As soon as I'm outside I run over to the security podium, where the officers that caught me and max last time we escaped were.
I climb up the steps until the steps are level with the railing then I climb up.
I'm literally about to jump over when hands grab my body, then I'm launched onto the steps. I thrash as soon as I've landed.
'And where do you think you're going?' Asks a deep gravelly voice while grabbing my wrist and cuffing it. I'm bucking and thrashing and screaming now! 'Get the fuck off me'. I can hear multiple sets of rushed footsteps, then John calls out to the man who's trying to cuff my other wrist 'Mr Murthy there's no need for that'.
'I just caught this girl trying to escape! I would never tolerate such behaviour' John sighs and takes over from the man cuffing my other wrist.
I lay on the steps for god knows how long until I hear another set of footsteps. The gravely voice speaks in an accusatory tone now while John pulls me up to my feet.
'Mr Tiz what sort of secure school are you running here? Do you just allow students to abscond without punishment?' There's no answer
'I'm going to have to decline next terms transfer with you, your students are out of control' he complains. I chuckle at his stupid complaints.
'Do you have something to say young lady?' He bellows, his voice piercing my ears.
'Yh actually, I do, just because we're not all goody goody two shoes doesn't mean we're out of control! This school is full of delinquents! You wouldn't last a fucking day here' I sneer.
I watch Mr Tiz come up the steps and faces me
'I warned you yesterday Hope that I expect you on your best behaviour! What an earth were you thinking trying to escape again? School hasn't even started and you're already trying to leave' he says in bewilderment. I look down at the floor in embarrassment.
'what's going on with you?' He asks.
'I just need to chill out, everything has pissed me off this morning' I admit quietly. I know exactly what's wrong with me. I need the injection again.
'I uh need to see the nurse. Immediately!'
'What for?' Mr Tiz asks in utter confusion, I've literally just changed the subject, he just can't seem to keep up with me today.
'It's a female problem, that's why I need to see a nurse' Mr Tiz sighs heavily
'There's a nurse on the school premises Hope, you know that'
'Can I see her then?' I ask hopefully.
'John will take you then you'll be going to secure until you've sorted yourself out Hope, this escaping will not happen again! Are we clear?' I nod my head in response.
John grabs my shoulder with one hand while holding the cuffs in his other hand and pulls me down the steps.
He walks me into the school as the bell goes, radioing through to the nurse.
When we get to the heavy door Mr Tiz holds the door open so we can go through then we go to see the nurse.
John sits me in the medical room and undoes the cuffs then waits outside. A few minutes later the nurse strolls in, closing the door behind her. She sits down at her desk then looks at me and asks
'What can I do for you Hope?' My cheeks flame at the thought of telling the nurse why I'm here so I go for the shortest possible answer.
'The injection' I blurt out.
'Injection! What injection?' She's quiet as I stare at her then she understands 'ohh that injection' I nod my head so she understands she's got it right.
She loads up her computer then starts clicking away, humming every so often.
'Right well I can see your due your next one this week, let me grab one. While you wait get yourself ready' she pulls a blue sheet off and passes it to me then she's off in her back room.
When the nurse comes back, I'm ready, facing the wall, bum cheeks out. She rolls the trolley over, I can hear the wheels squeaking. She wipes the area clean then says 'sharp scratch, stay still now' I close my eyes and bite my lip trying not to scream as the needle pierces my skin, then she injects the liquid into me.
