John has walked me to Mr Tiz's office, I'm currently waiting outside. Other students are already waiting here while some are still arriving.
The bell went half an hour ago but Mr Tiz still isn't here.
When the heavy doors open again, I look up. Max walks through the door confidently followed by Mr Tiz. When the doors are closed he speaks with max quietly.
Max walks over to me and pulls me up off the chair. He takes my place then pulls me down onto his lap.
Max wraps his arms around me gently.
'You okay princess? You seem tensed' he asks. I turn my head to him. Dumbfounded.
'Have you not heard about the camping trip?' Max hums in response.
'We're not allowed to go!' I say angrily. He nods.
'We're high risk students Hope, especially us' he explains. I stare at him in utter confusion.
'Mr Tiz would be a complete idiot if he allowed us to go, we escaped from the school, remember?' I sigh. He would be a fool if he allowed us to go.
I look around quietly for a moment before turning back to max. I can't help but ask
'So why are this lot here?' Max chuckles knowingly to himself.
'They've all been in secure before, those who go to secure are not allowed to go on trips' he tells me.
'So if we didn't go to secure we could go?' I ask
'We're special cases baby' he says.
'Special cases? What the fuck does that mean?' Max leans in and whispers in my ear quietly
'We're both on court orders' I nod in understanding then lean back into Max's chest.
I've been thinking while waiting so I turn myself back to max.
'If we can't go then what happens to us?' Max looks at me for a moment before saying
'Welcome to the hellhole baby' I look into his eyes. Searching.
When all I see is seriousness I sigh. Fucking secure for the weekend!
When Mr Tiz walks back through the heavy doors he does a quick headcount. When his finished he starts talking to us.
'As some of you may already know there is a camping excursion today.' He looks at everyone.
'You will not be attending! You all are either high risk students or have been in secure' he explains.
There's a little arguing back but Mr Tiz refuses to entertain them. When everyone settles down and the hallway goes quiet again he speaks.
'The coaches are currently being loaded, as a precaution you will all wait here until the coaches have left the school premises' there's a few moans and groans but Mr Tiz waits patiently for us all to go quiet.
'You will be staying in secure until everyone is back on Monday. You can start on your revision' he states decisively.
'The secure cells will be amended, you will receive some basic amenities for your stay, for now sit tight' Mr Tiz instructs.
I watch as he uses his fob then pulls open the door to the school and walks out swiftly. The door bangs closed and all hell breaks loose.
Tommy and Bella are first to kick off. Bella picks up the chair and throws it in anger. Tommys shouting loudly at the officers
'This ain't fucking fair!' I hum in agreement as others join in the little riot in here.
I'm about to get up but max stops me. He pulls me back to his chest and holds me firmly.
'Don't' he warns. I look at him in confusion.
'Why not?' I question. He smirks then says
'They will lose their privileges' I look at his all knowing eyes as realisation dawns on me.
'They don't know do they?' I question. Max smirks but nods in agreement.
'Should we not stop them then?' I ask which causes Max to chuckle.
'It's too late' he tells me knowingly.
I turn back around and I see why it's too late. Officers are tackling students to the floor and others are being dragged out screaming. It's utter carnage! Complete madness!
I lean back into Max's chest and watch as everything unfolds.
I feel bad for everyone that's dragged away, they should have been warned about the consequences of kicking off.
