Chapter 20 - 20: Advanced Supercar Summon

Leon's body, after modification, possessed extraordinary strength.

Even if his opponent was a 200-pound brute, a single kick from him could cause a concussion.

The thug screamed in agony, blood spraying from his nose and mouth, two teeth flying loose.

His eyes rolled back and he collapsed unconscious.

"Pah." Leon spat disdainfully. "What kind of trash gang is this? You think you can compare with me?"

Who was Leon?

A man blessed with a system, superhuman stats, monstrous driving skills, and insane supercars.

Even if a helicopter showed up, he wouldn't flinch.

Why would he ever fear some street gang?

"Let's go, we'll talk when we get back," Leon told the women.

"But how? The car's wrecked," Letty said, frowning at their van.

The front end was crushed, thick smoke billowing out.

With that level of damage, even the best mechanic couldn't restore it fully.

At best, it could be patched up enough to crawl forward. One more bump, though, and it could break down again.

Driving it on the road was a death trap.

"Having a car won't help," Leon shook his head. "With this traffic jam, we couldn't even drive out if we wanted to."

Pasha glanced around. At the intersection, a massive traffic snarl had formed.

Car horns blared non-stop, drivers in back oblivious to what had actually happened up front.

The sidewalks were packed with onlookers whispering amongst themselves, shock and disbelief on every face.

"What do we do now?" Letty turned to Leon.

Unknowingly, she and Pasha had already begun treating him as their backbone — trusting and relying on him completely.

Leon frowned, deep in thought. At that moment, the system's voice chimed in again:

"Ding! Silver Marauder is equipped with global positioning and navigation. Once a location is set, Silver Marauder can automatically arrive at the designated spot."

So powerful?

Leon's eyes lit up. That function was insane.

Sure, modern high-end cars had features like autopark, remote summon, or remote control — but they all had strict distance limits.

The owner couldn't be too far away, otherwise the summon simply wouldn't work.

But Silver Marauder shattered those limits.

It could be summoned from anywhere in the world.

This was beyond powerful! Leon was thrilled, his fondness for Silver Marauder growing even deeper.

In his mind, a 2D map of Los Angeles popped up, showing their current position and the traffic congestion.

"Recommendation: board on Glory Avenue, two kilometers away," the system highlighted in green.

That was the optimal pickup point. Judging by the traffic jam's spread, it wouldn't clog up there for a while.

"Alright, set it to Glory Avenue. How long until it gets here?"

"Within twenty minutes."

With Silver Marauder's max speed of 700 km/h, twenty minutes was about right.

Perfect timing — Leon and the others could walk there within the same span.

"Let's head to Glory Avenue. The car will meet us there." Leon led the way.

Letty and Pasha exchanged puzzled glances.

How did he know there'd be a car waiting on Glory Avenue?

Did he own a private garage around here?

"Let's just follow him and see," Letty said, trailing after Leon.

Not long after they left, American police cars and ambulances arrived, taking control of the scene and filing reports.

Signs of violence were obvious — this wasn't some simple traffic accident.

Chaos rippled through the streets.

The cops didn't know that the people they were chasing were only two blocks away.

If they'd had better surveillance coverage, none of this would have slipped past them.

Twenty minutes later, Leon and the others reached the designated spot.

There it was: Silver Marauder, surrounded by a huge crowd.

Dozens of onlookers had their phones out, snapping pictures furiously.

"Did you see that? It drove here on its own!"

"A driverless supercar? That's insane!"

"I think that's the legendary summon-car feature."

"What brand is this thing? The design is sick."

Silver Marauder's arrival had stunned the entire street.

People formed layer upon layer around it, packed tight, barely leaving breathing room.

Passersby couldn't help but stop and stare, captivated by the car's aura.

"This car's owner — I'll pay fifty million for it!" shouted some fool, smugly assuming that was a fortune.

As if such a pitiful sum could ever buy Silver Marauder. Utter delusion.

"Step aside, this car's mine," Leon said as he pushed through the crowd, holding Letty and Pasha's hands as they slipped into the ring.

The crowd froze in shock.

The owner had shown himself!

Everyone's eyes turned toward him: a handsome Asian guy, holding hands with two gorgeous women, striding confidently up to the car.

"Lucky bastard," people muttered, envy burning in their eyes.

Normally, just catching a glimpse of a beauty like that would be brag-worthy for a month.

And this guy had two of them at once? How were they supposed to stay calm?

"Beep beep~"

Leon pressed his fingerprint unlock. Silver Marauder's doors swung upward automatically.

Even better — it detected the number and positions of passengers, opening three doors at once.

Too damn cool.
