the Historic War.
"Legends rely on physical strength enhanced by Lenergy," Ukyo explained while pointing to diagrams on a wooden board.
"We absorb life energy from nature, store it in our hearts, then channel it to muscles and bones to strengthen our bodies."
"Mythologia uses Mana to manipulate myths into reality."
"They can summon legendary creatures, transform body shapes, even bend natural laws with ancient stories."
"While Nartagia uses pure imagination to create anything they can envision. The more creative and detailed their imagination, the stronger their creations."
Seiya listened intently, his eyes sparkling with curiosity. "Master, then why could Legends win against them?"
"Because we have something they don't—persistence and endurance that's almost limitless," Ukyo smiled proudly.
"Myths can be shattered by reality, imagination can fade with time, but power that comes from life itself will always exist as long as this universe exists."
Seiya noted all of this in his own book until his knowledge of history became increasingly extensive.
These two years truly felt like a miracle for him because he was blessed with the opportunity to be grateful for his safety during that historic war.
On certain nights, when the full moon shone bright, Kirasaki would invite Seiya to meditate together on a hilltop overlooking the valley.
They sat in silence, feeling the natural Lenergy flowing freely in the night air.
"Master," Seiya said one night.
"Will father Magnus return?"
Kirasaki fell silent for a moment, gazing at the twinkling stars. "I don't know, Seiya. But I'm certain that when the time comes, he will appear to protect us all."
"I want to meet him," Seiya said with a voice full of longing.
"I want to ask him why he gave me this power."
"Someday you will meet him," Kirasaki patted Seiya's shoulder.
"But before that, you must become a Legend worthy of receiving his answer."
During those two years, Seiya not only grew physically and mentally, but also began to understand the burden he carried.
Origin Light didn't just grant power, but also strange visions of future wars more terrible than before, enemies he had never seen, and destiny waiting at the road's end.
However, thanks to Kirasaki's guidance and the warmth of his small family at the Academy, Seiya began to believe that he could face whatever awaited him.
