Chapter 21 - 21: Extreme Speed Frenzy

The Silver Marauder was already shocking enough. But when Leon stepped out, the crowd went wild.

The car was stunning—its owner, even more so. Young, handsome, and carrying himself with effortless confidence. A guy like this had to come from serious money.

Letty was dumbstruck, staring blankly at the Silver Marauder as if frozen.

Pasha couldn't believe her neighbor had been hiding this kind of wealth. She thought he was driving some ordinary car… Who would've imagined a supercar like this?

And not just any supercar—this beast was worth at least ten million!

Even Pasha herself was stunned. Wasn't this car parked back in the garage? How did it show up here?

Did he have two identical supercars? Or were hypercars now buy-one-get-one-free at the mall? Her head spun.

"What are you spacing out for? Get in," Leon urged from the driver's seat.

"Oh—right!"

The two snapped out of their daze and scrambled into the car.

As soon as they sat down, the doors closed automatically with an elegant hum.

"So cool…" Letty sighed in awe. She couldn't help but imagine owning one herself.

Inside, the leather seats were luxuriously soft. Subtle ambient lighting bathed the cabin in a princely glow.

She was already in love with this car.

Outside, a few women on the sidewalk had been watching the scene unfold. When they saw Letty and Pasha get in, their eyes lit up.

There was still room in the car—if they could charm the owner, maybe they'd get a ride too. Or even score a payday.

They batted their lashes, shot sultry looks, even walked up to flirt with Leon, trying to catch his attention with exaggerated gestures.

Leon only smiled faintly, then shifted into gear and floored the accelerator.

The Silver Marauder roared to life, its thunderous engine note shaking the crowd. Startled onlookers stumbled back, parting instinctively to open a path.

Now that he'd swapped out the busted van, Leon was about to unleash his true terror.

Pasha had thought she'd already experienced his full speed when he drove the van. No way he could be faster than that, right?

How wrong she was.

Leon slammed the pedal, dropped the clutch, and the Silver Marauder rocketed forward.

Launch control, nitrous injection—everything was engaged.

Eight exhaust pipes spewed blue flames as the hypercar leapt ahead with brutal acceleration.

The g-forces slammed them back into their seats.

Even Letty—who lived for street racing—went pale with shock. This was still the city! He was really driving this fast here?!

"Slow down! Slow down! The city isn't the countryside—there are cars everywhere!" Letty cried, clutching her shirt, her lips losing all color.

Buildings blurred past in streaks of light. Letty dared a glance at the speedometer—at least 200 km/h!

"Holy shit—two hundred? Are you insane?!" she screamed.

In the city, this speed was madness. If he took this thing to open roads, would he be hitting three, four, maybe five hundred?!

She felt like she was going insane herself.

Pasha shrieked in the back seat, hugging the headrest with her eyes squeezed shut.

Every time Leon drove, she felt like her soul was about to fly out of her body—not because he was clumsy, but because he was too fast.

Few people could stomach this kind of velocity.

Leon laughed heartily, exhilarated.

Once they reached the outskirts—wider roads, fewer cars—he pushed the Silver Marauder even further.

Breaking past 300… 400… 500… edging toward 700 km/h.

"Too fast!!" Letty's eyes widened in disbelief.

She couldn't even see the road anymore. Everything outside was just a blur, impossible to track.

And yet Leon handled the car effortlessly—dodging, weaving, drifting through turns like he already knew the road ahead by heart.

His driving gift was beyond comprehension.

Under Leon's breakneck pace, what should've been a two-hour drive was slashed down to just twenty minutes.

The moment they stopped, Pasha bolted out of the car and immediately doubled over, throwing up.

The endless drifts, the sudden turns, the sharp evasions—it had churned her insides upside down.

Letty didn't fare much better. Her legs trembled as she climbed out, knees buckling as if she might collapse. Her eyes were vacant, like her soul hadn't caught up yet.

This was the fastest car ride of her life. Faster and scarier than any roller coaster—an experience she'd never forget. She figured she'd be spinning in her dreams tonight.

"You two okay?" Leon asked with a teasing grin.

"...I'll live," Letty forced out between clenched teeth, though she was on the verge of vomiting herself.

Then she noticed something and gasped, pointing at the Silver Marauder. "Your car—it's rolling away! You forgot the handbrake!"

Leon glanced back, perfectly calm. "Relax. It's just parking itself back into the garage."

Letty froze, stunned.

No wonder this was a top-tier hypercar. Automatic parking, remote summons… who knew what other features it still had hidden?

The more she learned, the more unbelievable it became.

Before their eyes, the Silver Marauder slid smoothly into its garage bay, the door closing behind it.

"Ding! Task complete. Mission rank up—Level +1. All attributes +100. Reward: Ultrasonic Drainage System."

Another mission down. Leon grinned in satisfaction.

He was now Level 4. His attributes had reached 400 across the board.

His muscles were denser, his body tougher—he was nearly unstoppable.

Even if he went toe-to-toe with Agent Hobbs, the Rock himself, he wouldn't be at a disadvantage.
